To celebrate World Bee Day on 20th May, Matthew and Cindy look at the relationship between bees, honey and standards.

Matthew speaks to bee and honey experts Selwyn Wilkins and Adrian Charlton from the international science organization FERA.

He chats to them about the importance of bees as pollinators and providers of ecosystem services. And also, about the new international standards being developed for bee products, and in particular for honey.

Matthew also visits Bee Urban in South London to meet beekeeper Barnaby Shaw and his honeybees.
