Shownotes

Your body holds wisdom. You've been taught not to listen to it.

Kayla explores muscle testing — a simple practice of holding something and feeling whether your body leans forward (yes) or backward (no). It works. And it's about reclaiming your intuition and sovereignty.

We trust experts over ourselves. But your body knows what's true, what aligns with your soul's path, what to say yes or no to. This is especially important now as we navigate propaganda and noise — your body's wisdom is your discernment tool.

Kayla also shares a personal story: a coach steered her away from something she loved. A year later, she's circling back because it feels true for her. She had to trust her body over expertise.

During this upcoming Gemini New Moon (about living your fullest truth), honing this skill is essential for authenticity and alignment.

In this episode:

  • Muscle testing: a simple body wisdom practice
  • Your body knows yes/no before your mind does
  • Grounding + holding something + feeling the response
  • Yes = forward lean, forward energy push
  • No = backward lean, pulling energy
  • Using this with food, supplements, decisions, anything
  • Why Western doctors will never teach this
  • The need for both Western medicine AND body wisdom
  • Coming back to sovereignty and internal intuition
  • Seeking mentors vs. filtering through your own body
  • Discernment in a propaganda-filled world
  • Political truth-telling: does this feel like truth to me?
  • Your authentic path = listening to what lights you up

Speaker A:

Welcome to Liberation Wisdom.

Speaker A:

I'm Kayla Moore, a sacred feminine priestess in training and guide on the path of walking as love in a world of chaos.

Speaker A:

This podcast is for seekers, healers and anyone who feels the old world crumbling and the new one trying to be born.

Speaker A:

Each episode we explore how to liberate ourselves from patriarchal wounds, weave the divine feminine and divine masculine back into harmony and witness the real tangible evidence of the new earth manifesting through collective consciousness shifts.

Speaker A:

This isn't about bypassing the darkness.

Speaker A:

It's about alchemizing grief and rage into fuel for co creating what comes next.

Speaker A:

We are the light and the love.

Speaker A:

When we choose love and peace internally, we are also sending those vibrations to be mirrored the world around us.

Speaker A:

This is Liberation Wisdom.

Speaker A:

Always choose love.

Speaker A:

Welcome beloveds, back to the Liberation Wisdom podcast.

Speaker A:

I'm Kayla Moore, your host, and I'm here to be a warrior for love and for truth.

Speaker A:

So today I'm gonna keep things hopefully short and sweet.

Speaker A:

We're gonna talk about trusting our bodies, trusting the wisdom that our bodies hold.

Speaker A:

So before we dive into that, of course I still have my announcement around the holy rage circle that I am now going to be holding online this month.

Speaker A:

I'm very excited to invite anyone and everyone.

Speaker A:

This is for all genders.

Speaker A:

It's no longer just for women.

Speaker A:

I really, as you hopefully heard in my intro, I really do have a pillar around weaving the divine feminine and divine masculine back into the fabric of humanity.

Speaker A:

And I think we're starting to have some really interesting conversations between men and women and the gender roles that we have played so long and what we are releasing as a collective and what we are moving towards.

Speaker A:

And so I really want to give this space for anyone or to anyone to be a part of.

Speaker A:

So it's going to be on June 30, which is a Tuesday from 4 to 5:30pm Pacific Daylight Time.

Speaker A:

And we are going to spend 90 minutes really diving into our emotions.

Speaker A:

This is about fully letting go and allowing yourself to experience the full range of emotion that you can feel.

Speaker A:

We focus more heavily on rage and grief, but if any other emotion comes up, that is great.

Speaker A:

They are all welcome.

Speaker A:

And we are going to be starting with doing some grounding.

Speaker A:

I'll be playing some music in the background.

Speaker A:

We'll be grounding.

Speaker A:

I will probably have everyone do just a few minutes of journaling just to kind of get your thoughts out of what's going on inside of you and in your body.

Speaker A:

And then I'm going to be inviting people to come to the forefront to be spotlighted and to just, you know, talk for a couple minutes about what is really on their hearts and be witnessed.

Speaker A:

And this can be anything that's going on.

Speaker A:

Again, I really created this circle mainly around the intensity of what's happening in the world.

Speaker A:

But my life is a mirror right now.

Speaker A:

I don't know if anyone else is a mirror right now, but my life is a mirror for the intensity happening in the world.

Speaker A:

So it could be stuff that you're, you know, focusing on that you see in the news or just around you that feels so heavy on your heart, or it could be something happening in your own life that is also very heavy on your heart.

Speaker A:

So anything and everything is open and to actually step into that vulnerability and be witnessed is huge.

Speaker A:

It is so huge.

