Shownotes
Jill and Linda are in a bit of a puddle of melt this week as they come off the back of another sticky note time weekend and a book that has finally landed on the desk. Which leads us into our topic of being able to switch on and off as mamas and for our self-care. In many ways Jill has come back fulfilled, inspired, and all the other feelings, and also been struck with the realities of other moments that have been rolling and bumbling around in the background. Can you relate? Grab your coffee, we’re in for a ride as Jill and Linda chat about:
- Being the default parent. Especially when it comes to our mental load and arranging things to run smoothy.
- How our children are still such a huge part of our lives, even when they are not physically with us.
- Intuition and connections we have to being a mama.
- On ramps and switching ourselves on. Preparation for us and focusing in a certain way for different situations.
- Dopamine and brain neuroplasticity. Activities we can do to fill our ‘pool’, without creating a whirlpool affect.
- Real life morning vs night-time. Hear us live with littles, cats, and more in the background.
