“I love talking about rewiring your belief systems because, you know, your beliefs create your choices and your choices, you create your actions, and your actions create your reality,” says Kirsty Pratt—holistic coach, Ninja Warrior, and former Catholic schoolgirl—on this episode of Mental Health in a Modern World. Kirsty’s journey from being shaped by the rigid expectations of her upbringing to consciously liberating herself from inherited patterns is just the beginning.

A longtime collaborator with Paul Chek, Kirsty unpacks how her intuition flourishes in nature, why the “visionary” archetype defines her approach to life, and how struggles with people-pleasing and burnout became springboards for authentic growth. She reveals what it takes to honor boundaries, live from intuition, and shed the limiting beliefs we rarely realize we carry.

Tune in for an inspiring deep dive into self-mastery, archetypes, and the powerful intersection of creativity, discipline, and spiritual liberation—a roadmap for anyone seeking sovereignty in a modern world.

5 Key Takeaways

Unlock your self-mastery and growth by exploring your archetypes and bringing conscious awareness to your patterns—here are five actionable takeaways to start your journey:

  1. Identify and work with one archetype each month, using the archetype wheel as a blueprint for personal growth and self-reflection
  2. Pay special attention to your “survival archetypes” (prostitute, victim, saboteur, and child archetypes), as these reveal areas with the greatest potential for healing and transformation.
  3. Practice saying “no” and setting clear boundaries in your communication and relationships to honor your authentic needs and avoid people-pleasing patterns.
  4. Balance active seeking and productivity with rest and integration, especially when you notice signs of burnout—use nature as a tool to recenter and restore yourself.
  5. Open yourself to receiving support—from others and the universe—instead of trying to do everything alone; asking for help is a strength, not a weakness.

Take action today: Choose one takeaway, implement it for a week, and notice what shifts in your mindset and life.

Memorable Quotes

"I love talking about rewiring your belief systems because your beliefs create your choices, your choices create your actions, and your actions create your reality."
"When I went through my quarter life crisis and really started spending time with myself and learning to love aspects of myself that I really hated, I realized how needed alone time is in my world, because without it, I am just out of balance."
"I've gotten really familiar with what is a healthy balance between doing the seeking, the learning, and the experiencing versus the resting. It's about enjoying the journey, reminding myself that there's not just a destination."

Speaker:

I love talking about rewiring

Speaker:

your belief systems because you know, your beliefs

Speaker:

create your choices and your choices, you create

Speaker:

your actions, and your actions create your reality. And so it's interesting

Speaker:

with that being so deep in the spirituality, because those

Speaker:

deep beliefs that I was

Speaker:

indoctrinated into at a young age. Right.

Speaker:

Definitely did not create the re up that I wanted. In a

Speaker:

world moving faster than our minds were designed to handle, mental health is becoming

Speaker:

one of the defining challenges of our time. Welcome to Mental Health in a

Speaker:

Modern World with holistic health practitioner Greg Schmouse.

Speaker:

After overcoming severe anxiety and OCD in his own life,

Speaker:

Greg dedicated the past decade to helping others heal through a fully

Speaker:

integrated approach to mental health, combining lifestyle coaching,

Speaker:

psycho emotional healing, mindfulness, and archetypal work.

Speaker:

Over the years, he's facilitated thousands of sessions guiding people back to

Speaker:

peace, clarity, and a deeper connection with themselves.

Speaker:

Each week, Greg shares powerful solo insights, conversations with

Speaker:

leading voices in holistic healing, and immersive life coaching sessions that

Speaker:

take you inside the healing process itself. New episodes every

Speaker:

Friday follow the show and start reclaiming sovereignty over your mind

Speaker:

in a modern world. Here's Greg. Kirsty, welcome to the podcast.

Speaker:

Thank you, Greg. I'm so excited to be here. Anytime I get to hang out

Speaker:

with you is. Yeah. It's just amazing. Yeah. And we've been wanting to do

Speaker:

your archetype wheel for a while now. And so I reached out to you.

Speaker:

I'm like, I have the perfect opportunity, and you obviously took

Speaker:

me up on it. That's such a blessing. I'm like, score. Look at how the

Speaker:

universe provides. Yeah. So for

Speaker:

those of you listening, the archetype wheel

Speaker:

is a wheel that contains the 12 astrological houses,

Speaker:

and each of those houses correlates with a key area of your life.

Speaker:

And so the process that I took Kirstie through was we

Speaker:

determined the 12 core archetypes that she's working with in

Speaker:

this lifetime, four of them being the survival archetypes which

Speaker:

we'll get into, and then eight other archetypes that vary person

Speaker:

to person based on our unique path. And

Speaker:

so then I took Kirstie through a process of casting the wheel, which

Speaker:

you end up with one archetype in each house, which really

Speaker:

shines light on some of the key patterns and you could say,

Speaker:

contracts that we have in some of these key areas

Speaker:

of our life. So, Chris, I'd love to hear what that process was like

Speaker:

for you just to start, and then we'll dive into your wheel itself.

Speaker:

Yeah. You know, one thing that I love about this is I've gotten into

Speaker:

archetypes, but this, this was completely

Speaker:

different than how I've ever approached archetypes

Speaker:

before. And so what was really neat is starting off with

Speaker:

all of the deck of the cards and going through each archetype and as

Speaker:

you kind of explained what they are, and you could easily

Speaker:

have that mirror reflection and going, oh,

Speaker:

that one's, that one's heavy in me. And, and granted,

Speaker:

all of them, I saw aspects in me,

Speaker:

but there were ones where I'm like, ah, not so much. And others that were

Speaker:

like, yes, I can just feel it. And so it was really neat

Speaker:

starting this process by starting to really

Speaker:

hone in and being like, oh, yeah, I see where this archetype plays out. And

Speaker:

I see where this archetype plays out. I don't want to say the archetypes yet.

Speaker:

I don't want to. I don't want to spoil the wheel of which ones, which

Speaker:

ones were chosen. But it was really neat pulling those. And then

Speaker:

what I loved once, once we got through

Speaker:

those eight, and then picking the

Speaker:

child archetype was a very interesting, because

Speaker:

in my archetype work, I've never done more than just

Speaker:

the child archetype. I've never looked at, you know, the wounded, the

Speaker:

orphan, the nature, you know, the divine child. I've never

Speaker:

looked at any of those. And so that process was really

Speaker:

neat going through and, and as we laid them out

Speaker:

and you intuitively, you know, were like, we set the

Speaker:

stage and I picked each one, it was kind of like this smirk

Speaker:

just came over my face and seeing where

Speaker:

different ones landed in each house. And I'm really

Speaker:

looking forward to seeing today

Speaker:

how it goes much deeper than what we've already done. But

Speaker:

it was a fantastic, fantastic

Speaker:

experience. And especially for those who are into archetypes and know it,

Speaker:

and even for those who are, like, don't know it, I, I

Speaker:

even too, you didn't know Michael was like, across the room, there were a few

Speaker:

archetypes. And he goes, yep, that's you.

Speaker:

That's awesome. Yeah. So it was, it was a neat experience,

Speaker:

for sure. Yeah, very cool, Very cool. And so what

Speaker:

we're going to do in this episode is we're going to go through Kirstie's wheel.

Speaker:

Just like if I were giving a client a reading. We're going to

Speaker:

explore Kirstie's wheel, Kirsty's going to get a reading, and then you guys will

Speaker:

get a little insight into what it's like to cast your

Speaker:

wheel and to go through it like we're going to do today. So,

Speaker:

Christie, ready to dive into the first house? I will and I will

Speaker:

preface, we've gone over absolutely

Speaker:

nothing together, so I am getting this spoiler

Speaker:

just when you guys are getting it too. So it'll be very

Speaker:

interesting. Yeah. Yes, I'm ready. So Kirstie

Speaker:

has received no reading in terms of her wheel yet.

Speaker:

And I have not really looked at it other than when we casted it

Speaker:

because I like to read it intuitively and feels the most authentic.

Speaker:

So I'm basically looking at it with beginner's mind as well.