Speaker A:

So I really want this to be a safe space.

Speaker A:

We are, we will also be going through agreements ahead of time to make sure that this is a completely confidential space.

Speaker A:

So making sure that the stories that people tell do not go beyond the ears of the people involved is really important.

Speaker A:

And then once people feel witnessed and in my in person circle, I had people do some burning of the things that they were releasing.

Speaker A:

So if you want to do that kind of in your own time, you can, but, you know, online it's a little bit different.

Speaker A:

So that is something that if you have your own burn pot or your own like, burning ritual, you can do that at home.

Speaker A:

And then we will get into the somatics of it and we will move through curated music.

Speaker A:

We will start by really tapping into our grief and feeling our grief fully.

Speaker A:

I will be singing some songs.

Speaker A:

I am doing a drum making workshop this weekend, so I will be making my own drum and we'll have that for the circle.

Speaker A:

So I will be playing my drum that I make and leading you through feeling grief, feeling rage fully.

Speaker A:

And then once we feel those feelings fully, then we are going to create in ourselves joy and pleasure.

Speaker A:

We're not going to stay there.

Speaker A:

We're going to move into joy and pleasure and really feel how it feels to alchemize those emotions into a more positive energy.

Speaker A:

And from that space, then we are going to hold a vision of what we would want the world or your life to look like instead.

Speaker A:

What is the vision that you are holding onto that is getting you through this darkness and what you would like to see on the other side.

Speaker A:

So it's going to be an individual vision, but collectively, we are all going to be casting a vision of what we want to create, what we are co Creating with the universe to bring into existence.

Speaker A:

We will end with a, like, collective community song.

Speaker A:

And then you will be free to walk out back into your life holding a torch of love and light.

Speaker A:

So if that is something that is resonating with you, I so am just, like, from the bottom of my heart, would love to hold space for you and love to see you in that circle.

Speaker A:

So you can go down in the description below and or in the show notes below and get the link to sign up.

Speaker A:

Okay, so we are gonna dive into really trusting in our bodies and understanding what that means.

Speaker A:

So this week, I had a coaching session with my energy healer, also friend.

Speaker A:

And one thing that she reminded me of, I had heard about this, but not in a specific way that she talked about it.

Speaker A:

It is a technique that is called muscle testing.

Speaker A:

And it literally is.

Speaker A:

We talked about it in the context of supplements and, like, the different things that I'm taking.

Speaker A:

If you don't know, I experience a autoimmune disorder.

Speaker A:

And so we were talking about the different supplements that I use and what she could help guide me with in that.

Speaker A:

And she literally said, know, like, hold a bottle of supplements in your hand, stand grounded in yourself, close your eyes, and see how your body reacts to those supplements.

Speaker A:

Is it a yes or is it a no?

Speaker A:

And she said, usually a no for her.

Speaker A:

Feels like your body kind of starts to lean backwards, and if it's a yes, then it starts to lean forwards.

Speaker A:

And that is exactly what happened to me when I tested this.

Speaker A:

It was like, instant.

Speaker A:

It was.

Speaker A:

I held something.

Speaker A:

I held some of my supplements, and I literally.

Speaker A:

I either went backwards or I went forward.

Speaker A:

Some of them I did kind of stay still, or I kind of, like, jostled a little bit back and forth and then kind of, like, found an equilibrium in the middle.

Speaker A:

So I kind of felt like maybe that one's a little bit more neutral.

Speaker A:

Like, it's not quite a yes, not quite a no.

Speaker A:

But for the most part, I was able to really feel.

Speaker A:

And the backwards one, it also feels like the energy is, like tugging back on me.

Speaker A:

Like, I feel it behind me and that it's like, pulling me back.

Speaker A:

And the way that I feel, the leaning forward part is like the energy is actually, like, pushing me forward.

Speaker A:

So it just reminded me how amazing our bodies really are.

Speaker A:

And just crazy.

Speaker A:

Like, there is no western medicine doctor that would ever tell you, go hold your supplements and test whether or not your body actually wants to have them, or go test your prescription medicines and ask your body if it actually feels like it needs it or not.

Speaker A:

No Western doctor is ever going to tell you that.

Speaker A:

And I just think, yes, we need.

Speaker A:

I personally believe we need both Western medicine and Eastern practices.

Speaker A:

And this doesn't just go in the space of our health and like, medicalized issues.

Speaker A:

You could really use this with anything, with food.

Speaker A:

I've been using it a little bit with food too.

Speaker A:

Of like, does my body want this?

Speaker A:

Does it not want this?

Speaker A:

I tend to be pretty in tune with what feels good once I already eat it.

