Starting a business from scratch is a daunting task at the best of times, but for writer, author and entrepreneur Elissa Corrigan, the pressure was increased ten-fold when she encountered legal issues, supply chain problems and gendered biases within the digital realm. Nevertheless, it hasn’t stopped her from achieving success with her supplement business Ella Sera.

In this podcast, the award winning businesswoman talks openly and honestly about why she was inspired to start her own business, the unexpected legal issues she’s faced in doing so, and why social media’s gendered biases have prevented her from marketing a product that helps with the menopause.