Speaker:

So if we start with house number one, House number

Speaker:

one represents your ego and personality. So this

Speaker:

really represents who you are. So when

Speaker:

Kirsty asks herself, who am I? It's a

Speaker:

visionary. Right. So the archetype that

Speaker:

most correlates with your sense of self

Speaker:

and your sense of identity is the visionary

Speaker:

archetype, which is your capacity to see the unseen, to be an

Speaker:

innovator and to have like big

Speaker:

picture view. That makes so much sense.

Speaker:

Correlating it to numerous aspects in my life.

Speaker:

Yeah, I'd love to hear any initial feedback on that.

Speaker:

Yeah, you know, there's one, one

Speaker:

thing that Michael has always said and it's, it's very interesting

Speaker:

and for those who don't know, I'm just saying this random guy's name, Michael is

Speaker:

my partner. Is. He always has said, when you set

Speaker:

your mind to something, nothing's going to get in your way

Speaker:

of stopping. And I was like, oh really? And then I took a

Speaker:

reflection of my life and seeing once

Speaker:

that vision gets there or even if

Speaker:

someone thinks that there's nothing there. And I'm like, no, we

Speaker:

have this and we have this and we have this that we can do in

Speaker:

this space. Really plays a big thing. And so, you know,

Speaker:

a big thing is, is my past of Ninja warrior having the

Speaker:

vision of being a high

Speaker:

performing athlete and turning that into

Speaker:

a reality. You know, most people when they look at that, they're like, no, that's

Speaker:

not possible. Or that can't do that. And I'm like, yeah, why not? And

Speaker:

even, you know, becoming, I would say

Speaker:

family with, with the checks. You know,

Speaker:

before we even like, I met him once and

Speaker:

Michael and I, we were like, oh yeah, we're going to be really good friends

Speaker:

with the Czechs. And literally, you know, we're, we're great,

Speaker:

we're great friends and even family with the Czechs. And so I would

Speaker:

say things that I pursue in life

Speaker:

and even where we're at now in Canada and now

Speaker:

going for permanent residency and deciding that we wanted to do that.

Speaker:

Having that vision of doing things in my life that most people

Speaker:

look at my life and they go, oh, that's a little crazy.

Speaker:

And that's just kind of normal for me.

Speaker:

Yeah. You know, it's funny because when you were sharing

Speaker:

about the American Ninja Warrior look across

Speaker:

from your visionary. Oh, it is the warrior.

Speaker:

Yeah. Yeah. So the archetypes that are across from each other have a

Speaker:

unique relationship. They kind of like feed off of each other and they work

Speaker:

with one another. And so the. The

Speaker:

warrior sitting across from the visionary says that there's

Speaker:

a relationship between those two archetypes where the visionary sees the

Speaker:

vision and then the warrior is like the strength, courage,

Speaker:

discipline to follow it and take action on it. Does

Speaker:

that make sense? Yeah, 100%. And a lot of the things

Speaker:

that I have accomplished in, you know, personal life or

Speaker:

personal goals or business goals have really taken

Speaker:

a lot of discipline. And I can see

Speaker:

how that warrior archetype helped

Speaker:

with that foundation of the visionary. Very interesting.

Speaker:

Yeah. So if you just have the visionary without the warrior, it

Speaker:

just stays a vision. But when you have the visionary and then the warrior

Speaker:

taking action, then it becomes a reality.

Speaker:

That's neat. Very cool. The other thing that I'll share, because whenever

Speaker:

I'm looking at the wheel, I'm seeing it multi dimensionally. I'm not just looking at

Speaker:

the isolated houses. So

Speaker:

you see the nature child in the 12th house behind it.

Speaker:

The 12th house is your unconscious,

Speaker:

and the first house being the ego personality, is your conscious mind.

Speaker:

So imagine you're driving a car. The

Speaker:

conscious mind is in the driver's seat. The unconscious is the backseat driver.

Speaker:

You have the visionary in the driver's seat, and the nature child is the backseat

Speaker:

driver. And so what this tells me is that a lot

Speaker:

of your vision and intuition comes through spending time in

Speaker:

nature. That's exactly what it is. Yeah.

Speaker:

Anytime I'm overwhelmed too, I go, I'm just. I'm just gonna go

Speaker:

lay, lay in nature. And it's. Things will just completely

Speaker:

funnel out and. Yeah. And. And funnel in. Or I'll

Speaker:

just, you know, it's like people get ideas in the shower. I get ideas

Speaker:

when I'm literally just walking in the woods. Yeah,

Speaker:

interesting. Yeah. So nature is really kind of like the.

Speaker:

The source of clarity for the visionary. And then

Speaker:

the last thing I'll say is one of my mentors many years ago,

Speaker:

you know, she said, every teacher, like, say, in this

Speaker:

space is on some level,

Speaker:

either Like a teacher of the past, a teacher of the present, or a teacher

Speaker:

of the future. And they all have value.

Speaker:

For example, if we take our

Speaker:

mutual teacher, Paul, Check. I see

Speaker:

Paul. And hey, Paul, if you're listening to this, love you.

Speaker:

I hope you don't mind me sharing this. I see Paul as a teacher of

Speaker:

the past. And what that means is a teacher of the past,

Speaker:

it's almost like they carry this library of

Speaker:

thousands of years of wisdom inside of them.

Speaker:

Like, when you look into their eyes, it's just like this eternity

Speaker:

of wisdom from the past that they're carrying, and they're

Speaker:

bringing it into the present to help people remember.

Speaker:

Like, remember, oh, yeah, this is how I'm supposed to eat. This is how I'm

Speaker:

supposed to move. This is how I'm supposed to read. This is how I'm supposed

Speaker:

to feel, right? So to me, Paul is very much

Speaker:

an incredible teacher of the past, carrying

Speaker:

wisdom of thousands of years of history into the present

Speaker:

moment to help people remember. Now,

Speaker:

if we take a teacher of the present,

Speaker:

like in Eckhart Tolle, the Power of now, it's a

Speaker:

teacher of the present, right? Aram Dass is a teacher of the

Speaker:

present. I, for myself, identify as a teacher of the present,

Speaker:

which is why, for example, like, when I'm coaching someone or even on this

Speaker:

podcast, I don't prepare anything because I want to

Speaker:

speak to what's happening in this moment.

Speaker:

The visionary is a teacher of the future.

Speaker:

Of, like, this is what I see, this is what I envision, this is what

Speaker:

I anticipate. Right? So a

Speaker:

visionary is usually someone who is able to

Speaker:

see into the future, come back,

Speaker:

and then know how to take steps towards that reality.

Speaker:

I'm curious how that lands for you. Yeah,

Speaker:

a lot. Especially too, with. With. I'm glad that you

Speaker:

use Paul as an example, because I think that that is why

Speaker:

me and him do work really well together, right?

Speaker:

Because he has all this wisdom and experience in this.

Speaker:

And I'm like, we can do this. We can go this way.

Speaker:

This is what's missing. This is what we need to do. And this is what's

Speaker:

really going to help get this out there or share this or

Speaker:

people are going to get the best results with this. And I can see

Speaker:

that aspect in numerous ways that

Speaker:

I've coached people where they're like, I don't understand how to get there. And

Speaker:

I'm like, it's easy. We just need to do this, this. And they're like, oh,

Speaker:

I never thought about that. Which is very interesting. It's very analytical for

Speaker:

me. Even though it's very visionary in, in the future, it's very

Speaker:

analytical for me and how to get there. It's

Speaker:

usually intuitive. The vision comes

Speaker:

intuitively and then it, and then it goes analytically

Speaker:

of how we're going to pursue it. And so I

Speaker:

can see that in numerous areas and even

Speaker:

in my own goals and something as

Speaker:

simple as, you know, I want it to put on more

Speaker:

muscle over the past year. And I was like, okay,

Speaker:

these are the steps. I see it, this is what it is, this is how

Speaker:

it is. And so it doesn't. It's not always just giant life

Speaker:

things. With the work that I do with Paul, the work that I do with

Speaker:

my business or clients, I see it in even very

Speaker:

mundane, simple things of reaching my goals

Speaker:

with fitness or reaching my goals with being

Speaker:

more centered in myself. And as you, you

Speaker:

shared that too. You know, Michael and I, we,

Speaker:

we recently have gone through a beautiful

Speaker:

growth and transformation time in our life, which has really

Speaker:

encouraged me to be more

Speaker:

centered. And I can see how the visionary,

Speaker:

as soon as, as soon as we were going through it, and I'm like, I'm

Speaker:

using these tools to stay centered and through, you know,

Speaker:

through the storm. I'm like, okay, next time we go through this,

Speaker:

this is what I need to do more of. And then, and then we went

Speaker:

through another round of it and I, and I had that plan because I had

Speaker:

that visionary with it. And I go, this is all I need to do. This

Speaker:

is going to help me stay centered in the chaos and the growth and

Speaker:

the challenges. And so I very much see it on a, on a macro scale,

Speaker:

scale in my life and on a micro scale in my life, which is very

Speaker:

cool. Which is very beautiful. Beautiful.

