George Manolov is the Bitcoin Director at Botev Plovdiv, Bulgaria's oldest football team. In this role, he is focused on grassroots Bitcoin adoption. Over the past 9 years, George has led business development for industry-defining fintech and crypto products. A short summary: 2014: built and invested in tech startups; 2017: discovered crypto; 2018: joined Nexo and led biz dev; 2020: published The Bitcoin Standard in Bulgarian; 2022: became obsessed with bitcoin; 2023, April: launched BitcoinReady.me and the Bitcoin Masterclass; 2023, Sept: Joined Botev Plovdiv, the oldest Bulgarian football team to lead its adoption of Bitcoin.
