Transcripts

BLANCHE:

hi everyone.

BLANCHE:

My name is Blanche Garcia.

BLANCHE:

Welcome to the Conscious Home Podcast.

BLANCHE:

We are here with

BLANCHE:

Maria from the I Miss Me

BLANCHE:

Podcast.

BLANCHE:

And I'm actually really excited because she is a podcaster

BLANCHE:

who has gained popularity

BLANCHE:

for her honest discussions about mental health

BLANCHE:

in a world

BLANCHE:

where social media usually showcases idolized lifestyles.

BLANCHE:

Maria stands out by promoting the power

BLANCHE:

of vulnerability and

BLANCHE:

authenticity.

BLANCHE:

She courageously shares

BLANCHE:

her own experiences with pain, growth, and healing.

MARIA:

That's such a, beautiful introduction.

MARIA:

so excited to be here.

MARIA:

always love to hop on other people's podcasts to share my message.

MARIA:

So thank you so much for the invitation.

BLANCHE:

Yeah, I

BLANCHE:

always feel like it's shared connection and shared energy and you

BLANCHE:

never know where it's going to go.

MARIA:

it's

BLANCHE:

So

BLANCHE:

what inspired you to start your podcast, and delve into the topics

BLANCHE:

of self healing, self love and self

BLANCHE:

confidence?

MARIA:

You know, a lot of people that have podcasts have the idea

MARIA:

to have a podcast and like have the intention of having that project.

MARIA:

For me, it was a little different.

MARIA:

I went through a breakup and I didn't really want to go to therapy

MARIA:

and I was having a really hard time getting over the pain and the breakup.

MARIA:

So I started recording myself on my phone and just talking with myself,

MARIA:

ranting and crying to my phone because I didn't really, You know, I've

MARIA:

never been someone to, like, open up my emotions with other people.

MARIA:

just like my mom, my family, and at the time, I didn't really feel

MARIA:

comfortable talking with anyone, so I just started talking to my phone.

MARIA:

And then, eventually, you know, time heals, and I started feeling better,

MARIA:

so I just didn't really feel the need to record myself on my phone anymore,

MARIA:

and I started listening to myself.

MARIA:

To the first audios that I was recording and then I was like, oh my gosh, I'm

MARIA:

so much better Maybe I can turn this into a project and that's how the

MARIA:

idea of actually starting a podcast

MARIA:

was born

BLANCHE:

So

BLANCHE:

kind

BLANCHE:

of through your own self healing,

BLANCHE:

you realize that maybe other people could benefit.

MARIA:

Yeah I feel like that Experience as a whole not just the audios, but a

MARIA:

breakup in general made me very self aware and when you start having conversations

MARIA:

with yourself and Really get vulnerable of the things that I have to work on and

MARIA:

this is the reason why it's hurting so much you mature a lot and you become very

MARIA:

self aware And so truly I feel like the only way to heal is to be self aware And

MARIA:

that's what I want to lead people to be

BLANCHE:

Exactly,

BLANCHE:

Introspection is the only way to growth and to ask the hard questions.

BLANCHE:

And unfortunately, the way you do that is through certain circumstance and things

BLANCHE:

that happen to you that aren't the most comfortable, but they force you to grow.

BLANCHE:

exactly.

BLANCHE:

and

BLANCHE:

how has spirituality played a role in your life, particularly in your journey

BLANCHE:

towards authenticity and self love?

MARIA:

I started my spiritual journey very young.

MARIA:

When I was 13, I read the Law of Attraction, the book by Randa,

MARIA:

and it completely changed my life.

MARIA:

And I started kind of doing the exercises for people that have

MARIA:

read the Law of Attraction.

MARIA:

Know that it is a bug with like a 30 or 28 day challenges Applying gratitude

MARIA:

into your life and I started doing that very young and I started seeing

MARIA:

how much it was working And that is something that never left my life.

MARIA:

Gratitude for me is the most important thing to have but then I think that

MARIA:

a lot of people use spirituality or God or whatever they believe in as

MARIA:

a cushion or as a resource to reach out to when things are going bad.