Speaker:

So if we jump to House two. So you see House two

Speaker:

relates to your life values. So the

Speaker:

second House relates to your value system. It relates

Speaker:

to your material values like your finances, your

Speaker:

resources, the things that you claim ownership

Speaker:

of. And it also relates to

Speaker:

your sense of how you value yourself, like your self esteem,

Speaker:

your self worth, and so your own

Speaker:

intrinsic sense of value and what I have to offer

Speaker:

the world. So what I have and what I have

Speaker:

to offer, that's where a lot of our sense of value comes from.

Speaker:

And so you have the Midas there. And so the Midas

Speaker:

is very abundant. It's very creative. It's.

Speaker:

The Midas is very much an archetype of manifestation.

Speaker:

And so what this tells me is

Speaker:

the Midas and that creative spark

Speaker:

and that desire to manifest is where you derive

Speaker:

value from. Like, I value myself as a creator.

Speaker:

Like the visionary has the vision in the first house. And then Midas is like,

Speaker:

okay, now I'm going to bur birth that into

Speaker:

something of value. Right. So like when you

Speaker:

were sharing about how you bring that energy to Paul,

Speaker:

that's actually a lot of the Midas too. Of like, I see

Speaker:

how we could take that idea or that wisdom or that knowledge or that vision

Speaker:

and turn it into. And create it into this, which is now

Speaker:

of real value. Yeah, it's interesting that you

Speaker:

say that too, because as you're sharing that, I see both, both

Speaker:

the ways that I've positively

Speaker:

done that in my life. And I. I would say I

Speaker:

really feel like over these last three,

Speaker:

four years, I've really been finding that stride in

Speaker:

honing that gift in a way and that

Speaker:

archetype in a way that it's like literally when we just moved, I was like,

Speaker:

look at what we manifested. We got everything we asked

Speaker:

for and a lot more in, in holding

Speaker:

the vision. And it's interesting of what you said with the

Speaker:

visionary, of how the warrior was across from, from it, the

Speaker:

saboteur is across from, from the Midas. And I can

Speaker:

see how reflecting on things in

Speaker:

my past where

Speaker:

I let or chose a mindset

Speaker:

to manifest and focus on more of what I didn't want

Speaker:

to then create a reality that I didn't want. And

Speaker:

so I can see how those are kind of

Speaker:

intertwined and I can see how stepping into that archetype very

Speaker:

positively in my

Speaker:

life has, has changed a lot of things because that is one thing that I

Speaker:

do value. I'm like, yeah, well, I'm such a good manifest. Yeah,

Speaker:

well, like you said, there's a light and shadow side to all the archetypes. So

Speaker:

the shadow side also in the second house would be when the Midas

Speaker:

only values itself based on what it creates.

Speaker:

Where, for example, like if I'm in a

Speaker:

phase of rest or a phase of more

Speaker:

introspection or a phase of not as much output,

Speaker:

like, how much does that take, take a hit on my self worth?

Speaker:

Do I still feel good, worthy,

Speaker:

esteem and value within myself when I'm

Speaker:

resting and taking a day off or a week off versus

Speaker:

when I'm pumping out and creating and manifesting in the world?

Speaker:

Yeah, I'm laughing because that, it's. That's like hitting the nail

Speaker:

on the head of, of a place where I've chosen to do

Speaker:

a lot of work because resting was

Speaker:

really hard for me, validating myself on What I

Speaker:

was creating was a big thing, validating myself on how

Speaker:

much money I was making. And it's been

Speaker:

a lot of work towards that to

Speaker:

allow myself to just sink into the

Speaker:

resting. And I have found nature

Speaker:

usually helps that. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker:

So I mean, you're hitting the nail on the head

Speaker:

with that. And it's really neat to see both of these aspects in my life

Speaker:

of how they're playing out and how they just

Speaker:

intuitively were chosen in this house but

Speaker:

have been there all along. Yeah, absolutely. And I'll

Speaker:

share more about the opposition of the Midas and the Saboteur once

Speaker:

we get to the eighth house. Yeah, so I'll save that because there's

Speaker:

more there. So if we jump to the third

Speaker:

house. The third house is the

Speaker:

house of communication, the house of perception

Speaker:

and how you perceive and interact with the world.

Speaker:

Right. So this is where you have your first survival archetype, which is the

Speaker:

prostitute. And the prostitute always relates

Speaker:

to our sense of value and integrity.

Speaker:

Right. And one of the things that the prostitute often does

Speaker:

is the prostitutes often trying

Speaker:

to guarantee something. Yeah,

Speaker:

Right. So I'm trying to guarantee security. I'm trying to

Speaker:

guarantee that I'll be liked by this person.

Speaker:

So if you look at it in the house of communication,

Speaker:

the prostitute could be, for example, like a little bit of like a

Speaker:

people pleaser or like a.

Speaker:

A yes girl. Right. Like the prostitute in the

Speaker:

third house might have a hard time saying no. You know, it's

Speaker:

interesting that when, when we first did this and I saw

Speaker:

that in there instantly I was thinking things of

Speaker:

my childhood, I would say anything I needed to say

Speaker:

to be, you know, liked by the group, you know,

Speaker:

to prostitute myself, to be accepted

Speaker:

and a hundred percent.

Speaker:

And it took a while before being

Speaker:

confident in who I am and what I bring

Speaker:

to the table and that my people will just find me by being

Speaker:

me. And so very much a

Speaker:

yes, a yes woman, very much

Speaker:

I want them to like me. So I'm going to hold back my

Speaker:

truth even if I'm uncomfortable. For sure,

Speaker:

100%. Yeah. So the key in the third house is how

Speaker:

my desire to guarantee something impacts

Speaker:

my self expression. Right.

Speaker:

And you know how like Paul says, your yes has no value

Speaker:

until you learn to say no. That's a big lesson for the prostitute in the

Speaker:

third house because the prostitute doesn't value its

Speaker:

no. The prostitute is always like, I am available

Speaker:

for whoever, whenever. And

Speaker:

so that's a big theme with the prostitute is really the

Speaker:

valuing of your yeses and no's. I Would. I would

Speaker:

also say to.

Speaker:

There was a difference in my life when you say valuing of

Speaker:

actually implementing it. You know what I mean? And not just writing it on the

Speaker:

paper of like, no, I won't do this or no, I

Speaker:

won't stand for that type of dynamic or friendship or business partnership

Speaker:

or client or whatever versus actually

Speaker:

saying no. Yeah, yeah,

Speaker:

yeah. So that, that resonates with you in the third house.

Speaker:

100%. Oh my goodness. Yeah. And, and again, it's something

Speaker:

to. I would say with that again,

Speaker:

there's been a lot of work and around.

