An East Los Angeles AutoZone was ransacked twice within 24 hours as street takeovers hit the same intersection over the weekend. Video from Sunday shows a large masked crowd smashing windows and pouring into the store before fleeing with merchandise. Forget baseball, hot dogs and apple pie—apparently the new weekend activity is grabbing an alternator and running.

Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed says Medicare for All would change how Americans pay for healthcare: instead of insurance premiums, people could pay “a little bit more” in taxes. When pressed about people earning under $1 million, he didn't directly say no, arguing higher taxes would replace private insurance payments while providing healthcare without job-dependent coverage.

Missouri prosecutors say a man was injected with drugs, cut with a knife and shot with an airsoft or BB gun during what the victim described as a bizarre “sex game.” He says his alleged attacker then made him run from a hunting blind and shot toward him as he fled. The victim says he survived by hiding in the woods for about five days. Naked and Afraid apparently wasn't challenging enough