MARIA:

And I've been guilty of that, of just reaching out to God when things are

MARIA:

going bad and then when things are doing very good, maybe not reach out as much.

MARIA:

And then when things are really bad, be like, here I am again.

MARIA:

And so for me, I think, Going through my breakup, at the time

MARIA:

I was just going through a lot.

MARIA:

it was a combination of a lot of things it was a very Big wake up call of don't

MARIA:

just reach out to god or the universe when things are going bad you have to

MARIA:

reach out always you have to Build a relationship or work on the relationship

MARIA:

that you have with the universe with god all the time it's not just when things

MARIA:

are bad and so I was 17 then and I went to therapy and It was kind of a therapy.

MARIA:

It was kind of like a therapy camp that I went to when I was going

MARIA:

through my breakup and I didn't know it was christian until I got there.

MARIA:

I've never been someone who's religious.

MARIA:

I've always been super spiritual, but some believes really resonated with me.

MARIA:

And so then I just kind of started building my own definition and my own

MARIA:

relationship of what God means to me.

MARIA:

And I keep it very private.

MARIA:

It's not something that I talk about on my podcast.

MARIA:

I don't think it's something that I will ever talk about on my podcast, like my

MARIA:

relationship with God, But, Spirituality does play a very big role in my life

MARIA:

and with my family, with my friends and it's something that is always there and

MARIA:

it's always present and I do feel like it guides me to do everything that I do.

BLANCHE:

I agree.

BLANCHE:

I think that everybody has to find their way

BLANCHE:

and at least find a connection to something.

BLANCHE:

Whatever they want to call it.

BLANCHE:

And you have to keep that relationship going.

BLANCHE:

Daily and it's either

BLANCHE:

you work with it and nurture it or you kind of starve

MARIA:

Yeah, for sure.

MARIA:

And just like any relationship, if you think about how many things a romantic

MARIA:

relationship requires is like it's time, it's energy, it's effort and it's

MARIA:

love and it's a lot of communication.

MARIA:

I feel like the same.

MARIA:

Has to be with God again, whatever you believe in whatever you call it.

MARIA:

I call it God it requires the same love, communication, work, energy, effort

MARIA:

and some people don't see it like that and I do I do believe that it requires

MARIA:

work and I feel like that is why So many good things happen to me because

MARIA:

I do make sure that I put effort and the time to work on that relationship

MARIA:

That I have with my spirituality

BLANCHE:

I agree with that.

BLANCHE:

So what

BLANCHE:

are

BLANCHE:

some practical steps individuals can take to initiate their own journey

BLANCHE:

of self healing and self love?

MARIA:

a lot of self awareness would be my main one.

MARIA:

it sounds super cliche, super repetitive, but feeling in order

MARIA:

to heal, is extremely important.

MARIA:

Because I do really believe that the only way out is through only by feeling

MARIA:

your emotions You're gonna be able to understand your emotions know why

MARIA:

they're there and As a consequence of knowing why they're there also letting

MARIA:

them go and I feel like that is the main reason why it's so important to feel

MARIA:

them because only by feeling them you understand them and once you understand

MARIA:

them it's easier to let them go.

MARIA:

I feel like a lot of times we seek closure from people, but in reality what we

MARIA:

should seek closure from is our feelings and the way that we're feeling that

MARIA:

way and we waste so much time seeking closure from another person, where In

MARIA:

reality, we should be seeking closure from our emotions and our feelings.

MARIA:

And I don't think that we do that enough.

MARIA:

So I think that once you start trying to understand why you're

MARIA:

feeling what you're feeling, that's the only way that you're going to

MARIA:

feel better and that's how you start

MARIA:

healing.

BLANCHE:

I agree.

BLANCHE:

I think a lot of people

BLANCHE:

miss the step

BLANCHE:

of the relationship to self,

BLANCHE:

because

BLANCHE:

you can't have any other relationships that are of value.

