Speaker:

You are now tuned in to

the mom CEO suite podcast.

2

:

I'm your host, Felicia,

wife, mom, and entrepreneur.

3

:

In this podcast, I'll be sharing my

mompreneur journey along with strategies

4

:

that will help you build your online

business operations in a sustainable way.

5

:

The goal is to help you build a business

that fits into your lifestyle as a

6

:

mom who values putting family first.

7

:

We will also hear the experiences

and expertise of other moms

8

:

with service based businesses.

9

:

You'll get a peek into our journeys,

so you'll know that you aren't alone.

10

:

Motherhood gets hard.

11

:

Entrepreneurship gets hard.

12

:

But together, we can do hard things.

13

:

Welcome to the suite.

14

:

Microphone Array (Intelr Smart Sound Technology for Digital Microphones)-1:

Hey friend, welcome to another episode.

15

:

Thank you for being here.

16

:

Today, I'm going to be sharing how I am

currently driving traffic to my podcast.

17

:

There's a few things to that I'm

doing, but there's one strategy.

18

:

That's new.

19

:

That I'm actually still

in the middle of that.

20

:

I, as I'm recording.

21

:

This episode that I

want to share with you.

22

:

So I'll get into that in a little bit.

23

:

Um, but for those who may not know, I have

24

:

this year, mainly the

second half of the year.

25

:

I've prioritized, podcasting and email.

26

:

As my main marketing

strategies for my business.

27

:

, and I'm doing that because for me

as a mom in business who is working

28

:

from home with the little one.

29

:

So like, those are most

sustainable for me.

30

:

For this season that I am in now.

31

:

And I talk about this more in episode 24,

where I am sharing what I believe to be.

32

:

, some effective marketing

strategies for mompreneurs.

33

:

So if you want to check that out, the

link will be in the show description.

34

:

, but.

35

:

How am I currently driving

traffic to my podcast?

36

:

Let's get into this strategy.

37

:

That I mentioned that I'm sort

of in the middle of right now.

38

:

So I recently.

39

:

Accepted an invitation to

participate in a bundle.

40

:

And this was my first time

participating in a bundle for those

41

:

of you who don't know what that

is, it pretty much works like this.

42

:

There's an organizer.

43

:

And they gather.

44

:

X amount of people I've

seen bundles that have.

45

:

A smaller amount, like 10 people,

the bundle that I am currently

46

:

a part of has 25 individuals.

47

:

All of the individuals

contribute a resource.

48

:

And everyone promotes the bundle.

49

:

During a specified promo period.

50

:

So the.

51

:

Glenda that I'm participating in

now, the promo period was one week.

52

:

I've seen them where it was shorter.

53

:

Like four or five days.

54

:

The organizer pretty much

sets the parameters for how

55

:

the bundle will operate.

56

:

And during the promo period.

57

:

, someone who's interested

in these resources.

58

:

They will sign up for

the bundle as a whole.

59

:

And once they do that, then they will be

redirected to a web page where they're

60

:

able to select which specific resources

out of the bundle they want to download.

61

:

Now.

62

:

There is pay bundles.

63

:

There's free bundles.

64

:

I've seen both of them.

65

:

The one that I am

participating in currently.

66

:

It's a free bundle.

67

:

So the idea is, , people

who are signing up.

68

:

They get these resources that they

would normally have to pay for.

69

:

They get them for free only during

this specified promo period, they

70

:

can sign up and then they'll only

have access to the bundle for.

71

:

Uh, a certain timeframe it's like

30 days or something like that.

72

:

Maybe it might be 45 days,

but there's an exploration.

73

:

Period.

74

:

One, when they can access the bundle.

75

:

. So this again, I mentioned was my

first time participating in a bundle.

76

:

I really did not know what to expect.

77

:

In terms of people signing up

for my particular resource.

78

:

And currently.

79

:

, there's.

80

:

Maybe, one more day left in the

promo period for this bundle.

81

:

But so far, we've had about 115 people.

82

:

Sign up for my resource, my resource.

83

:

Is a training called how to use systems.

84

:

To build a sustainable.

85

:

Business.

86

:

Now.

87

:

I think those are amazing results.

88

:

I, I didn't know what to expect,

but I didn't expect that that many

89

:

people would sign up for the resource.

90

:

And I think.

91

:

It happens for a lot of different reasons.

92

:

Just thinking through the whole process

and how the bundle was set up and.

93

:

Who hosted the bundle by the way.

94

:

, Andrea Singletary of mama term, I

preneur, she hosted this bundle and

95

:

it was the social media detox bundle.

96

:

And it's really how to build

a sustainable business.

97

:

Without relying on social media.

98

:

So I think the fact that it's

very much in alignment.

99

:

With the messaging in my business.

100

:

And the audience.

101

:

Is the same audience as well, targeting

mompreneurs or moms in business.

102

:

And also when I looked at

the resources there weren't.

103

:

If there were any other, I missed it,

but I didn't see any other resources

104

:

that were related to system specifically.

105

:

And so I think all of those

things played a part into.

106

:

Y participating in this particular

bundle has been successful.

107

:

Those are just some things

for you to consider.

