Immigration officers are now given the authority to completely deny a visa applicant due to a lack of satisfactory evidence determined in their application. Previously this infraction would be subject to a revision that would ultimately meet the officer’s needs, now any application that does not lead up to the standards of the officer may be subject to a complete denial.
