Quotes:
I think there's a divine order in God. And I think that when you bypass that divine order, you have a difficult time.
You see that when Christ said, I'm gonna send you a helper. He didn't say, just talk to Me, or just go to the Father. But He goes, no, I'm gonna send you a helper. And He's going to unveil Christ to us.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you.
(The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost)For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God. For who among people knows the thought of a person except the spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God.
1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own Acts 1:8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and as far as the remotest part of the earth.”Now in the same way the Spirit also helps our weakness; for we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words;
All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of the promise who is a first installment of our inheritance, in regard to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
Takeaway:
It is very important that we honor the Holy Spirit within us. The Father sent the Holy Spirit to help us and unveil Christ. The Holy Spirit holds great power and authority, serving as our connection to Christ and the Father. He reminds us of Christ’s teachings and guides our responses to the Father.
Ron:
I think there's a divine order in God. And I think that when you bypass that divine order, you have a difficult time. People try to reach in just to Jesus or they try to reach in just to the Father. Maybe not consciously, I'm not sure, but they bypass or they could bypass or try to bypass, let's put that way, the Holy Spirit.
And I think He's a being in the Trinity, and I think there's the divine order of reaching into God. You see that when Christ said, I'm gonna send you a helper. He didn't say, just talk to Me, or just go to the Father. But He goes, no, I'm gonna send you a helper. And He's going to unveil Christ to us.
And then Christ obviously will lead us to the Father. I just think that the Holy Spirit is much, much more than has been portrayed in religion. There's so many instances, men and women of God in the Old Testament that had the Holy Spirit. But we see the real explosion, if you wanna say, or the real outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the day of Pentecost.
We have a glimpse of the power and authority that is in the Holy Spirit. He's like the open door. He is the impetus. He's what's been given to us. Christ is sitting at the right hand of the Father. The Father is in heaven, if you wanna put it that way. He's in, in a realm that we don't just reach into.
Christ is seated with Him. That's the point I think of what He was saying is I'm giving you the Holy Spirit so that you do have access to Jesus Christ and to the Father. You just simply do not bypass that.
Ed:
The Holy Spirit is the one that's gonna lead us into all things. It's like having a direct contact to the Father because it came from the Father.
He gave the Holy Spirit to us so that we can reach in, literally touch the Father. The Holy Spirit is going to lead us into a lot of these things.
Debbie:
And he reminds us of what Christ said so that we remember. And we're led perfectly what the Father has for us. He opens up the spirit because naturally we just don't get into the spirit by ourselves.
We need a helper. The Holy Spirit was sent from the Father, and He enables us. He shows us, he leads us. He directs us. He reminds us of what Christ spoke. He reminds us of who the Father is and how to respond. You ask me, I'll reveal it to you and show you how to move in the spirit.
Ron:
In the Holy spirit resides all the gifts, all the wisdom and knowledge, all the revelation. It all resides in the Holy Spirit. We don't have a shortage of God.
Debbie:
No, we don't. Not at all.
Ron:
The Holy Spirit is everything that we need to proceed and to grow. It needs to be emphasized how important the Holy Spirit is because again, I feel like people think, oh I received the Holy Spirit and I speak in tongues.
It's much, much greater than that. That's just a small, teeny drop in the bucket of what the Holy Spirit is and what He provides us in our walk with God.
Ed:
We have to figure out how to activate Him. And then when that happens, then all of a sudden we're walking in a different realm, but we have to believe it and walk in it.
Dale:
The Holy Spirit is simply the voice of God. Jesus said, I'll send you the comforter. Then He is called the helper. He's called the Spirit of truth. Why did He come to testify about Jesus. He will guide us, and I like that word. He will guide us into all truth. Every day we're into a lot of different things. And as we are looking to the Lord to lead us because we're into different things, He's gonna have different things to say.
The relationship with the Holy Spirit is something that we develop. And as we develop a relationship with the Holy Spirit, we'll see so many things you might say speeded up,because we've learned to wait on Him. We've learned to listen. And that's what's so beautiful about the Holy Spirit. It's all about listening.
How do we pray? Do we pray led by our own needs, our own desires, or do we look to the Lord, look to the Holy Spirit? How do we pray? What do I pray for? Teach me and what you said earlier, Ron, about the Holy Spirit. It's the most fantastic thing that God has ever poured out on His people. And it's probably the most abused, most misunderstood, because it's a lot of listening with the Holy Spirit. Human nature has a tendency to run ahead of things.
Ron:
You said that the Holy Spirit has been misunderstood and abused, and I think that is a very true statement. You can offend the Holy Spirit. And you can minimize Him you can ignore him. I don't want to do any of the follow any of those things. I wanna do the opposite. I wanna magnify the Holy Spirit. And actually in a lot of religion, a lot of religions, people are afraid of the Holy Spirit.
They think it's spooky and all that, and it's just the opposite. It's just a complete opposite. He's the one that walks alongside you. He's the one that's in you. He's the one that comforts you. He's the one that helps you. He's the one that was given to us. Our thinking needs to change.
Dale:
What you were talking about, the abuse and all that's happened in the past is because those people didn't have a relationship with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is many different things, but He's one thing. He is the channel of God to us.
