What happened to me this morning as I

began to meditate and journal, I flipped

the page in my journal and on the top

of the page, someone had written a

million dollars and then zero dollars.

It wasn't me.

I'm not sure which one of our seven

kids or one of our six grandkids

wrote this in my journal, but that

was the only thing on that page.

So I just started looking at it, and

I started focusing on the million

dollars and not the zero dollars.

Because I felt like this was a message

from God to me that says , whatever

you focus on becomes your reality.

And I know this to be true.

Whatever I focus on, I get just that.

Lately I've Struggled with a lot of

things that occurred at the end of

2023 and I'd allow those things to

consume my thoughts and I felt slighted

, but I knew that I had to shake it.

I knew that I had to forgive

the person and I did that.

I forgave the person.

I did my whole little forgiveness ritual

and I Allow that thing to just remove

itself from my life and my spirit.

And I thought about it what is

it that your listeners are going

through or have gone through?

And they've allowed it to shake

their faith and to shake their focus.

And I'm telling you to let that go.

Let today be the last day for that mess.

And to turn it into a message, your

message, a story of triumph, your

testimony, and focus on what lies ahead.

Change your thoughts and your

feelings about your future.

The other night I woke up

every hour on the hour and I

asked God the same question.

And at 4 a.

he told me to grab my journal and my pen.

And I began writing uncontrollably.

While I was writing was something

that I couldn't comprehend.

I just started writing it.

I believe he was speaking

to me and I just wrote.

But the one thing that stood out

of everything that I'd written

in my journal was one sentence.

And that sentence was, grab

the mic and start talking.

That sentence rang in my

head for a solid week.

I wrestled with what I was going

to say or, once I grabbed the mic

how was it going to be received?

If what I would say would make any sense.

With anybody listening to me for a

solid week, I wrestled with that.

I combed over topics after topic

going back and forth with ideas and in

all actuality, truthfully, honestly,

can I be real honest with you?

I was avoiding the clear instructions

from God, grab the mic and start talking.

I never came up with a title.

I figured he'd give me a title.

He'd give me the message.

He'd give me whatever it is to say once

I was obedient to his instructions.

So what I'm saying to you today

is that he's not going to give you

step two until you do step one.
