Unplugged1-1024x609

Wisdom – the final frontier to true knowledge. Welcome to Wisdom-Trek where our mission is to create a legacy of wisdom, to seek out discernment and insights, and to boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before.

Hello, my friend, I am Guthrie Chamberlain, your captain on our journey to increase wisdom and create a living legacy. Thank you for joining us today as we explore wisdom on our 2nd millennium of podcasts. This is Day 1235 of our trek, and it is time for our 3-minute mini trek called Wisdom Unplugged. This short nugget of wisdom includes an inspirational quote with a little bit of additional content for today’s trek. Consider this your vitamin supplement of wisdom for today. So let’s jump right in with today’s nugget.

Today’s quote is from Zig Ziglar, and it is, “If the door to success is marked pull and still won’t open, ignore the sign and push.”

The Door to Success

Success comes in many forms and in all areas of life. Sometimes the path to success appears clearly marked and is easy to achieve. Most of the time, though, the path to success is grown over with vines and brambles that you must hack your way through in order to clear the path. Sometimes what seems like an obvious sign to success does not achieve the desired results, and you have to become very creative.

If success is not achieved by one course of action, then try something different. I have found that on my own journey of success in many areas of my life and throughout various seasons, when I am on the path, I may have to detour, or morph, to another path in order to continue toward success. My ability to change course, while still moving forward has definitely been a significant factor in being able to achieve the success that I was pursuing. Having a keen sense of external issues, being able to anticipate certain factors, and then morphing your approach will have a major impact on being successful.

As one of my virtual mentors Zig Ziglar expressed in our quote today, “If the door to success is marked pull, and it does not open, then try pushing.” It may just be labeled incorrectly.

Ecclesiastes 11:6 – Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another—or maybe both.

That’s a wrap for today’s Wisdom Unplugged quote. If you would like free access to my database of over 11,000 inspirational quotes, the link is available on the main page of Wisdom-Trek.com.
