There are some things you need to repair, some things you need to replace, and some things you need to remove. If you're not sure what to do, talk to a real estate professional. Most of the ones that I know will come and talk to you for free. They will walk through your home, point some things out to you, and they hope that when it comes time to sell your home, you will enlist their professional services to get your home sold.