BLANCHE:

if you don't understand yourself and you don't have that relationship with self

BLANCHE:

and the self awareness is one of

BLANCHE:

them but the why you do things

BLANCHE:

the trigger because a

BLANCHE:

lot of times people are reacting

BLANCHE:

but they don't understand what the starter point was

BLANCHE:

right

MARIA:

something that it's super important to understand because i love talking

MARIA:

about psychology on my podcast and the reason why because for me Someone

MARIA:

telling me to feel to heal it sounds very cliche and it's pretty hard for me to

MARIA:

understand the why so i always like to say the why behind things and the reason

MARIA:

why it's so important to have a good relationship with yourself is because

MARIA:

our brain agrees with us it doesn't argue against us it agrees with us so whatever

MARIA:

you tell your brain to be true it will reflect to you on your life so if you're

MARIA:

constantly telling yourself that you're not worthy that you deserve, all of the

MARIA:

pain that you're feeling, that you're hurt, that you're heartbroken, it will

MARIA:

continue to reflect those things in your life because it's agreeing with you.

MARIA:

it's not arguing against you.

MARIA:

So if you're constantly telling yourself that you're heartbroken, your brain

MARIA:

will continue to put you in situations that make you even more heartbroken.

MARIA:

So having a good relationship with yourself means having good communication

MARIA:

and positive communication with yourself so that the universe or

MARIA:

your brain can reflect good things

MARIA:

to you.

BLANCHE:

when you start telling yourself certain stories,

BLANCHE:

your

BLANCHE:

body starts

BLANCHE:

reacting to that information,

BLANCHE:

good or

BLANCHE:

bad.

BLANCHE:

So that's how people create sickness in their body sometimes,

BLANCHE:

because they're creating a negative energy that keeps growing, and growing,

BLANCHE:

And it goes outward.

BLANCHE:

So when you create positive within your thought process, And in your body, then

BLANCHE:

it goes out in your energetic field.

BLANCHE:

And then also it attracts other things

BLANCHE:

that are of like vibration.

BLANCHE:

in your opinion,

BLANCHE:

what are

BLANCHE:

some common obstacles people face when trying to cultivate self

BLANCHE:

love and how can they overcome it?

MARIA:

I think they base their relationship with themselves, with

MARIA:

Situations that they've gone through like if something doesn't work out

MARIA:

with someone It's probably because of me if a job doesn't work out.

MARIA:

It's probably because of me if Don't know my parents were hard on me when

MARIA:

I was little it's probably because of me and so we constantly blame

MARIA:

ourselves for the things that we went through when in reality If something

MARIA:

doesn't work out, it's because there's something better out there.

MARIA:

If something doesn't work out, it's because we deserve better.

MARIA:

But that is a belief that has to start within.

MARIA:

nobody can really convince you that everything is happening

MARIA:

for you and not to you.

MARIA:

Nobody can convince you that there is something better for you out there.

MARIA:

Like, you have to believe that yourself, and I feel like the reason

MARIA:

why we struggle so much to have a good relationship with ourselves is because

MARIA:

we struggle to believe that there is something better out there for us.

MARIA:

And I think that it is because it requires trusting and there is no proof to trust.

MARIA:

You know what I mean?

MARIA:

And we are very logical beings.

MARIA:

Like our brain is constantly trying to solve problems.

MARIA:

And when there's a problem, we don't have a solution to, it's really hard

MARIA:

to believe that there is actually a solution and that is what trusting means.

MARIA:

having to believe that there's a solution, even if we don't

MARIA:

know how it's going to happen.

MARIA:

and so I feel like that's why we struggle so much to love ourselves,

MARIA:

but . If you don't love yourself, then you're never gonna receive

MARIA:

all of the things that you want.

MARIA:

You know what I mean?

BLANCHE:

I agree with that, And I also think that, Things

BLANCHE:

have divine timing too.

BLANCHE:

. and so

BLANCHE:

sometimes we're very limited.

BLANCHE:

we always put the end result like the options of only

BLANCHE:

what we are

BLANCHE:

limited to see.

BLANCHE:

So we'll say there's only three options here.

BLANCHE:

There's only three outcomes.