Speaker A:

But I was like, hmm, maybe I should, like, hold onto something and test whether my body wants this or not.

Speaker A:

And so it's just very cool and interesting to listen to your body in that way.

Speaker A:

And I've heard variations of this of like asking yourself a yes or a no about a specific, like, decision or choice that you are making.

Speaker A:

And so I have tended to feel it more somatically of like a yes feels like just complete release and relaxation in my body and like a kind of like an emptiness, like a.

Speaker A:

Like everything is just kind of released.

Speaker A:

And a no is like a tightening and a tensing and kind of that, like, anxiety, yucky feeling.

Speaker A:

So I've done that before, but I didn't realize that I could actually pick up something and sway back and forth of whether it was a yes or a no.

Speaker A:

So I just think that that's so interesting in really this whole year.

Speaker A:

And a lot of what we are doing in terms of spirituality and growing in our consciousness is coming back to ourselves, coming back to our internal intuition, coming back to our sovereignty, coming back to knowing that our bodies are actually very wise and we have been actively taught to not listen to them and to trust someone else's wisdom outside of.

Speaker A:

That's outside of our bodies, that is not actually part of our body and cannot feel what's inside of our body.

Speaker A:

But through testing, they're the ones that are telling us what is happening within our bodies.

Speaker A:

And again, there's definitely a place for that.

Speaker A:

I don't think we should just completely shun Western medicine, but I do think that we need to get back to really feeling into what does my body say?

Speaker A:

And again, there's so many ways that this could come up.

Speaker A:

I had talked about in my newsletter how I had an experience with that in coaching where I'd gotten really excited about something and a business coach had steered me away from that just due to the circumstances that I had and what I was asking for at the time, that she thought that going a different direction would be better in, you know, in the Beginning of me doing what I was doing and coming full circle now and coming back to that exact same thing that I got really excited about, I'm like, this is it.

Speaker A:

Even if it's not the path that somebody else would take, this is what is true for me, and I have to listen to that.

Speaker A:

So I just think it's so important for us to not always be seeking the wisdom of someone else.

Speaker A:

The wisdom of the mentor, the wisdom of the expert.

Speaker A:

And that doesn't mean that learning from people is not important.

Speaker A:

Of course.

Speaker A:

We're always learning, and it's great to find mentors and people that are maybe one or two or three steps ahead of you, but always taking what they say through a filter of what is best for me.

Speaker A:

And a lot of the people that I listen to, especially, like tarot card readers or people that are doing, like, oracle stuff, it's always like, you know, take what resonates, leave the rest.

Speaker A:

It's really important to always have the filter of, how does this land in my body?

Speaker A:

How am I feeling around this information?

Speaker A:

Does this feel true for me?

Speaker A:

And does this, like, resonate?

Speaker A:

Does it make sense?

Speaker A:

Does it align with me?

Speaker A:

And I definitely think in a political sense, as we get more and more inundated with propaganda and what other people are trying to curate for us to believe and the reality that they want us to understand.

Speaker A:

Honing this skill is so important for having discernment and understanding what is, what is a lie and what is truth and what feels good to me, what feels like this makes sense.

Speaker A:

This is true for me, and what feels like this is a lie.

Speaker A:

This doesn't actually sit well with me and feels like I'm.

Speaker A:

This isn't in the highest truth for everyone.

Speaker A:

So honing this skill, listening to your body's wisdom, is so important in all different aspects of life.

Speaker A:

It is what's gonna lead you toward your soul's path.

Speaker A:

Listening to the things that light you up and experiencing what your body feels like.

Speaker A:

When something is actually like, oh, this actually brings me joy, and this actually feels like something I would be really interested in versus doing something out of obligation.

Speaker A:

All of these tools are right here.

Speaker A:

They're right here in our body.

Speaker A:

And it's just been a long time since we've actually closed our eyes, really sat with ourselves and listened.

Speaker A:

So I invite you on this new moon coming up in Gemini this weekend to sit with your body, sit with what feels good, what doesn't feel good.

Speaker A:

A lot of this new moon, too, is around, how do we live our fullest, truest truth.

Speaker A:

How do we be our full, authentic self?

Speaker A:

And being able to tune into our bodies and really listen to what's going on inside of us tends to be the first step in really understanding that to really being able to live our authentic life and live an aligned path.

Speaker A:

So I I invite you to test out the muscle test to hold something in your hand and see how your body responds to it and to not dismiss that and be curious.

Speaker A:

Be curious about what wisdom your body holds.

Speaker A:

All right, I am going to leave it there.

Speaker A:

Thank you all so much for listening.

Speaker A:

I so appreciate anyone that is here with me week in, week out.
