Shownotes
Tonight, we travel to Stockholm for Midsummer, the brightest day of the Swedish year.
We cross bridges between islands, wander the old wooden houses and flower-filled paths of Skansen, and step into a celebration of maypoles, music, flower crowns, and golden northern light. Around the maypole, the dancing seems almost endless — the day turning into night, the night turning softly back toward morning.
But slowly, the movement begins to quiet. The flowers, the water, the painted houses, and the never-quite-gone light drift into memory, until even the brightest day of the year releases us gently into sleep.