BLANCHE:

And so all those three may depress us,

BLANCHE:

not realizing that there are six other that we never thought about.

BLANCHE:

And so we

BLANCHE:

have to allow that opening

BLANCHE:

for things that

BLANCHE:

we have no idea about,

MARIA:

For sure.

MARIA:

And I think that we're really hard on ourselves when things don't work

MARIA:

out instead of celebrating them.

MARIA:

And I think that once you start celebrating them, you start vibrating

MARIA:

in a whole nother frequency.

MARIA:

that starts attracting even more things to celebrate like I always talk about

MARIA:

relationships because it's like the main topic that we talk about on my

MARIA:

podcast and a lot of people that are going through breakups or got ghosted or

MARIA:

are going through situationships listen to me because they're kind of looking

MARIA:

for that safe space after heartbreak suffer so much when something doesn't

MARIA:

work out and it's always like, this person ghosted me because I'm not worth

MARIA:

it, this person ghosted me because I'm going through pain, and I made

MARIA:

this video a couple of days ago of if someone ghosted you, congratulations.

MARIA:

start celebrating things not working out, because that just means that

MARIA:

you're just one step closer to finding what is actually going to work out.

MARIA:

and again, once you start celebrating the things that are happening to you,

MARIA:

regardless if they're good or bad, you completely change your frequency.

MARIA:

And then you're gonna start attracting things to actually have, love and

MARIA:

celebration for.

BLANCHE:

Well, it's interesting.

BLANCHE:

I was having this conversation as well

BLANCHE:

with somebody who got

BLANCHE:

ghosted

BLANCHE:

and I

BLANCHE:

said to her, what

BLANCHE:

kind of fears does that bring up in you?

BLANCHE:

did you

BLANCHE:

really

BLANCHE:

want

BLANCHE:

the relationship or a

BLANCHE:

relationship or was the fear bigger than the want?

BLANCHE:

And sometimes we

BLANCHE:

bring into our energy field.

BLANCHE:

The lessons that

BLANCHE:

we need to learn at that moment, the things that show us a mirror for

BLANCHE:

introspection.

BLANCHE:

So

BLANCHE:

it has multi facets.

BLANCHE:

that it's not meant for you at that moment.

BLANCHE:

Maybe something better is out there.

BLANCHE:

They weren't the right thing for you.

BLANCHE:

But

BLANCHE:

also Why are you attracting that

BLANCHE:

vibration,

BLANCHE:

particularly what is it that you can learn from that so you can put it to bed

BLANCHE:

so you can go to the next step?

MARIA:

and I think that.

MARIA:

We question people a lot instead of questioning ourselves as to why are we

MARIA:

allowing it Why are they ghosting me?

MARIA:

Why are they being mean to me?

MARIA:

Why are they being toxic the question is Why are you allowing it?

MARIA:

everything that we go through is always going to take us back to our

MARIA:

self worth and a lesson to work on yourself and a lesson to be better.

MARIA:

It's not a matter of Why is this person ghosting me?

MARIA:

The real question is, what frequency are you vibrating on

MARIA:

that is attracting those type

MARIA:

of relationships?

BLANCHE:

Oh,

BLANCHE:

100%.

BLANCHE:

I remember when I went through a completely tragic relationship,

BLANCHE:

in my early 30s, and

BLANCHE:

it was horrible.

BLANCHE:

It was like earth

BLANCHE:

shattering.

BLANCHE:

And I

BLANCHE:

end up going to Omega.

BLANCHE:

to a retreat there.

BLANCHE:

It's in Rhinebeck, New York.

BLANCHE:

And I went to like a whole week retreat.

BLANCHE:

I was like, this is gonna help me, you know And it

BLANCHE:

actually did.

BLANCHE:

and it was two practitioners.

BLANCHE:

They were married hosting it.

BLANCHE:

David and Gail

BLANCHE:

gershon, I

BLANCHE:

believe.

BLANCHE:

And so we're

BLANCHE:

in

BLANCHE:

this

BLANCHE:

group

BLANCHE:

thing and

BLANCHE:

we're talking about

BLANCHE:

what we want out of our life

BLANCHE:

And our

BLANCHE:

limitations And I

BLANCHE:

remember sitting there going.

