Hailey Philpotts
I am the proud mom of two amazing daughters: Madison, 6 years and Makenzie 4, years old. I have been teaching for 15 years and was chosen by my peers as Teacher of the Year for the 2019-2020 school year. I have a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and am currently teaching Prekindergarten. I was chosen to be a part of a Dade County Public Schools Promethean Pilot program in 2016 and then joined the Promethean PEP Squad in 2018. In 2018, I was awarded a 70” moveable ActivPanel which allows the smallest of learners to reach and interact with the board with ease. Students are more engaged and excited to use the ActivPanel interactively and use it as a learning center. I joined Promethean at ISTE and FETC to demonstrate how I use Promethean in the classroom to make learning not just an academic experience but an amazing experience.
