Unknown:

Hello,

Unknown:

this is Sarah Borealis experience. I'm your host

Unknown:

Aurora, and I'm very happy to be spending some time with you

Unknown:

today. She need time to yourself, if you're just taking

Unknown:

a break from studying, if you're driving back from work, or if

Unknown:

you're simply going with the motions of COVID confinement,

Unknown:

then this is an awesome place to be to recharge your batteries,

Unknown:

and to just focus in on yourself, be good with yourself,

Unknown:

and let time pass and everything will be good again. Today, I

Unknown:

wanted to post an episode about change and how we can make

Unknown:

changes. But I don't really feel inspired today to speak about

Unknown:

changes how to make changes. I'm setting a boundary. We talked

Unknown:

about it before. Instead, I want to post meditation for you. I

Unknown:

haven't been posting meditations in a while. And I feel it is

Unknown:

very timely at the beginning of the week, to have something in

Unknown:

hand to help you through the week. And so I decide otherwise.

Unknown:

Plus, I just realized I will host an online life event

Unknown:

tomorrow. And by the time you listen to these episodes on this

Unknown:

episode here, that event will have expired and you were not

Unknown:

part of it. So that's too bad. And my fault, I will totally say

Unknown:

in advance next time when I host a live event on Instagram, or

Unknown:

Facebook, and then I would love to be to have you on board too.

Unknown:

And to be honest, it was a very spontaneous decision today. And

Unknown:

I'm the kind of person who doesn't want too much time and

Unknown:

between decision making and event

Unknown:

hosting.

Unknown:

Because I get too nervous. And yeah, I just like to be

Unknown:

spontaneous. So I apologize for this. And next time, I'll let

Unknown:

you know in advance. Now find a comfortable seat or lay down on

Unknown:

your mat on the ground. And today's meditation is for when

Unknown:

you feel overwhelmed. It is Monday, maybe Tuesday. And you

Unknown:

just don't know where to begin, where to start. There's so much

Unknown:

to do. There's so much pressure and expectations maybe not only

Unknown:

from yourself, but from the outside. And in those times,

Unknown:

even though it's fields and sounds very counter intuitive.

Unknown:

It is very good practice to sit down for 10 minutes, 15 minutes,

Unknown:

20 minutes, and to just be still and be like a tree in the

Unknown:

forest. You still grow, you still get things done, but

Unknown:

you're recharging your batteries and you're soaking up that good

Unknown:

healing energy of mine, that soothing voice that will make

Unknown:

you feel calm and even more productive afterwards. So if you

Unknown:

found your seed or your position laying down,

Unknown:

take a deep inhale and exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Maybe Close your

Unknown:

eyes today. relax the muscles of your jaw. muscles around your

Unknown:

eyes. Maybe roll your shoulders up and back. And maybe adjust

Unknown:

your pelvis by rolling over your set bones, making a little bit

Unknown:

of an arch in your lower spine, not too much. Tuck your chin a

Unknown:

little bit to elongate your

Unknown:

neck.

Unknown:

And those times who can always place your hands on your heart,

Unknown:

maybe on your heart and your belly, or just on your belly, to

Unknown:

connect even deeper to your breath.

Unknown:

There's this beautiful quote, I forgot who wrote it down, it is

Unknown:

not me. Nature doesn't hurry. Yet, she gets everything done in

Unknown:

time. So sometimes I feel we rushed around and tried to get

Unknown:

things done, and put ourselves under so much pressure. And I

Unknown:

wonder why. And I know why because I do it myself too at

Unknown:

times, because I feel if I'm hard on myself, if I tense up,

Unknown:

that's the only way I can get things done. Like a pit bull, I

Unknown:

bite into my project and tried to muscle through and but that's

Unknown:

not a natural flowy sustainable way to get things done. You

Unknown:

might get things done, but you're totally burned out

Unknown:

afterwards, or you take it out on your partner and your kids.

Unknown:

So what the fuck is the point? Why not lean back for a moment,

Unknown:

tune back into your breath. And then when you're done with this,

Unknown:

you approach your project your problem with a sense of ease and

Unknown:

effortlessness. Big inhale, and exhale. Big inhale

Unknown:

and

Unknown:

exhale.

Unknown:

Another reason to approach things with more ease and

Unknown:

effortlessness is that when people see you struggle in that

Unknown:

mode, they are way more inclined to support you and to be there

Unknown:

for you. Then, if you are in muscle hustle, bite through

Unknown:

mode, that's usually when we push people away reject people,

Unknown:

and people don't even want to be in our energy. So another reason

Unknown:

why it is good to sometimes lean back. Take a breath and see how

Unknown:

you can maybe approach your project. Your problem from a

Unknown:

different angle is many, many angles to every project, a

Unknown:

problem we have. Sometimes we get too caught up on one angle,

Unknown:

and it is good. As I always say to go into birds perspective.

Unknown:

First to observe yourself. And then to see maybe I can work on

Unknown:

a different piece here to advance myself to get things to

Unknown:

bake inhale and exhale. Big inhale And exhale. Sometimes we

Unknown:

can also just let things be for the moment, sometimes there's

Unknown:

things we want to get done right away. And maybe the resistance

Unknown:

to it, the effort we have to bring up to do those tasks is so

Unknown:

big, because the time is not right. Maybe you're supposed to

Unknown:

wait, let go. Don't even engage. If it is that a fight or

Unknown:

resolution you're looking for with a person. Sometimes it is

Unknown:

okay to be silent, and not in a resentful way. But in a wise

Unknown:

way. Beautiful tune back into your breath. Notice the muscles

Unknown:

in your face. Maybe they tend to step again. Relax them. straight

Unknown:

spine without Big Muscle engagement. And if you're laying

Unknown:

down on your mat, just let yourself fully sink into the

Unknown:

ground and enjoy mother's mother's I have to laugh.

Unknown:

Support. Barry. Sometimes when we let things be a solution

Unknown:

comes overnight. You wake up the next morning and your brain is

Unknown:

crisp, you're able to look at it from a different angle. Or you

Unknown:

have someone who offers support. wonders can happen overnight.

Unknown:

Beautiful.

Unknown:

Now if you were laying down, please roll onto your side. And

Unknown:

then come slowly as you want and Ken into an easy seat. And then

Unknown:

bring your hands and to pray a position in front of your heart.

Unknown:

Press your thumbs and to your sternum. Bow your head down. And

Unknown:

now send deep appreciation into your heart. Thank you for taking

Unknown:

that time for yourself. Well that everything will be

Unknown:

accomplished in time. And now we send out this wish and

Unknown:

appreciation to people out there. May we all make decisions

Unknown:

that not only not only serve ourselves, but others may be

Unknown:

maybe we approach problems, obstacles with a relaxed mind

Unknown:

with a confident mind and heart. Namaste. Thank you so much for

Unknown:

listening to the Borealis experience and for being here

Unknown:

with me through that meditation. When I focus in on the breath,

Unknown:

relaxing the muscles around the eyes. I always pick To the

Unknown:

people that I know that I I truly care about and and that I

Unknown:

know they follow my podcasts and it just brings me so much joy.

Unknown:

And then I imagine other people that I don't know yet. And yes,

Unknown:

no that I'm truly grateful to be serving you this way. And I hope

Unknown:

we hear from each other. If we're not connected on Facebook,

Unknown:

add me there, or on Instagram. I would love to know what your

Unknown:

life is like and maybe you have requests or questions. Then I'm

Unknown:

open to answer or insert your requests and my meditations