BLANCHE:

why

BLANCHE:

can't I

BLANCHE:

get

BLANCHE:

the love that

BLANCHE:

I keep giving out?

BLANCHE:

And he said

BLANCHE:

to

BLANCHE:

me, the

BLANCHE:

question is,

BLANCHE:

why are you not giving that love to yourself?

BLANCHE:

And at the

BLANCHE:

time I was

BLANCHE:

like,

BLANCHE:

what is he

BLANCHE:

talking about?

BLANCHE:

Like, of course I love myself.

BLANCHE:

But the

BLANCHE:

truth

BLANCHE:

is is that if I loved myself, I wouldn't accept that behavior.

BLANCHE:

it's very

BLANCHE:

interesting, the layers.

BLANCHE:

so could

BLANCHE:

you share some empowering practices or affirmations that have personally

BLANCHE:

helped you on your journey

BLANCHE:

towards self love

MARIA:

love and I think it all goes back to gratitude.

MARIA:

never been a journaling girl, affirmations girl.

MARIA:

I journal every single morning.

MARIA:

It's just 10 reasons why I'm grateful for.

MARIA:

And I've been doing that for the past, I want to say six years, every

MARIA:

single morning changes your life and everybody should try it out.

MARIA:

But I've never been someone that meditates every single day,

MARIA:

affirmations every single day.

MARIA:

I just always recommend and almost turn it into like a, Non negotiable is gratitude.

MARIA:

Like start being grateful for every single thing regardless if it's hard and

MARIA:

regardless if you're not actually grateful for it because it is just training your

MARIA:

brain to eventually feel grateful for everything for everything that works out

MARIA:

and for everything that doesn't because gratitude is the highest frequency that

MARIA:

you can be vibrating on and the only

MARIA:

frequency that you're going to be able to attract everything that you want

MARIA:

so always always always be grateful.

MARIA:

However it looks for you.

MARIA:

Sometimes it's not even about the word thank you, but it is about the

MARIA:

feeling of feeling grateful for the people that you have around you,

MARIA:

feeling grateful for the things, feeling grateful for the opportunities,

MARIA:

feeling grateful for your job, your food, your family, your everything.

MARIA:

And we focus so much on what we don't have, this person left.

MARIA:

I don't have love.

MARIA:

I don't have relationships.

MARIA:

I don't have friends.

MARIA:

And you forget about everything that you do have.

MARIA:

And sometimes that's the blockage that's between who you are and what

MARIA:

you want is focusing on what you don't have instead of what you do and feeling

MARIA:

grateful and appreciating what you

MARIA:

do.

BLANCHE:

And I will say this, gratitude to

BLANCHE:

me is

BLANCHE:

kind

BLANCHE:

of a little bit like

BLANCHE:

meditation.

BLANCHE:

When I started

BLANCHE:

meditating, I got a lot of intrusive thoughts

BLANCHE:

and you get

BLANCHE:

sidebarred with them.

BLANCHE:

Like you're just like,

BLANCHE:

Oh my God, your

BLANCHE:

mind goes on a

BLANCHE:

tangent.

BLANCHE:

And then the

BLANCHE:

more and more that you work on it, you realize that those thoughts

BLANCHE:

aren't going to not happen.

BLANCHE:

They're going to come in, but you

BLANCHE:

notice them, see

BLANCHE:

them,

BLANCHE:

and then just let them go.

BLANCHE:

And it's the

BLANCHE:

same thing

BLANCHE:

with

BLANCHE:

gratitude.

BLANCHE:

you're not always going to feel a hundred percent.

BLANCHE:

You're not always going

BLANCHE:

to

BLANCHE:

feel like, Oh my God, this is amazing.

BLANCHE:

It's

BLANCHE:

okay to acknowledge the realities in your life, but not

BLANCHE:

sink and soak in them.

BLANCHE:

And once

BLANCHE:

you acknowledge them and go,

BLANCHE:

Hey, this

BLANCHE:

makes me feel a certain way and let it work through your body.

