To what extent is education via traditional means still necessary?
When nearly all knowledge is at our fingertips.
When tutors and mentors are available 24/7 in the form of YouTube tutorials, ebooks, podcasts and blog posts.
When anybody can learn practically any skill, wherever and whenever they want, given they put in the time (and perhaps some money).
The internet has made access to the world's foremost experts in any field a commodity.
Even to the ones that are no longer walking this earth.
They may not respond to your messages.
But you can pretty much always observe them.
See what they do.
And what they don't do.
Best of all: you can learn from as many experts as you want.
Take only the good parts.
Or the parts that most relate to you and your situation.
With access to the internet, there is nothing stopping you from gaining that skill, taking that first step and realising your dream.
Who will you learn from?
