Join Dina Marie Hale on this weekly broadcast as she reflects upon the readings for the 3rd Sunday in Lent, Year C. The readings for the Mass are from Exodus, Psalm 103, I Corinthians and the Gospel of Luke. Today we hear Jesus tell the crowd a parable of the fig tree as he stresses the need to repent. We also hear from Exodus, the account of the calling of Moses by God, to lead his people to freedom. Each one of us is also called to first, follow the Lord and then be a leader of others to the love and mercy of God. Now, join us for this Lenten reflection with Dina Marie.

Novena to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear our prayer. As your children, we implore your intercession with Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today, especially... [for the conversion of Russia and peace in Ukraine].
We are comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your prayer. We trust to your gentle care and intercession, those whom we love and who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help all of us, Holy Mother, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace with God forever. Amen.
SAINT PATRICK’S LORICA FOR PROTECTION
I arise today
Through a mighty strength, the invocation of the Trinity,
Through belief in the Threeness,
Through confession of the Oneness
of the Creator of creation.
Christ with me,
Christ before me,
Christ behind me,
Christ in me,
Christ beneath me,
Christ above me,
Christ on my right,
Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down,
Christ when I sit down,
Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me,
Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me,
Christ in every ear that hears me.