BLANCHE:

Then go, yeah,

BLANCHE:

but this is what I'm

BLANCHE:

learning from

BLANCHE:

this.

BLANCHE:

This is the gratitude I get

BLANCHE:

from This This is the silver lining, right?

BLANCHE:

Find the silver lining.

BLANCHE:

I remember

BLANCHE:

Gabby

BLANCHE:

Bernstein, She has this thing.

BLANCHE:

I remember

BLANCHE:

during 2020 COVID lockdown.

BLANCHE:

I went through my own tipping point with having my daughter and things like that.

BLANCHE:

And I remember her

BLANCHE:

saying just

BLANCHE:

choose a better thought.

BLANCHE:

than

BLANCHE:

the one you

BLANCHE:

had.

BLANCHE:

That was life

BLANCHE:

changing for me at that moment.

BLANCHE:

Cause it was

BLANCHE:

' easy.

BLANCHE:

it was an

BLANCHE:

easy jump.

BLANCHE:

Sometimes

BLANCHE:

it's hard to be grateful

BLANCHE:

For the

BLANCHE:

lessons

BLANCHE:

you're

BLANCHE:

in, but it's very easy in the moment

BLANCHE:

to

BLANCHE:

say just pick a better

BLANCHE:

thought.

BLANCHE:

So,

BLANCHE:

where

BLANCHE:

do you see

BLANCHE:

yourself

BLANCHE:

wanting to go?

BLANCHE:

Like where do you see in the

BLANCHE:

next couple of years?

BLANCHE:

what is your

MARIA:

what is your

MARIA:

vision?

MARIA:

I would love to know, but I think that I've been practicing presence so much

MARIA:

that for me, it's more about how I would like to feel regardless of where I am.

MARIA:

I read the power of now.

MARIA:

And

BLANCHE:

Mmm one of

MARIA:

I

MARIA:

think one of my

MARIA:

Mm-Hmm, . I, I read it every three months whenever I feel like I'm kind of losing it

MARIA:

But, for me it's like, I don't even know where I'm gonna be tomorrow, but

MARIA:

I know how I want to feel tomorrow.

MARIA:

And I think that I know how I don't want to feel because I felt it before.

MARIA:

I know that right now I have a lot of peace that I want to

MARIA:

keep regardless of where I am.

MARIA:

Tomorrow next week in a few months or in a few years I would love to

MARIA:

Grow my podcast as much as I can and share my message as much as I can,

MARIA:

but I also know that if TikTok were to be banned tomorrow and I were to

MARIA:

lose all of my social media tomorrow I wouldn't lose the peace that I have

MARIA:

right now because I don't depend on it.

MARIA:

And so for me it has been more a practice of Detaching from everything that I

MARIA:

feel like i'm depending on so that

MARIA:

If in a few years it doesn't work out, I'm still going to be okay.

MARIA:

I could say that in a few years I want to be married.

MARIA:

I want my podcast to be the number one in the whole world, but if it doesn't

MARIA:

happen, I'm still going to be okay.

MARIA:

we attach so much in the result and we're just so, attached on how it has to happen

MARIA:

and when it has to happen, that if it doesn't happen the way that we want it to

MARIA:

happen, we're just not going to be okay.

MARIA:

And I've been practicing intention without attachment a lot, where I know where I

MARIA:

want my podcast to be, but I also know that it's gonna happen when it's meant

MARIA:

to happen, and when I am going to be ready to appreciate it, which has been

MARIA:

a huge one for me, of things happen when you're ready to receive them.

MARIA:

And if they're not happening right now, you're probably not ready for them.

BLANCHE:

Yeah, no, it's 100%.

BLANCHE:

I remember

BLANCHE:

I used to co host a

BLANCHE:

TV show

BLANCHE:

and

BLANCHE:

I

BLANCHE:

wanted to be in a certain place, a certain

BLANCHE:

show, do a certain

BLANCHE:

thing.

BLANCHE:

But I was doing something that

BLANCHE:

sucked the energy out of me.

