Shownotes

It has been a shocking time in cricket following the Azeem Rafiq whistleblowing case. What’s clear is that this is not just about cricket – it’s about sport and wider society in general. We all have a duty to make our team members feel safe and included. As Nelson Mandela said, “sport has the power to change the world, it is more powerful than governments. It speaks to people in a language they understand – sport creates hope where once there was despair.”

I reflect in this episode how sport is so powerful, what we can learn from the Ubuntu philosophy, and the need for everyone to feel included .Tune in to this episode as I share some empowering advice from Business Psychologists Binna and Jo Kandola about the positive aspects of inclusivity and how to create a fair and inclusive environment. We also hear from Owen Eastwood, author of the critically acclaimed book ‘Belonging’, about how to sustain and celebrate diverse cultures.
