And now, this week's episode.
Speaker:
One of the questions I see a lot of online
Speaker:
for new podcasters especially,
Speaker:
is how many episodes to launch a new show with.
Speaker:
And the answers I see can be varied
Speaker:
from just the one episode of your trailer to 10 episodes so people can binge on it.
Speaker:
And to be honest the answer is maybe somewhere in between.
Speaker:
A good idea is to launch a trailer before the main podcast launch.
Speaker:
That way you can make sure your show is approved on various podcast apps
Speaker:
and you can use it as a teaser and promo slot for the upcoming show.
Speaker:
After that, generally about 2-3 episodes is really good.
Speaker:
That way you're giving new listeners a taste of your show
Speaker:
but you're not overwhelming them with too many episodes that they'll lose interest
Speaker:
or make them think I don't have time for this at the moment.
Speaker:
Remember, podcast listeners time is finite, so yes, get them interested but don't overwhelm them.
Speaker:
Until the next time, happy podcasting.
