When it comes to sponsors and advertisers, a lot of podcasters just share their download numbers, and while downloads can give you information about your show, it's probably only a fraction of what you can share. And this can cost you when it comes to how much you get paid by those sponsors, because they're looking to connect with your audience.
And that's not just limited to your podcast. There's also social media followers, newsletter subscribers, online communities, and social media groups and website visitors.
These are all part of your audience, too, and should be included in the sponsor package you offer sponsors and advertisers, because it can be the difference between charging $100 per month and $500 per month, as an example.
