As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to have an open conversation about mental health and how it can impact your life, especially as a product boss. We want you to know that there shouldn't be any stigma around discussing mental health which is why we believe this conversation is so important. We all struggle with it, so remember that you aren't alone and that it's okay to ask for help!
Your biggest assets as an entrepreneur are your mind and your health. This means that your mental health is extremely important, both personally and professionally, and yet oftentimes we feel afraid to talk about it. As a society, we are starting to see mental health being talked about more… but it’s only through honest discussions like this one that we can keep making progress together.
We’ve all been through a lot of crises recently – both personally and shared thanks to the pandemic and other world events. That’s why we feel that this episode is so important. Listen to hear our personal struggles with mental health and what you can do to help keep yourself mentally healthy. Remember that pristine mental health is very rare and it shouldn't be stigmatized if you need to ask for help!
