The significance of 1.5°C

Climate change is in the news just about every day now, but if you're not up to speed on the latest climate science and want to know where we're headed as a planet, a good place to start would be the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)'s 6th Assessment Report, which was published in March of 2023. As the planet rapidly approaches the 1.5 degree Celsius threshold for global warming, there's a growing sense of urgency among those who believe environmental disaster awaits us on the other side. We discuss the IPCC's report and what it and the 1.5 degree Celsius threshold means for businesses.
