Today's guest, Richard Hawkins from Osaka. Podcasting has connected me with interesting people, and each episode is a rare discovery. Richardis a loyal podcast fan who agreed to this impromptu episode, and his 20 years in Japan are indeed a whirlwind of exciting encounters and events. Our paths have nearly crossed several times; he was a training manager at TAC in the early 1990s! Richard started a tour guiding business and thrived until COVID shut it down. He is giving back by helping others and is embarking on a philanthropic endeavor: a facility to provide meals for latchkey children in his neighborhood.