Speaker:

What do my boundaries look like? What authentically feels good for me? Because

Speaker:

the, the thing that would go through my head is, well, if I

Speaker:

say this, what are, what are they going to say? Are

Speaker:

they going to be, you know, are they going to be offended? Are they going

Speaker:

to think this? Are they going to think that? And it's like, like

Speaker:

it's okay. And it would be on simple things and, you know,

Speaker:

big business things. And it's like, no, it's, it's, it's okay

Speaker:

to, to put a boundary. And so I would say learning

Speaker:

from my experiences and sometimes I've learned them the lesson

Speaker:

numerous, numerous, numerous times before

Speaker:

choosing to be like, oh, this isn't, this isn't working for me. This doesn't feel

Speaker:

good for me anymore. I don't like, I don't like being the prostitute

Speaker:

in this. And radically getting clear

Speaker:

on my. No. And standing firm with it even when it's

Speaker:

uncomfortable having that sweaty palm conversation.

Speaker:

Yeah. It's so funny. These three so far, it's like

Speaker:

nailing everything right on the head

Speaker:

of aspects of me. Yeah. Yeah. Awesome.

Speaker:

So if we go to the fourth house, the fourth house relates to home and

Speaker:

family life. So that's home and family of origin and

Speaker:

current home and family life. So the guide

Speaker:

in the fourth house, the first thing would be. I'm curious

Speaker:

if, if you ever find yourself wanting

Speaker:

to guide family members. Oh, yeah.

Speaker:

When I first started getting into this, I would

Speaker:

say it was probably more the negative,

Speaker:

negative sense of the guide. And I learned that I.

Speaker:

Much more desire of taking that backseat. And, and

Speaker:

they know what I do, so when they want support and help, they'll come to

Speaker:

me. And they do now, which is funny. But it is very much

Speaker:

a. Yeah, A lot of my family

Speaker:

will come to me. Yeah. Yeah. In that. And the, the

Speaker:

evolution of that, like you said, is kind of like, you know, allowing them to

Speaker:

come to you but not like projecting. It's a lot of the influence

Speaker:

of the hermit across from it

Speaker:

is the hermit kind of like stays in his or her own domain.

Speaker:

And yeah, people come to the hermit for guidance, but the

Speaker:

hermit doesn't go chasing, you know, doesn't go

Speaker:

controlling. It doesn't go trying to micromanage.

Speaker:

So that's always the shadow side of the guide is trying to micromanage people's

Speaker:

journey rather than just letting them have their journey and

Speaker:

they'll come to you for guidance when they need it. Yeah. So the

Speaker:

guide really shows up in home and family life.

Speaker:

And there's a few other almost like,

Speaker:

deeper aspects of it, which is the

Speaker:

fourth house represents where home is.

Speaker:

And so you could say part of your work as a guide

Speaker:

is guiding people back home to themselves. And literally it's

Speaker:

something that I repeat constantly to

Speaker:

clients. And even, you know, if a friend's asking me for

Speaker:

advice or anything like that. Like, this is, this is my opinion. But

Speaker:

you're gonna, you're gonna know what's best for you. Like, deep down,

Speaker:

you're gonna know what's best for you. So even though this, if, if I was

Speaker:

in this situation, this is how I would handle it. That's coming from my perspective

Speaker:

and my experience. Only Greg's going to know, you know,

Speaker:

what to do in this situation, only you're going to know what to do in

Speaker:

this situation. And it's always coming back to, how

Speaker:

do you feel, what's going on you know best. Right. And

Speaker:

teaching them how to. How to feel that. Yeah.

Speaker:

And the guide being at home, like we said, guiding people back home to themselves,

Speaker:

and then the hermit across from it is guiding people

Speaker:

inward, not telling people what to do, but guiding

Speaker:

people back to their own inner guidance system. Yeah.

Speaker:

And then the last piece, the.

Speaker:

The fourth house, because it's our home and family of

Speaker:

origin, it's where our parents reside.

Speaker:

And so part of the work with the guide, which the guide is a lot

Speaker:

about, intuition is,

Speaker:

number one, being a guide for someone. Don't be a parent for them, but be

Speaker:

a guide for them. There's a lot of people looking for guidance or

Speaker:

looking for a parent to tell them what to do, which

Speaker:

Paul talks a lot about that. But also one

Speaker:

of the things that interferes

Speaker:

with our inner guidance system is the voices

Speaker:

of our mother and father inside of us.

Speaker:

So, you know, Carl Jung talks about the process of individuation,

Speaker:

which is the process of differentiating from mom and dad

Speaker:

so you can access your own inner guidance system. And

Speaker:

so that whole process of clearing out the.

Speaker:

The shadow or unconscious imprints of mom

Speaker:

and dad allows the guide to really become clearer

Speaker:

and clearer and clearer. Does that make sense? A hundred percent.

Speaker:

Yeah. Especially like I said the other day, this came

Speaker:

right at that perfect time as I'm diving deeper into the shadow

Speaker:

work of the imago DEI and the mother and the father

Speaker:

archetypes and, and, and how they play out. So it's very

Speaker:

relevant. Yeah, yeah. Beautiful.

Speaker:

So now we'll jump over to the fifth house,

Speaker:

which the fifth house relates to your sense of joy,

Speaker:

creativity, sexuality.

Speaker:

The fifth house goes back to childhood. It's

Speaker:

really our house of, like, play, fun, creative expression.

Speaker:

On a deeper level, the fifth house also is where we discover our

Speaker:

gifts. And so with the victim in

Speaker:

the fifth house, Whenever we see the victim in

Speaker:

the fifth house, we want to explore

Speaker:

any wounds around creative expression.

Speaker:

Oh, a hundred percent. For example, like, I was judged

Speaker:

for my artwork or my voice or, like,

Speaker:

so there's, there's these wounds or experiences of

Speaker:

victimization around our creativity. I'm

Speaker:

curious, what comes up for you. There's. Yeah, you know, there's. There's a couple

Speaker:

things. I went to a Catholic school, I grew up in a

Speaker:

Catholic school. And so there was a lot of. We do

Speaker:

things this way and we stay in these lines and we do

Speaker:

this. And I remember even something as simple

Speaker:

as we were, we were coloring, and this was in kindergarten, and we

Speaker:

were coloring in some pictures, and everyone was already moved on

Speaker:

and it was time to move on to something else. Okay, it's good enough. Go

Speaker:

and hurry up and rush me on to, you know,

Speaker:

when I was full on enjoying my creative expression of

Speaker:

how I wanted to mix these colors together and how I wanted to do that

Speaker:

or even aspects of singing

Speaker:

when I was younger and being

Speaker:

very self conscious about my singing voice because

Speaker:

I got made fun of for it and because

Speaker:

my athleticism got praised and

Speaker:

my creativity got, you know,

Speaker:

squashed and squandered on and even more so with

Speaker:

that. I was told that I had a learning disability

Speaker:

when I was younger, when I don't really think I had a learning disability. I

Speaker:

just think I liked to do things differently and

Speaker:

create creatively. And, you know, my mom

Speaker:

said, she goes, like, if you were like, just goofing off and like, looking in

Speaker:

the mirror and like, doing like, you know, weird things, she's like,

Speaker:

you had no problem with your spelling.

Speaker:

And so because I was told we need to follow

Speaker:

this way, we need to be in this direction. And my

Speaker:

athleticism was praised, I a hundred percent

Speaker:

shut a lot of my creativity down. A lot

Speaker:

of it down. And even as I've become

Speaker:

an adult and, you know, did. Started getting into

Speaker:

mandalas, my first mandala that I made, it was like all

Speaker:

this judgment and all the. The, you know, the

Speaker:

suppression was coming out and so. Hundred percent.

Speaker:

One hundred percent. Yeah. So a lot of the victim in the fifth house

Speaker:

is healing. The. The inner

Speaker:

critic and the residue of the outer critics

Speaker:

that relate to our creativity. And that begins to then open up

Speaker:

kind of like this. Well, of inner gifts that are then allowed to be

Speaker:

expressed. So whenever we see survival

Speaker:

archetypes in these houses, that's where the

Speaker:

most amount of power and energy is bound

Speaker:

up. And so it's where the most

Speaker:

energy potential lies to be

Speaker:

released. Right. So that fifth house with the

Speaker:

creativity and the victim there is definitely a key

Speaker:

one where there's more and more that can

Speaker:

be uncovered and reclaimed. A hundred

Speaker:

percent. And, you know, it's interesting as you're talking about, even when

Speaker:

I look at what I do a lot of now, I get

Speaker:

to be creative. Yeah. With a lot of

Speaker:

my work, which is very interesting and. Yeah,

Speaker:

very interesting. Beautiful. So if we go to house

Speaker:

six. And also I just want to mention that

Speaker:

the 12 houses correlate with the 12 months. So we're in the

Speaker:

sixth house this month because we're in June.

