In this episode we will look at one of the most intriguing monuments at Vijayanagara, the Great Stone Platform, which is also known as Mahanavami Dibba or Dasara Dibba that’s located in the Royal Centre part of Hampi.

The huge platform-like structure in the episode artwork is the Mahanavami Dibba and it’s a great example of Vijayanagara architecture and art being fused in an exceptionally aesthetic way. And I will tell you in detail why I call this structure intriguing.
