103 - God Leads Us Through, Not Around
In this heartfelt episode, I share a powerful truth that has shown up in my life again and again: God doesn’t always remove our challenges—He leads us through them. From biblical stories to personal reflections, this episode explores the importance of enduring trials instead of avoiding them and how God uses hardship to shape who we are becoming.
Biblical Examples of Going Through: I reflect on the Israelites at the Red Sea, Jesus in the Garden, David fleeing Saul, and Job’s loss. These stories all echo the same message—God meets us in our struggles and walks us through them, not around them.
Avoidance vs. Endurance: I discuss how choosing to avoid life’s trials only leads to more pain and fewer choices. Endurance, on the other hand, builds strength and faith. God doesn’t call us to be passive dreamers but faithful doers.
Spiritual Formation Over Comfort: The idea that God is more concerned with shaping our eternal character than giving us temporary relief really hit home. I share how that message personally affected me and why it matters to all of us.
Takeaways:
This episode is a call to courage, faith, and perseverance. When we’re faced with suffering or waiting, it’s tempting to seek a way around it. But what we truly need is to go through it—with God by our side. He’s not asking us to walk alone; He’s walking every step with us. Through every storm, He’s shaping us into the people we’re meant to be—wise, faithful, and built for eternity.
Whether you’re facing uncertainty, fear, or heartbreak, I hope this message encourages you to keep walking, keep trusting, and remember: the path through might be hard, but it’s holy.