Speaker:

And so at least when we're filming and recording this. And so

Speaker:

the sixth house relates to work and health. So the sixth house

Speaker:

relates to our job, occupation, so outer work,

Speaker:

sense of purpose, but also inner work. And it also relates to all

Speaker:

aspects of our health, physical, mental, emotional, spiritual.

Speaker:

And so you have the seeker in the sixth house. And so work

Speaker:

and health are the two areas where the seeker is always pursuing,

Speaker:

you know, a deeper layer, greater truth. The seeker in the

Speaker:

sixth house, if we start with your work, what it says to me is it's

Speaker:

a very different energy than, for example, there's someone who

Speaker:

spent 50, 60, 70 years working

Speaker:

the same job in the same office, nine to

Speaker:

five, same routine for decades upon decades. The

Speaker:

seeker would be miserable in that. I was gonna keep talking

Speaker:

about that. Sounds horrible. Yeah. The seeker's always

Speaker:

pursuing that next level of depth or that

Speaker:

next iteration of my work. And so the.

Speaker:

The seeker is. It's. You know how Paul talks about, like, the horizon is always,

Speaker:

you know, you take one step towards it, it takes one step away from you.

Speaker:

So in your work, there's always going to be that seeker that's always,

Speaker:

okay, what's the next iteration? What's the next version? What's the next.

Speaker:

Which can Be a blessing and a curse. The blessing

Speaker:

is constant evolution. The curse is it never feels like it's

Speaker:

enough. Yeah. And so that's. There's a little

Speaker:

internal wrestling match with that challenge

Speaker:

related to your work. I'm curious how that lands. Oh, yeah,

Speaker:

100%. I've come to

Speaker:

terms with. There's.

Speaker:

It's. How far do I want to take in?

Speaker:

There's always going to be more to do. And in

Speaker:

my early part of my career, I don't think I

Speaker:

understood this about myself or

Speaker:

about the world. I thought there was like this end goal in

Speaker:

a way, and then I reach it and then that's it. And

Speaker:

we just. We just ride that and everything that you said that would

Speaker:

make me miserable. But then when I realized there

Speaker:

wasn't and there's so much to learn, I then fell into the trap of

Speaker:

overdoing and constantly going and then almost falling into

Speaker:

the, well, shit, do I know anything?

Speaker:

Do I know anything? And it's really come to this

Speaker:

balance out of I have a lot of

Speaker:

experience and I have a lot of wisdom in a lot of areas.

Speaker:

And at the same time, there's so

Speaker:

much more to experience. And so

Speaker:

I've gotten really familiar or

Speaker:

really clear with what is a healthy

Speaker:

balance between doing the seeking, the going and the

Speaker:

learning and the experiencing versus the

Speaker:

resting. And because that resting has always been a challenge for me in

Speaker:

the past, and that muscle has grown stronger over the years, I

Speaker:

can very much feel when I'm teetering too

Speaker:

much. And so that for sure has been a big pull in my life. But

Speaker:

I'm always like, it's, how far do I want to take this today? There's always

Speaker:

tomorrow. How far do I want to take this? There's always going to be more

Speaker:

to do. There's always going to be more to see, and it's. It's okay to

Speaker:

take my time. And then that's also when I remind myself that

Speaker:

there's not that destination. It's about enjoying the journey.

Speaker:

Literally, the process is the journey. And it's having conversations

Speaker:

with myself like, okay, we. We need a break. And that's okay that we're not

Speaker:

learning anything or going out and really

Speaker:

pushing. It's okay that we're just integrating.

Speaker:

That's probably the correct word of how powerful integrating

Speaker:

they. The wisdom and the experiences I've gotten

Speaker:

from the seeker. Yeah, yeah. So huge pull in my life.

Speaker:

Huge pull. Yeah. Yeah. And I will say, when it wasn't balanced, that's when

Speaker:

I found myself in burnout. And so because the sixth house governs

Speaker:

health. What this says is health challenges

Speaker:

will be a result of the seeker being out of balance.

Speaker:

Yeah, 100%. Like that's what happened when I burned out. Yeah.

Speaker:

And I can see when I'm teetering that line because

Speaker:

I do feel it in my body and I feel it in different

Speaker:

areas or symptoms, and I'm like, oh, I'm doing too much. And don't get me

Speaker:

wrong, there's times in life, you know, where things are just

Speaker:

stressful and things are just going and

Speaker:

this has to play out. But when I remind myself that there

Speaker:

is this end goal, like this, this push, the seeker is

Speaker:

ending soon. When it's done, I have to remind myself that

Speaker:

I can downshift. But that downshift can sometimes be challenging. And it is.

Speaker:

It will show up in my health. A hundred percent. Yeah. And when

Speaker:

that does show up, the archetype across from it brings you back into balance.

Speaker:

The nature child. Right. Because nature is the law of

Speaker:

balance. And that's literally how I downshift. Even in the

Speaker:

winter time. One of my favorite things is to like bundle up

Speaker:

and just lay out in the cold because that yin,

Speaker:

that cold to that, that yang, that doing very

Speaker:

much balances out. And it's really neat too, because I've always known nature was really

Speaker:

healing for me, but I'm now seeing why this picture

Speaker:

outside of the beautiful benefits of nature, but, like, how deep that

Speaker:

archetype is. Yeah, yeah. What's beautiful about the wheel

Speaker:

is there's things that you know, but you maybe you don't know why.

Speaker:

And then the archetype wheel is like, oh, that makes sense. Now I

Speaker:

understand why. Blank. And so that word that you used,

Speaker:

integration, is really the most important thing for

Speaker:

the seeker in the sixth house is the seeker is the

Speaker:

pursuit. And then the pursuit also has to be matched with integration.

Speaker:

And so I'm so glad that you use that word

Speaker:

because it's so important for the sixth house there.

Speaker:

I've learned from burnout. Yeah. From

Speaker:

overdoing it. Yeah. Awesome. So now we go to House 7.

Speaker:

So House 7 is one on one relationships.

Speaker:

And so the warrior in the seventh house, the

Speaker:

warrior is obviously a very strong archetype. It's a lot about

Speaker:

strength and protection, knowing what you

Speaker:

stand for, knowing what you're willing to live and die for.

Speaker:

And so it's very interesting actually having the warrior

Speaker:

show up in one on one relationships. And so

Speaker:

that can show up as obviously light and shadow.

Speaker:

The light side is really standing up for

Speaker:

and protecting the Relationships that are closest

Speaker:

to you and most valuable to you, like being a protector of

Speaker:

the relationships that really mean the most to you.

Speaker:

And the commitment of the warrior is quite

Speaker:

significant in the seventh house. The challenge that

Speaker:

the warrior can run into in the seventh house

Speaker:

is, number one, could unconsciously go to battle

Speaker:

sometimes, or number two, the

Speaker:

warrior can be loyal to a fault.

Speaker:

I fight for something that I really just need to surrender,

Speaker:

or I stay in something longer than its expiration date, or

Speaker:

I'm not willing to just let it go. Yeah. You know,

Speaker:

I keep fighting for it. I see that trend

Speaker:

numerous times in romantic relationships. Okay.

Speaker:

Numerous times that. The shadow side of it.