BLANCHE:

And I remember being my 20s.

BLANCHE:

I was like,

BLANCHE:

I just have to keep going,

BLANCHE:

hustle on the way there and be miserable on the way

BLANCHE:

there.

BLANCHE:

And one

BLANCHE:

day I

BLANCHE:

woke up and I was like,

BLANCHE:

I don't want to be miserable on the way

BLANCHE:

to something.

BLANCHE:

I want to be embodying of my

BLANCHE:

happiness in that moment.

BLANCHE:

And when I

BLANCHE:

did

BLANCHE:

that, I released the outcome.

BLANCHE:

And it's true, you go in a direction, but you have to release the outcome

BLANCHE:

because you don't know where it's going to lead, but you do know

BLANCHE:

how to protect your happiness within those moments

MARIA:

moments as much as The problem with depending your happiness on

MARIA:

the result is that You really don't know when you're going to be happy,

MARIA:

because you really don't know when the result is actually going to happen.

MARIA:

And so sometimes we're okay with being miserable on the way,

MARIA:

because we're like, okay, once I get there, I'm going to be happy.

MARIA:

But you really don't know when you're going to get there or

MARIA:

how you're going to get there.

MARIA:

And you can be miserable for a few days or a few months or even a few years.

MARIA:

you decide to be happy now, you really don't care about the end

MARIA:

result, because at the end of the day, you're going to feel the same.

BLANCHE:

And you don't know how long that

BLANCHE:

we're having this

BLANCHE:

life ride.

BLANCHE:

You know,

BLANCHE:

for me, I decided to incarnate here to have this

BLANCHE:

life.

BLANCHE:

So why

BLANCHE:

would I choose to be unhappy and

BLANCHE:

miserable on my way to somewhere?

BLANCHE:

I'm human.

BLANCHE:

So I'm going to have the experience I have.

BLANCHE:

and some days are going to

BLANCHE:

be rougher

BLANCHE:

than others,

BLANCHE:

but

BLANCHE:

decide that this is when you get to

BLANCHE:

be happy.

BLANCHE:

This is when you feel fulfilled.

BLANCHE:

I mean, this was great.

BLANCHE:

Is there

BLANCHE:

anything else that you want to

BLANCHE:

add to this that you would

MARIA:

that you would like them I don't know.

MARIA:

I always, when I close my episodes, I always just ask people what does

MARIA:

healing mean to them because I'm always super interested and knowing

MARIA:

what healing means to other people.

MARIA:

So I guess if I were to share my answer, I would just say that Sometimes we focus so

MARIA:

hard to heal that we forget to experience and for me what I've learned about healing

MARIA:

is that When you stop healing you actually start healing when you stop being so

MARIA:

hard on yourself on feeling 100 better And you actually start experiencing and

MARIA:

going out and being with your friends and being okay with being sad But then

MARIA:

at the same time experiencing everything that life has to offer you actually start

MARIA:

feeling better so People that listen to your podcast people that listen to my

MARIA:

podcast and people that listen to all of these self growth podcasts are ultimately

MARIA:

looking to heal and if I were to share a piece of advice or a message is Just stop

MARIA:

trying so hard to heal because once you stop trying you actually start healing.

BLANCHE:

hundred percent once you stop being the seeker

BLANCHE:

Then

BLANCHE:

you're

BLANCHE:

much more of the

BLANCHE:

activator,

BLANCHE:

the attraction to what you

BLANCHE:

want because you're not

BLANCHE:

seeking anything.

BLANCHE:

You're just

BLANCHE:

being.

BLANCHE:

well, it was great

MARIA:

was

MARIA:

great having you

BLANCHE:

appreciate it.

MARIA:

And I'm excited to see where your

MARIA:

journey takes Thank you so much.

MARIA:

I

MARIA:

appreciate that.

BLANCHE:

All right.

BLANCHE:

Thanks

BLANCHE:

everybody for tuning in to the Conscious

BLANCHE:

Home

BLANCHE:

podcast

BLANCHE:

and we'll see you next

BLANCHE:

time.

MARIA:

time.
