“I shall be filled with the vision of your glory.”  So says our introit this morning.  Do you believe that?  Do you believe, do you know, that that is your sure destiny as a Christian?  So often we mope through life and are sorry to wake up in the morning - but have you forgotten where you are going and what you are promised?  That you can even begin to taste and eat today?  Mother Teresa always said: ““Never let anything so fill you with sorrow as to make you forget the joy of Christ risen.”  In today’s liturgy Jesus says to us: “Never forget how much I want to fill you with the vision of my glory.”  This is why it is so important throughout the day to have these little pauses where, just for one minute, we make an act of spiritual communion, and unite ourselves to the Risen Jesus in the tabernacle - uniting ourselves to heaven and the overwhelming love and goodness of God which overcomes, it just billlows over and through, all things.  That helps us stay focusses, put darkness in its place, and gives us an experience of God’s love there and then in my office and home.