Speaker:

And one thing, when it gets flipped on the light side,

Speaker:

it's, yeah, like, I'll be there when things hit the fan. We can make it

Speaker:

through challenging times. And so when

Speaker:

relationships hit that turmoil and I can. I can see it

Speaker:

in. In friendships too, but I can really see it when you're

Speaker:

in partnership with people, you get that mirror

Speaker:

straight up. But I can see it in numerous of my

Speaker:

relationships is like, well, come on, we can work through this. This is no big

Speaker:

deal. And, yeah, I'm usually the one that's, hey,

Speaker:

let's. Let's do this. We got this. What's interesting is I always thought that had

Speaker:

to do more with a widget could. An attachment

Speaker:

style. And I've done a lot of work on my attachment styles with it.

Speaker:

But the way that you're talking about the warrior in that, from

Speaker:

a shadow side, I'm like, oh, my goodness. Yes.

Speaker:

I've done that numerous times. When it's time to just

Speaker:

let it go, I don't put the sword down. I'm like, no, no. Like,

Speaker:

let's. We got this. Yeah. And they're like, no, I'm good. Like,

Speaker:

why? But again, like I said, that's been way on the

Speaker:

positive side of two. Because those who are in my inner circle

Speaker:

and when I've gotten really clear with, like, oh,

Speaker:

this is the boundary that I need to have around the friendships or the romantic

Speaker:

relationships, because every relationship hits some sort of

Speaker:

turmoil, like

Speaker:

when things hit the fan or things get chaotic, like, I'm there in the

Speaker:

foxhole with you. Like, I. I got you. Like, I got

Speaker:

you. And I love that aspect. I love that aspect.

Speaker:

Yeah. And so the big thing with the warrior is also being very

Speaker:

conscious of your alliances and

Speaker:

make sure that you're. You're willing to live and die for the person

Speaker:

that you're in the foxhole with and make sure that you're Choosing a person that's

Speaker:

willing to do the same. And that's been the learning and

Speaker:

growth opportunities of the past. But I can see

Speaker:

the prostitute. It's very interesting because that's when the prostitute would come in. It's not

Speaker:

really a crazy cross permit, but that's when the

Speaker:

prostitute would come in. Yeah. To still prostitute

Speaker:

myself to be in the foxhole with them when they just need to be in

Speaker:

the. They need to be in another one. Yeah. You know, and it's

Speaker:

interesting too is a lot of those. The

Speaker:

shadow side too is when

Speaker:

I'm still ready to battle and be loyal for it.

Speaker:

I've gotten numerous times and, and even on the positive side,

Speaker:

numerous times that I can be very intense in

Speaker:

relationships. And I think that makes sense because the warrior is,

Speaker:

is ready to go and is ready to fight and is ready to be there.

Speaker:

Yeah, the warrior definitely has an intensity. And

Speaker:

so in one on one relationships, you can see where that shows up.

Speaker:

Hundred. This is, I have to say, dude, this is crazy

Speaker:

of how like on point these aspects are to

Speaker:

different parts of my life so far. Like it's literally nailing

Speaker:

it across the board of archetypes that I

Speaker:

hold and have held deeply. Well, you

Speaker:

chose it. So. Yes. So the eighth

Speaker:

house. Eighth house is other people's resources.

Speaker:

So you see, the eighth house sits across from the second house. So the second

Speaker:

house is your resources. Mm. Which is essentially

Speaker:

what you have and what you have to offer others.

Speaker:

And then the eighth house would be what other people have to offer

Speaker:

you, what you might want or need from others.

Speaker:

And so the Sabbath tour in the eighth house,

Speaker:

what that says to me is. Well, it could say a couple things. The

Speaker:

first would be challenges with receiving.

Speaker:

Right. Because the eighth house is other people's money, power, authority,

Speaker:

resources that you might want or need from them. So the

Speaker:

saboteur might, for example, have a hard time asking for help

Speaker:

of like, hey, I need, I need a favor or could you help me out

Speaker:

with this? And it's interesting because it sits next to the

Speaker:

warrior. So sometimes the warrior tries to do everything

Speaker:

himself or herself. And then the Saboteur in the 8th House

Speaker:

of other people's resources. I have a hard time asking for help.

Speaker:

Oh yeah. And that was felt like such a wound

Speaker:

too when I did have to ask for help of. Well, why can't you just

Speaker:

figure it out on your own? Like why do you, you know. And it,

Speaker:

that one took a long time too. And it was actually

Speaker:

Paul telling the story of him trying to do it all

Speaker:

alone and Then the bee spirit came to him

Speaker:

saying, bees don't make honey alone. And me really stepping back.

Speaker:

And even when I look at things that I think that I'm

Speaker:

doing by myself, I'm not really

Speaker:

doing by myself. And really.

Speaker:

Which is interesting, the ninth one we're getting into, but really flipping.

Speaker:

That mindset of it's

Speaker:

not weak. Asking for help when

Speaker:

I need help. It's actually a really strong quality to

Speaker:

say, hey, I. I need your support here. Can you help me

Speaker:

here? That one's. That one's taken a while. And I definitely can see where

Speaker:

more Work on it. Continued work on it can

Speaker:

unlock more. Like what you were talking about in the victim,

Speaker:

where it holds the most energy potential.

Speaker:

Yeah, I definitely see where more can be unlocked.

Speaker:

Asking for help. Yeah. And so the big theme in

Speaker:

the eighth house is healing. The Savage

Speaker:

tours a lot about opening myself up to receiving.

Speaker:

Opening myself up to asking for a helping hand,

Speaker:

being willing to receive what others have to offer me rather than

Speaker:

always what I have to offer them. I'm. I'm laughing

Speaker:

because also, too, another thing Paul would tell me,

Speaker:

and you know Paul, like, when he talks, he can talk really, really close. Like

Speaker:

when he has something really impactful to tell you is he

Speaker:

would tell me, you don't have to do it all on the. On your own.

Speaker:

You don't have to lift it all on your own. He's like, you can let

Speaker:

the universe do it. And so even not just

Speaker:

with other people, even the universe

Speaker:

of being like, it's okay. Like, let the universe work its magic. It's okay.

Speaker:

That's funny. Yeah. Yeah. Right on.

Speaker:

Beautiful. So if we go to House 9, you have the

Speaker:

Liberator. House 9 is the House of spirituality.

Speaker:

It's the house of your relationship with God, spirit, religion.

Speaker:

And so the Liberator is all about freeing yourself

Speaker:

on a spiritual level. So, for example, you mentioned being born

Speaker:

and raised in a Catholic upbringing. So the

Speaker:

Liberator is part of your archetypal journey of freeing

Speaker:

yourself from some of the maybe imposed

Speaker:

beliefs, some of the restrictions

Speaker:

that maybe organized religion felt like it was placed upon you.

Speaker:

Oh. And so the Liberator is breaking free from all of

Speaker:

the religious or spiritual shackles

Speaker:

that you may have felt were, you know, attached to

Speaker:

you for times in the past.

Speaker:

Yeah. And again, the relevancy, the timing of this,

Speaker:

as I've been digging deeper into

Speaker:

those beliefs and just two,

Speaker:

three weeks ago, just unlocking a lot of those that I

Speaker:

realized I was still carrying with me, even on an

Speaker:

unconscious level of specific Beliefs

Speaker:

that was right or wrong and what. How I should be living my life and

Speaker:

really looking at those and being like, no, that doesn't serve me

Speaker:

anymore. And so it's interesting looking at the Liberator

Speaker:

in this house with having that upbringing,

Speaker:

I have such great beliefs to sit through

Speaker:

and see what else, what else I

Speaker:

want to believe and how I want to believe. And it's interesting, too, because

Speaker:

that's a passion of

Speaker:

when I get in conversations with people and when I talk

Speaker:

with clients or anyone. I love talking about

Speaker:

rewiring your belief systems because, you know,

Speaker:

your beliefs create your choices and your choices,

Speaker:

you create your actions, and your actions create your reality. And so, like,

Speaker:

I get so jazzed about that. And so it's

Speaker:

interesting with that being so deep in the

Speaker:

spirituality, because those deep

Speaker:

beliefs that I was indoctrinated into at a young

Speaker:

age. Right. Definitely did not create the reality

Speaker:

that I wanted. Yeah. And so one thing I'll

Speaker:

add, because we do have a light and shadow side,

Speaker:

the light side of the Liberator in the ninth house is freeing yourself

Speaker:

from, you could say, like we said, the shackles of organized religion,

Speaker:

maybe the limitations of it or the restrictions of it or the

Speaker:

imposed beliefs around it, but then also

Speaker:

making sure that the Liberator doesn't swing to the other

Speaker:

extreme where it's just like, floating free and

Speaker:

not grounded or anchored in anything. You know,

Speaker:

that's what I would see as

Speaker:

one of the shadow sides of, like, New Age spirituality

Speaker:

is there's a swinging to the opposite of extreme of

Speaker:

instead of being in an organized religion now, they're not grounded in

Speaker:

anything. There is something beautiful to a tradition

Speaker:

or a discipline or something that

Speaker:

you really ground and root yourself into. And so

Speaker:

sometimes the Liberator can be resistant to that

Speaker:

because of how it's felt imprisoned in the past.

