Hillery is a listener of the show and an Instagram follower. She reached out a few weeks ago with a beautiful email (which you can hear in episode 20) and shared some of her story. She is a high-achieving ICU nurse who took a leap of faith when she left her career and the life she has known to find her truth.
What really fascinated me about Hillery and the story she shared, was the courage it took her to change her life, trust her intuition, and go after her calling. After reading her email, I knew I wanted to have her on the podcast.
This episode is perfect for anyone who feels the call to make a change and leave the parts of your life that aren't serving you anymore.. just like Hillery did.
In this episode, we discussed:
How Hillery discovered Joe’s work and started listening to the podcast
How losing loved ones can open us up emotionally
Confronting the unknown and facing our fears
Trusting our intuition and the synchronicities in life
Finding purpose in the small things
Questioning our beliefs and opening to a wider perspective of reality
How moving out of our day-to-day routine can bring us back to presence
