Welcome.

Hi, Martin.

Thank you very much.

And since we talked last time, you had been on an other pod.

Could you tell a little bit about that? It's in Swedish, but I want to do a shout out

to them.

Absolutely. Yes. I participated in a podcast called Seoul river, but river with a

w. So Seoul river with Sarah and Jimmy, two swedish podcasters that are excellent to be

around.

Great.

Yeah, they did an interview with me.

We talked about CBD, the fantastic benefits of

using hemp and cannabinoids.

Yeah.

Yeah, you could find pods podcasts, as you say in Swedish.

And we will talk about that also, how you could listen to this show.

Swedish and in English.

Could you repeat and tell about the titles of

your book?

Absolutely.

The swedish version is called Hampa Oxydia

Voder, and I use my full name there, Hannah.

Hell, I got that published by Whip Media, as

we mentioned last time.

And then I did a translation into an english

version called Hemp NCBD, a beginner's guide.

But my name on that one is Hannah Hill, and

that's available.

And it's basically a really simple start out.

I want to know more about the hemp plant and CBD.

So basic, a basic book.

That's a great introduction.

And when you have learned a little bit about

that and you get passionate about it and you want to learn more, then it's very handy to

have a book.

And that's why I want to do this episode, like

a bit size information, so you could chew it, you could think about it.

And then I did this reflection and aha.

Moment.

You could say, when I looked at the COVID of your book and also the great artwork of my co

host, Adam Tinkoff, and I was thinking how many you could say leaf it is on the plant.

And I counted to seven.

And when I looked at your book cover and I was

thinking when I saw when we'll talk more about in future episodes about Kuka Vida and Tibur

and Kim, and I saw when they had been at the plantation, you could say, and where we get

the great product or material, I saw, oh, that plant looks different.

It's more leaves.

And they almost, like, do they say that in

English or like a moustache or something like that?

So I've counted it to nine leaf, I think.

So if we start with that, it's the same big

umbrella family, but it's different plants.

So could you explain a little bit about that,

Tanner? The industrial hemp plant or the hemp plant

and the mariana plant and how they look different and how they are.

Different, as I understand it, and I strongly must emphasize that I am not a

researcher or an expert.

I'm just a hemp enthusiast.

But the Mariana plant has five great leaves, and then the little moustache in the bottom,

which makes seven leaves altogether on that plant.

But the hemp plant, the industrial hemp has seven big leaves and two small ones, the

mustache.

So that makes it nine leaves.

So if we are looking for folds, my book cover, for example, is not the industrial hemp plant.

It's actually another plant, illegal and the same.

And it's illegal in some areas and illegal in some other areas.

But the focus on this podcast is hi fi for hemp or industrial hemp.

But it's funny also that my co host, Adam Tinkov, have done the one with seven also.

And it could be that it's easy to do, and it's easy to get in your artwork or on a book

cover, and maybe when you do a search online, maybe that's what pops up to joke with that, I

have an interest in tea, and on my business card and on my tea site, teapotty media, it's

a creator called John Cox.

He's a cartoonist and a fine artist.

And he had done this creative thing and designed a tea leaf.

And then I got reflections and comments.

Is that what I think it is?

And I say it's a tea leaf.

What did you think it was?

So it's interesting how you could get an idea or an image of another thing.

So thanks for that explanation.

And the next step, then it's the same big

umbrella family, but different types.

So what's the main difference between the

industrial hemp and Mariana?

Well, the hemp plant is actually called industrial hemp and has many industrial uses.

The Mariana plant, in which I am no expert, it gets you high, period.

I'm not familiar with anything else it does.

So that's the major use of that plant, is to

get intoxicated.

Whereas industrial hemp might be like the

savior of the planet.

The plant itself, it has over 50,000 uses.

It's just for industrial uses.

We touched upon this last time that you can

make batteries out of hemp, cosmetics, beauty products, textiles.

It turns out that the bee population actually is attracted to the hemp plant and could very

well be like the savior of the bee population.

It has less than 0.3% of the THC, which is the

cannabinoid that makes you high.

A Mariana plant can, you know, the amounts of

THC could reach almost 30%.

Okay, that's great.

You are so good at summarizing this and

directly I have more follow up questions and thoughts.

So this we will do, and we have done it in the past, myself and also with, together with Kohs

Adam Tinker about applications and different ways of using it in industrial ways and for

consumers and so on.

So we will take that and also we will follow

along with your book.

So when you mention that with THC, the

product, and we will do a little bit about that and then we will talk more about it in a

separate episode and compare different, maybe brands and different types of industrial hemp

products.

