Show Notes: • What if one is devastated? • Nothing is going right, the heavens are like brass, what do we do? • As one worships the Lord and they enter His presence, things simply drop off. • Many times there is a point where there are no words to express. • In His presence is fullness of Joy References: Deuteronomy 6:5 “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” Deuteronomy 28:23a “and thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass.” Ephesians 5:20 Always giving thanks for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father; Isaiah 30:21 And your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it.” Whenever you turn to the right or to the left. Quotes: • When you cannot do anything else, bleed worship. • It may not be easy at first, but the Lord will enable you to dispel the thing that is bothering you. • All He wants is us to worship. • Many times we come to that point where words won’t come out. • Words are not important anymore. It’s that spirit to spirit connection that you just let it happen. Takeaway: When everything is coming at you, when everything seems devastating, when you cannot think clearly…..worship the Lord.

What if you don’t feel like you could worship? What if you are in a place are devastated? Where you are hurting so badly you cannot do anything. When you can’t do anything else bleed worship. If you can’t do anything else because everything is falling apart. Everything else is being put to the test. You have nothing in your heart to give to the Lord you feel like you can’t give anything else. Then just worship. Just start singing a song. Just start singing something and just worship. It will dispel it. It may take time. It may not be easy at first. But the Lord will enable you to dispel the thing that is bothering you. But you are in control of your worship and your heart before the Lord and you can worship at any time, in any place, in any situation even if you do not feel like doing anything else.

That is another thing about worship. It is the fact that it is one of our weapons against the enemy. He is going to come and be accusing you, you don’t feel like doing anything. That is the distraction. You worship the Lord and that will break. As you reach in with all of your heart to the Lord. So, it is one of our offensive weapons that we have. It is just something that you could do and you don’t have to take what the enemy is giving you. Thinking that he’s covered the sun and you can’t see the Lord. No, you worship and he can’t stand in that presence. And by doing that you will reach into the Lord and dissipate from you the attack that he is doing to you.

Many times, we come to that point where words won’t come out. That’s worship, your feeling with your spirit and words won’t come out. You will feel something leaving your being and it reaches to Him and that in itself is probably the most pure worship that we can offer, cause it is offered in silence. And it is offered from the depth of our spirit, it is not mixed with flesh or soul it is pure spirit and that is the thing that He desires. And it is amazing how you can reach that one of two ways and that is out of a desire in your heart and out of a joy and a thanksgiving that you are just so filled you can’t speak or like you said Deb when you’re at the bottom of the pit and there is no way up. You can reach it there too.
