If you are listening to this when it goes out live, then it's currently the

22nd of December, 2022, which means yesterday was my birthday also the

shortest day of the year, and it means Christmas is just a few days away.

So I dunno about you, but I'm in full on festive relax mode.

So I don't wanna go deep with today's episode.

So for today's episode, I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas and

a very happy New Year and just give you a few updates about what's going

on in my world as we start the new.

First up, if you haven't yet thought about your strategy for next year, then

I ask you to please consider that use that time between Christmas and New Year.

If you've got a few free hours to sit down and think about what you wanna achieve

next year, what are your sales targets?

What are your big goals that you want to make sure happen and

see if you can get them down.

On paper.

Also use the time to reflect back on everything that happened last year, what

went well, what didn't go so well, what could have been better, and learn from it.

And the final thing I wanna make sure you do is to sit down

and put in your holiday dates.

If you don't put your holiday dates in at the beginning of the year, guess what?

You just won't end up on holiday cuz you'll get too busy.

So sit down, work out when you wanna be on holiday.

If you've got children, plot out the school holidays.

That always helps.

I always do that so I don't get too busy over the school holidays.

And yet, get it all in your diary so that you can start the year fresh

and just relax and enjoy yourself.

As for me in the new year.

Well, there's some big changes coming in my world.

The podcast is here to stay, so you'll be happy to hear that.

And I've got loads of great guests already booked in, as well as some great

solo episodes and some great interviews with my members as well to inspire you.

So lots of great things to come in 2022.

My word for the year or phrase for the year in 2022 is, Level Up.

That's because it's time for me to level up my offerings and also because I

wanna help you all level up to wherever you are at in your wedding business.

Whether you're just starting out, whether you've been going for a while, or whether

you're ready to expand, grow, and scale.

I wanna help you where you are at level.

Up.

I'm bringing out a brand new program in the new year called

the Wedding Pro Business Builder.

This is gonna help make sure everyone can level up The program's gonna cover

everything from getting started with branding, making sure your messaging's

correct, and you know who your ideal customer is through to marketing

techniques, wedding fairs, social media.

Connections, how to build relationships with other suppliers and venues and

all the way through to the finances, sales, making sure you hit those

sales targets and know your numbers.

So you're running a business, not a hobby.