Speaker:

So it's finding the balance. Yeah, for sure. And

Speaker:

I can see how when I first started, I'll put in quotes, the

Speaker:

spiritual journey, because it's been the whole time, but when it initially

Speaker:

happened is I can see where that

Speaker:

definitely just the pendulum swung

Speaker:

massively to the other side. And I would say

Speaker:

these last couple years and again, doing. Working so closely with Paul,

Speaker:

living with them for two and a half years, like that really helped

Speaker:

tame the pendulum out from not swinging so far. And I would say when

Speaker:

I first met them in person and started

Speaker:

working with them in person, it was on that shadow side

Speaker:

of the Liberator. And it really helped ground me

Speaker:

out for sure. Yeah. Yeah. Beautiful. Yeah.

Speaker:

And so now we Go to your highest potential.

Speaker:

Yay, the hermit.

Speaker:

And so the highest potential is the hermit. A couple

Speaker:

things. It obviously highlights the importance of solitude,

Speaker:

right. The importance of really spending time

Speaker:

with yourself, your own time, your own space,

Speaker:

as a way of really deeply coming to know yourself. The highest potential

Speaker:

is self mastery with the hermit. So the highest

Speaker:

potential is always an inward journey. It's not

Speaker:

an outward pursuit. And so the hermit

Speaker:

really highlights that. The pursuit of the highest

Speaker:

potential is really through inner mastery. I think there's one of

Speaker:

the verses in the Tao Te Ching, it's something like,

Speaker:

to know others is intelligence. To know yourself

Speaker:

is wisdom. To master others is strength. To

Speaker:

master yourself is power. And that's to me

Speaker:

like the verse of the hermit in the Highest Potential.

Speaker:

I think it's verse 33, if I'm not mistaken.

Speaker:

So how does that land for you? Well, and I was. I

Speaker:

was talking with you about this the other day is I

Speaker:

love my alone time. I love. I love being with people,

Speaker:

but I love my alone time. I love

Speaker:

just. Even if it's doing absolutely nothing, it. It

Speaker:

fuels me, it recharges me. And when

Speaker:

Michael and I were living in an rv, it was so hard

Speaker:

to feel like I could really get that

Speaker:

deep hermit time that I craved. Because

Speaker:

sometimes I don't want to leave the house when I Herman. Sometimes I just want

Speaker:

to like, Herman around the house. But they're. The house wasn't

Speaker:

that big. Yeah. Or even. Or even going outside. And

Speaker:

so I would say that this is something in

Speaker:

my younger years I didn't really

Speaker:

know about myself and I didn't feed into.

Speaker:

And when I went through my quarter life crisis and

Speaker:

really started spending time with myself and learning to love

Speaker:

aspects of myself that I really hated, I'm like, I don't

Speaker:

understand how people don't like spending time, time alone. And

Speaker:

it really became this aspect of

Speaker:

it's so needed in my world because without

Speaker:

it, I am just out of balance.

Speaker:

Lassitfully. Yeah. And what's beautiful

Speaker:

is the hermit sits across from the guide. And

Speaker:

you know, as we know in. In the tarot, the herm, the hermit

Speaker:

is a guide. Right. Because the hermit climbs

Speaker:

up the mountain, spends time in isolation, does its

Speaker:

inner work, and it comes back down holding the lantern as a guide

Speaker:

for others. And so the guide and the

Speaker:

hermit across from each other are really strong opposition

Speaker:

because they very much are like two sides of one coin.

Speaker:

And the hermit being in the highest potential across from

Speaker:

the guide. What it also says is as you get

Speaker:

closer to your highest potential, whatever that Looks like

Speaker:

you begin to guide people without having to say anything.

Speaker:

Like Paul says, like, the greatest teacher is the silent teacher.

Speaker:

I love that. So that's the hermit in your highest potential.

Speaker:

Yeah, I love that a lot. Me too.

Speaker:

So now we go to house 11.

Speaker:

So the 11th house relates to community.

Speaker:

It relates to group relationships, tribe.

Speaker:

So how Paul has the I. We all

Speaker:

think of the first house as I, the seventh house is we,

Speaker:

and the 11th house as all. So three

Speaker:

or more. You're in the 11th house, and so you have the

Speaker:

lover there. And so the lover

Speaker:

in the 11th house very much

Speaker:

thrives on community, loves

Speaker:

connection to tribe. Like, the heart opens

Speaker:

when you enter that relationship at an all level.

Speaker:

Maybe even more so than on a we level.

Speaker:

Yeah, I think it depends what the tank

Speaker:

is needing fuel from, but yeah, especially with the hermit next to

Speaker:

it. Correct. Yeah. And I can tell, though, it's

Speaker:

interesting you say that, because I thought it was just the age I was in.

Speaker:

You know, how 1 to 7 is root chakra. You know, 8 to

Speaker:

14 is sacral chakra.

Speaker:

I'm in the fifth chakra. And so I was kind of like, oh, maybe that's

Speaker:

just me wanting to voice and connect with my tribe and my community, because that

Speaker:

has been something heavily since

Speaker:

2021 that I've been like, oh,

Speaker:

like tribe that is actually aligned with me

Speaker:

being my authentic self. And it does. Like, when there's

Speaker:

workshops, when there's actually a group event that I feel

Speaker:

aligned with, I just come home and I'm, like,

Speaker:

jazzed, and I'm, you know, I'm buzzed. Like, we have a few people we're

Speaker:

meeting with this summer and having community. Like, I'm jazzed about

Speaker:

that. Like, it does 100% fuel me. And like I said, it fuels me

Speaker:

in a different way then the we fuels me

Speaker:

in a different way than the I fuels me. It's very interesting,

Speaker:

but once I'm done, I'm. I'm ready to Herman. Yeah.

Speaker:

But I feel determined, and I crave that. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker:

It's a great balance. And what's really

Speaker:

interesting is having the warrior energy

Speaker:

in the we relationships and the lover energy

Speaker:

in the all relationships, because the

Speaker:

warrior and the lover are also, like, two

Speaker:

polarities. And so it's very interesting

Speaker:

that you have these very different energies

Speaker:

that show up at the we level versus at the all level.

Speaker:

What would be the shadow side of the lover in the all?

Speaker:

The shadow side of the lover at the all. Well, the lover

Speaker:

can. The lover can become almost like a little bit like, the

Speaker:

prostitute.

Speaker:

So the lover unconsciously

Speaker:

can be a little bit of a yes person, a people pleaser,

Speaker:

maybe some of those attachment wounds. So

Speaker:

the lover and the prostitute could be like, almost like the shadow

Speaker:

expression of the lover. I can 100% see that. And I will say

Speaker:

too, I, there's many times in the past when

Speaker:

group events have gone on and I would get so much FOMO

Speaker:

even if I didn't want to be there. Yeah. And over,

Speaker:

over the years of doing the inner work and

Speaker:

it might come up, but it's like, do you really want to be there right

Speaker:

now? And it's like, no. Okay, so what would it feel like if you were

Speaker:

there? I'm like, you would just want to go home. I'm like, okay, so you're

Speaker:

home. You're home right now, so let's enjoy that. And when you

Speaker:

do want to go out and you do want to connect with your community, guess

Speaker:

what? It's going to be great because you authentically,

Speaker:

you want to be there. Yeah. So I 100

Speaker:

feel that for sure. Yeah. And

Speaker:

so if we now finish off with your 12th house,

Speaker:

we have the nature child. Now, the 12th house

Speaker:

governs your unconscious and it also governs intuition.

