A recent email newsletter in my inbox stopped me cold at the keyboard: "if you have multiple priorities, you don't really have any priorities at all."
Woah. Sit with that like I did.
So why do we keep doing it anyway? Piling everything on as "the priority" — content, tech, health, family — until our brains just... implode.
This one's about finding the happy medium. Using two actual road trips (one where I stuck to the plan, one where we found Skyline Drive and happily blew it up) to talk about knowing your rough direction without booking every hotel from your driveway.
Plus: the flip side nobody talks about — what happens when you over-plan instead. Planning happy, shiny, pastel kitten-themed sales posts from way back in sunny spring, could be landing and living in a fall season that's full of more than the usual pumpkins and ghouls.
And a simple now/next/someday system to help you land on the one thing that's actually the priority — not ten things wearing the same label. Remember that old saying of "if everything is urgent, nothing is."