But could you say about the product that you

are using? And myself included, and also included the

show notes and the link, my referral link in the previous episode, and I will do that

today.

So now you have found this kuka vida, because

I like the name Kuka Vida.

Vida is live and Kuka is.

What was that hawaiian name for something.

And we will.

Yeah. Means sustain, to sustain in hawaiian.

And Vida is latin for life.

So sustain life is what the company actually

means.

Yeah.

Yes.

It's a company that I got in contact with as

it started.

And their logo is purpose before profit, which

resonates with me.

They are really, really committed to living

with nature and having natural products.

And they have created an oil that is

biologically bioecologically grown.

It's Colorado made, which for those who don't

know, Colorado has really strong laws against pesticides, herbicides, mold, etcetera.

So if you have an oil that is made in Colorado, that is a quality stamp in itself.

And of course this one is, and it's a doctor's brand.

So they are really committed to bringing forth a product that has high quality without

skipping steps, that makes it less natural.

And they talk about going back to nature.

And what I love is that they are so personal and that resonates with me.

They are genuinely good people.

They are founders of the company.

They talk about the cocoa vida family, and they do take care of you as if they were a

family.

They have a great product and they try helping

local businesses by buying their stock, which is, you know, I'm a small swedish business

entrepreneur and it's really difficult sometimes to make ends meet.

And that's what they do over there.

Most of all, the product itself, it's got a

great hemp plant, they got a CoA, the certificate of analysis that covers it all.

So I can trust the product.

And the best part is that they claim that you

need 200 milligrams of cannabinoids each day to ignite your endocannabinoid system.

And, well, CBD cannabinoids, the oils are usually very expensive.

So what they've done is they've created the Bogo deal forever.

That means that you buy one bottle, you get

And that's great.

Yeah, that's why I chose them.

They are lovely.

And we will then have probably an episode of that also, how you, as I have a

podcast together with the co host about tea and we talk about tea economy.

So, for example, when you have a great tea, like for example, oolong or something like

that, and you could do several steepings of that, the cost for every teacup is very

affordable and you get a great value for the price.

What content of the product.

So thanks for explaining that in a good way.

And again to the listener out there, what's

your favorite product brand and how the different ways of using industrial hemp.

We talked now about the oil, the hemp oil that you use.

What do you say that in English? It's like in, in the bottle, you, you press on

the top and then you get drops drop by drop.

Oh, like drop, yeah.

So. And you could do it in different ways.

So we'll talk more.

Yeah, sorry, Martin.

No problem.

That's good.

That's a good thing.

To emphasize that I resonate a lot with this oil.

They have a fantastic production method too, which makes like almost 99% of the plant.

You know, the components remain and it's easy to remove the THC if needed, and it is needed

in Sweden.

But then again, everybody is different.

And if you find an oil you like, make sure it's legal, that it's not contaminated, and

that it actually contains a what it says on the label.

And if that resonates with you, that's great.

I'm not saying that.

Well, I am saying that this is the best, but that's for me, everybody's different, so just

do your research.

Great.

And that's why, you know, when you wrote the

book, the idea behind it to find how you source and how do you find and what's out

there and what's, what's CBD and what's hemp and etcetera.

Well, the thing to remember that when it comes to CBD and the other cannabinoids,

the answer to why they are so important is the endocannabinoid system.

And that's like our biggest system in the body and it strives for balance.

And when we are balanced, we have a possibility to heal and feel good about

ourselves.

So this balance, or homeostasis, as it's

called, can actually be induced, so to speak, by using a broad spectrum or a full spectrum

hemp oil, depending on where you live.

And just to wrap that up, I talked to Tibur

the other day and he told me this magical story about he was at a doctors fair talking

about the CBD oil or the broad spectrum and the full spectrum.

They have a PM am routine that is really exciting over in America and this man came who

had neurological injury.

So he went from stall to stall in this huge

fair along with this doctor in order to try and find some relief because he had spasms

from an accident in several years back and they were like epileptical spasms but he

didn't have epilepsy and somebody called out to Tibur said come over here, this is

something you need to talk to this man.

So he brought the CBD oil, gave him three

droppers and within 15 seconds the man was like in relief.

After a few minutes he stood up and everybody around was crying.

There was such a difference between those constant spasms and then the relief that the

man actually obtained by just balancing his endocannabinoid system.

There are so many magical, fantastic stories about what happens in your body when you do

balance this system though it's not always a 15 2nd relief but it could be.

So in order for you to feel balanced, working with your endocannabinoid system is of utmost

importance.