Speaker:

So one of the things that this says is that the Nature Child

Speaker:

is really your greatest access to intuition. So

Speaker:

if you have a question or you need guidance on something,

Speaker:

it's, I need to go out in nature. I need to go for a walk

Speaker:

in the woods. I need to sit under a tree. I need to go for

Speaker:

a hike. I need to. And that's where the downloads,

Speaker:

so to speak, come through. Nature. Yeah.

Speaker:

I mean, a hundred percent. And we talked about it. I feel like I've said

Speaker:

that a thousand times, like a hundred percent. But it's all

Speaker:

right on and exactly with how I

Speaker:

function and how I work and

Speaker:

even throughout my day, because

Speaker:

I do so much on the computer that I'll

Speaker:

just go sit outside, I'll just go take a walk, I'll just, I'll

Speaker:

eat my lunch outside. I literally do as much outside

Speaker:

as I possibly can. And

Speaker:

like we said earlier, this just makes so much sense of why

Speaker:

and why it feels so centering and also too

Speaker:

why so many ideas or intuitive feelings

Speaker:

come to me or why I even. I love speaking with animals

Speaker:

and getting messages from animals and just like

Speaker:

clearing myself and seeing if they have anything to say to me. And it's become

Speaker:

so normal that I forget when I'm talking with other people, I'm like, oh, you

Speaker:

don't, you don't talk to the animal, you didn't see what the spider had to

Speaker:

say. For you, it just makes so,

Speaker:

so much sense. Yeah. Of why that's there.

Speaker:

And my question is, now that I have this, what do I do? What do

Speaker:

I do with all this? Like, now that I have all this in my awareness,

Speaker:

what do I do? Yeah, great question. So the first thing

Speaker:

is I will, I'll send you a

Speaker:

PDF that has, that outlines the houses, it has

Speaker:

journaling questions, like, if you have this archetype in this house, like, here's

Speaker:

some further exploration. So I'll send that over to you separately.

Speaker:

But what I would recommend doing is

Speaker:

number one, work with one archetype each month.

Speaker:

So the archetype that you're in each month, just work with that.

Speaker:

So going by the 12 houses and the 12 months,

Speaker:

like June, right now we're in the sixth house. So spend this month really

Speaker:

exploring and working with the seeker. Next month,

Speaker:

focus more on the warrior the following month. So each

Speaker:

year you kind of spend one month working with each

Speaker:

archetype. The other thing is, whenever you have a

Speaker:

challenge in your life, ask yourself, what house

Speaker:

is this challenge in? So if you're having a financial

Speaker:

challenge, maybe go to the second house. If you're having a challenge

Speaker:

at Harlem, go to the fourth house. If you're having a challenge at work, you

Speaker:

go to the sixth house, you're having a challenge in a

Speaker:

one on one relationship, go to the seventh house and see what

Speaker:

archetype is there. And you work with that archetype based on

Speaker:

the challenge that you're facing and the house that's in. So it becomes almost

Speaker:

like a blueprint

Speaker:

or a roadmap. Yeah, a guide. A guide.

Speaker:

A guide. Now I would definitely spend

Speaker:

some time focusing on the survival archetypes in those

Speaker:

houses because the survival archetypes are where a lot

Speaker:

of our core wounds are, a lot of our

Speaker:

unconscious imprints and contracts are. And obviously

Speaker:

this is a lot of the work that I do in my coaching where I

Speaker:

would take the wheel and then do a lot of inner work with

Speaker:

someone based on the roadmap or the blueprints.

Speaker:

But if you're working with it yourself, you have a lot of tools,

Speaker:

given your work with Paul and everything. So you know how to work with

Speaker:

archetypes. But work with one a month based

Speaker:

on the month that we're in, work with the archetypes

Speaker:

based on the challenges that you're having in your life. So you go to that

Speaker:

house and work there and then focus a

Speaker:

little bit on the survival archetypes, because that's where the most

Speaker:

amount of opportunity is. Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker:

I'm looking forward to this. Now I know I'm going to have some people in

Speaker:

my life that want to go do this. Can they do just the

Speaker:

wheel with you or do. Is it normally wheel and then. Okay.

Speaker:

Because I have some people that I think are going to. Are going to dig

Speaker:

this for sure. Yeah. I'll have the link in the show notes,

Speaker:

but it's healing4d.com wheel. Cool. Very

Speaker:

simple. And I used to do it in a group. I have that

Speaker:

on hold right now. But I am doing one on one archetype

Speaker:

wheel. So people are more than welcome to reach out to me. And I

Speaker:

have to say, like, this is the first time I've done this. I had no

Speaker:

ideas of what you were going to say. And like I said, I think I

Speaker:

said 100%, like literally 30 times in

Speaker:

this thing because it was so spot on

Speaker:

with aspects of my life and shining light on areas of

Speaker:

things in my past and how I've acted in certain

Speaker:

areas. And also too, I can see how beneficial this

Speaker:

is going forward. I'm like looking down at my map

Speaker:

that I have down here of how beneficial this is,

Speaker:

moving forward now, knowing these aspects and

Speaker:

working with them and. Yeah. Getting to know them to deeper

Speaker:

level. So it's almost. It's like a curriculum. Yes. You know

Speaker:

how like we say Earth is a school where we, as souls,

Speaker:

come to learn. I see. The wheel is like the curriculum

Speaker:

that we put into place, like for this

Speaker:

incarnation. Yeah. And so

Speaker:

it's very much like the curriculum that, you know,

Speaker:

we signed up for. Yeah. And it kind of lays it out for you.

Speaker:

Yeah. And not only that, some of these archetypes are

Speaker:

ones that I haven't explored. The hermit I'm pretty

Speaker:

familiar with. But like, when we were doing this, I'm like, what is a

Speaker:

Midas? I'm like, what is a Midas? And it's

Speaker:

something that's so heavy in my life and. Yeah, prevalent

Speaker:

in my life. And so I'm looking forward to diving into

Speaker:

these more and working with them and

Speaker:

utilizing them. So I just have to say, anyone who wants to do this, do

Speaker:

it. I'm like jazzed. Jazzed about it for sure.

Speaker:

Well, Kirsty, thank you so much for being a guinea pig and coming on and

Speaker:

being willing to just open yourself up in this way because I

Speaker:

know some of this can be quite vulnerable for people to make

Speaker:

themselves, like, this, available. So thank you for that. Thank you

Speaker:

for Using me as your guinea pig. Would you

Speaker:

like to share anything or direct people anywhere in terms of your

Speaker:

work or anything that you're up to? I just want to give you an opportunity

Speaker:

for that. Yeah, thank you. I appreciate that.

Speaker:

I do have a few things in the works. Nothing out right

Speaker:

now, just because I'm in a lot of transition, good transition

Speaker:

in life. But if you do want to connect and

Speaker:

you do want to get on any sort of wait list of what I might

Speaker:

have going, or you just want to follow me, the best way

Speaker:

is Instagram, which is Kirsty

Speaker:

Pratt. Dot Coaching, which is my first last

Speaker:

name. Coaching. And just reaching out on there and

Speaker:

connecting from there and stuff like that. Like I told you, I'm in

Speaker:

this interesting transition in life and so I'm. I. It sounds

Speaker:

like I need to go lean into that 12th house and go spend some time

Speaker:

in nature and see what drops in. But if you're

Speaker:

feeling the call to just connect and see what's up, reach out, we'd love to

Speaker:

hear from you. Beautiful. Kirsty, thank you so much for coming on

Speaker:

the show. Thank you so much, friend. And I hope to see you in

Speaker:

person very soon. Absolutely.