108

:

If you are considering

, participating in a bundle.

109

:

And, , you also have to think about,

you know, the type of person that is

110

:

downloading free resources, someone who

was in the phase, in their business.

111

:

Or someone who was willing to still DIY.

112

:

Or do some done with you type of service?

113

:

And their avatar fits within the

membership that I will be launching.

114

:

So everything was very much

in alignment with this bundle.

115

:

I'm very pleased with the results.

116

:

So, how am I using this to

drive traffic to my podcast?

117

:

I want the bag and what I did.

118

:

With my resource, once people signed up.

119

:

In my email marketing.

120

:

Platform.

121

:

Which has flow desk.

122

:

And if you want to get 50% off

of your first year, I do have an

123

:

affiliate link that you can use.

124

:

But in flow desk, what I did

is, um, anybody who signed up.

125

:

For this bundle.

126

:

They will be tagged in my.

127

:

Email list as the name of the bundle,

and then they will automatically

128

:

be entered into a workflow.

129

:

That's also a named for the bundle.

130

:

So just so I can know.

131

:

Who's who.

132

:

They receive a series of emails over a

course of, I believe it's seven days.

133

:

I'm not a hundred percent sure, but they

immediately will get their download.

134

:

That they signed up for.

135

:

And then a couple of days later,

what I've done, they get an email.

136

:

And the email.

137

:

Contains a link to a curated playlist.

138

:

Now this is a playlist of podcast

episodes that I created in my.

139

:

Podcast manager.

140

:

I'm not sure exactly what they

call them, but I use captivate.

141

:

, To host my podcast.

142

:

That's what it is.

143

:

I podcast host.

144

:

And they have.

145

:

A feature where you can create a playlist.

146

:

And so I created a playlist

of my podcast episodes.

147

:

That were related to the.

148

:

Resource that I included in this bundle.

149

:

So they are getting more

information, more value.

150

:

, by listening to these podcast episodes.

151

:

Again, without being charged

for any of this information,

152

:

So with this bundle, not only have

I increased my email subscribers.

153

:

But I've also used it as an opportunity

to drive traffic to the podcast.

154

:

So these people, they are

interested in systems.

155

:

They are interested in building

their business sustainably.

156

:

I included podcast episodes that

specifically focused on those things

157

:

and gave them more insight and

resources related to those topics.

158

:

Now I have not done the numbers

yet because like I mentioned,

159

:

we're in the middle of the bundle.

160

:

I'm not sure how many people

are going to stay on the list.

161

:

Or I haven't done the numbers in terms of.

162

:

You know how many people listened.

163

:

From this bundle.

164

:

But it is something that

I'm going to be tracking.

165

:

And it's a strategy that I

wanted to share with you.

166

:

That's perhaps you can use

in your business in some way.

167

:

Either exactly or modified.

168

:

So that's one of the current ways that

I'm driving traffic to the podcast.

169

:

Outside of that.

170

:

Typically, what I do is weekly.

171

:

I send out emails.

172

:

I sent two emails per week, and one

of those emails is specifically.

173

:

Designated for announcing

podcast episodes.

174

:

And so everybody on my list will get an

email when a new podcast episode releases.

175

:

And then in terms of social

media, I have specific days that

176

:

I am sharing about the podcast.

177

:

I usually share.

178

:

The podcast graphic and then two

audio clips from the podcast.

179

:

And so we've released

episodes on Tuesdays.

180

:

So our promote on Tuesdays

promote on Thursdays.

181

:

And then also on Saturdays,

those are the designated days.

182

:

And any additional thing that I might

share on other days, that's just extra.

183

:

I also, . There's different things

behind the scenes, in the business.

184

:

For example, the podcast guests

. They have to fill out a form.

185

:

As a part of the process for

onboarding once they complete the form.

186

:

It redirects to my podcasts.

187

:

Play your page.

188

:

So there's a page where all

of my podcasts episodes live.

189

:

So they're redirected to that page.

190

:

Um, anybody who.

191

:

Inquires about being a guest.

192

:

They are also must they complete

the form are redirected to the page.

193

:

If I have any type of event,

for example, the virtual

194

:

networking mixer for mompreneurs.

195

:

Once people sign up for that, again,

they're redirected to the podcast.

196

:

Play your page.

197

:

And so this is just.

198

:

Uh, giving another opportunity for

people to know about the podcast.

199

:

I also use flow desk too.

200

:

Create a page of links and I

include the podcasts, play your

201

:

page on that page of links.

202

:

And I promote that link and my

emails, my social media, et cetera.

203

:

So right now.

204

:

Those are the main ways that

I am promoting the podcast.

205

:

And of course, when we have

podcast guests, They receive promo.

206

:

, graphics and audio to share

with their audience as well.

207

:

And, uh, . Next year in 2024, I will be.

208

:

, testing out some advertising.

209

:

But I will share that

journey along with you guys.

210

:

As I get to that.

211

:

But I definitely want it to

come in and specifically share

212

:

that bundle strategy with you.

213

:

Let me know if this is something

that you're going to implement

214

:

in your business would love to

hear how you also are driving.

215

:

Traffic to your podcast.
