Shownotes

A proper musical treat for lovers of new music on this episode of Freshly Squeezed as we did into TWO new album releases and TWO band new tunes from FOUR very special bands from all four corners of the UK.

This weeks show features...

The Jacques: This band have one of the most creative and interesting albums I've heard this year in 'Make Repetition!' but it may not have come out by the time you listen to this... if so Jim's chat with the band will whet your whistle ahead of its release.

Yon Mon: We spoke to Yon Mon (aka Roy) in episode one as he released his debut single and now it's time to talk debut albums! A Manchester musical stalwart who makes music for the pure joy of it... great interview and a great album.

Manilla Times: Born in Wales and Ireland but now settled in Manchester, Manilla Times bring many influences into their music and new tunes Softboy McCoy is an instant indie banger (with some cutting social commentary too)... we all know a Softboy McCoy.

Jamie Higgs: From learning guitar at a mates house party to playing infant of thousands of jubilant Liverpool fans as the red's lifted the title, it's been quite a journey for Jamie Higgs... now armed with a load of brand new tunes he's ready to break through!

If you've got a musical suggestion for a band we should be checking out - let us know. Get in touch on the socials below or leave a comment/review wherever you listen to podcasts.
