What part of the world are you in today?

I'm from Africa, Zambia to be specific.

How did you come to meet Jesus?

Well, I met Jesus while I was young.

So what happened was my mother was a pastor, and she taught us about the importance of being born again.

So that conversation stuck to the tablet of my heart until one time that we had a conference at our church when they called the article of those that would love to receive Jesus Christ.

I stood up.

I was 12 years old, and I just didn't look at the fear.

I didn't look at the people.

I made the decision to follow Jesus, and since then I have been saving Christ.

What was the reaction of your mother, your family?

Well, to her she was excited, and it was a great joy.

When you look back then, would you say you knew that you were called to be a pastor?

I didn't know much about what God had called me to become, but as I began saving him, I started realizing the things that God would show me through the dreams that I would have, and I started realizing them coming to pass and through the burdens that would be placed upon my heart, and then I started to put the pieces together, and I started now to see the clear vision of who God wanted me to be.

What was life like in between the time of you accepting Christ and then going through school and then getting into ministry?

Well, to begin it all, it wasn't something that was easy because, like I mentioned, when I got born again early, so I would find that my mates would be in the world doing things that are out of the Word of God, and they would label me the church girl.

They would label me too serious.

They would label me all sorts of things, but then I held on to the Word of God, and I was just looking forward to do what the Word of God says.

So it wasn't an easy decision, but I made a personal decision to say I'm not going to let go of the Word of God.

I'll stand despite what people would say.

So ministry coming in, it wasn't also something that was easy on my own, but through the help of the Holy Spirit, I was able to walk through every journey with him.

Is it something that kept you academically?

Would you say that accepting Jesus actually helped you with your studies?

It definitely did, because if I didn't have Christ in my life, I think I would have gotten lost in the things of the world, and I would have lost my prayer.

I was lost in the academics back when I was in college at Natural Resources Development College doing a diploma in agricultural education.

So I went there with the heart to save God, and to pursue my studies.

So I found so many distractions along the way, you know.

Schools offer those school bachelors programs that they will invite people from the world.

They will go, they will take people to their friends.

Knowing Christ and me carrying the banner Word of God inside of me hindered me or stopped me from overcoming those types of temptations and those types of traps that the enemy laid right in front of me.

So my academics were preserved because the Bible says, I ordained you.

So there is always something that God has placed upon your life, and every place where you go to, it has already been ordained by God.

So that knowledge helped me realize that to take me away from the presence of God.

What did you study in school?

You talked about the diploma in agriculture.

Was that the end of your studies?

No, I did further studies in just different certificates, advanced certificates.

I did some human resource management, theology, discipleship, as well as diplomacy.

Does agriculture still exist in your life as a main source of a career path?

Yes, it does.

Actually, it's the main source of my income because after studying agriculture, I hoped to get a job in the agriculture sector, which didn't happen for about seven years.

And I realized to say I had the knowledge with me, and I was delaying what God has already blessed me with.

So what I decided to do was to start up a business with my own means, on my own, and do agriculture on my own.

So I could plant my flowers, I could plant trees, and I established that business.

So that knowledge that I acquired, I've been able to utilize it, and it's doing marvelous things.

Do you believe that gardening and ministry go hand in hand?

Have you seen connections with that?

Yes, definitely.

Because when we go to Genesis, when he created the green pastures, he created the vegetation.

That was in Genesis 1 and verse number 11.

Then God said later, the land produces vegetation, seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruits with the seed in it according to their various kinds.

So God created vegetation.

God wanted us to actually work on the land.

God wanted us, he blessed us with this.

So it is something that God ordained for us, but we normally overlook it.

Is it popular for women to do and be involved in agriculture the way you are?

I would say it's not, because many women feel agriculture is tiring.

They feel it's time consuming.

They feel it's, because you're dealing with soil, it's dirty.

Others feel they belong to a second class of white-collar jobs.

But I feel agriculture is smart, because you are planting what you want to see.

You are bringing to life something that doesn't have life.

So it is something that is very spiritual.

It's something that is a blessing, and it's something that is loving.

Before we started recording, you told me your name, and of course mentioned your husband.

How did you come to meet your husband?

Well, I met my husband in the cover belt, in a different province from where we are now.

I met him through my sister.

He knew my sister, and I got to know him from her.

And from there, we just connected, because he was in ministry.

He loved to pray.

And there was just that connection that we felt.

And we began friendship.

We didn't begin in a relationship.

We began friendship, and that friendship matured into something that God has kept us going until today, till we said our vows.

How long have you been married?

10 years.

Do you have children?

Yes, three of them.

Do they love Jesus, your children?

So much.

They call themselves the friends of Jesus.

Congratulations.

That's amazing.

So tell me about the ministry, and how things are evolving with your ministry, please.

All right.

So our ministry is called Dominion Chapel International.

Dominion Chapel International, it was established two years ago, because before that, we were serving under a certain church.

He was an assistant pastor.

But then God spoke to him, and led him to start up this church that we have now.

And so we obeyed the word of God, and gathered ourselves, gathered our resources, looked for a place, and we began our ministry from there.

So this year, we're celebrating our second year anniversary in ministry.

What has been the major part of your ministry that you're enjoying?

So the major part of ministry that I'm enjoying currently, is the gift of healing.

Healing of hearts, and healing of souls.

We have come to find ourselves in a place where we're filled with people that have gone through so much hardship, so much brokenness.

And God, through the work of the Holy Spirit, has been able to use us.

Sometimes I will have prophetic instructions and insights, and as well as dreams, most importantly.

And God will just use us to speak to this person, and their lives will transform.

So I call that something that God has been doing that is so evident, and I'm proud that God is able to just do that through us, and through us, and I'm humbled to God.

Who taught you the interpretation of dreams?

Well, the interpretation of dreams were taught, and are still taught, by the Holy Spirit.

Because I had so many challenges when I was growing up.

I started dreaming as early as eight years.

So what would happen was, I would have a dream, and I share it, and the dream would happen exactly as I dreamed it.

But then I didn't know how to nurture the dreams.

So I found myself, myself in a situation where if I dreamed something bad, it would happen exactly as I dreamed it.

I didn't understand that when God shows me, there are certain things that He will show me that He wants me to change, and there are certain things that He will show me that can't be changed, but I just have to be ready about it.

So I started to look for means and ways to understand my dreams, and I started to pray, and to ask God specifically in that area.

Because I didn't get much mentorship, because many people really don't understand their dreams, and I was one of them.

So I drew closer to God.

My dreams made me draw closer to God, because every dream that I had, I would wake up puzzled, and asking God, what could it mean?

What is this?

And I came across a scripture that says that the Holy Spirit is our helper.

And since then, I invited the Holy Spirit in my life, and I said, Holy Spirit, every dream that I have, I want you to help me.

And I have indeed seen the Holy Spirit help me.

And that scripture that says in Job 33, verse number 17, that dreams come to show us of the vision of why God has called us.

I have seen it happen in my life, and my dreams have been something that are real.

My present life has been affected by the dreams, and I thank God that I've been able to understand, and help others understand too.

Imagine you're five years from today, listening to this conversation.

What is a message in your voice you'd leave for yourself?

Believe in yourself, and you'll become that which God has said you'll become.

In closing, is there anything else you'd like to share?

Well, I would just love to encourage each one that is listening to this podcast, that God is real.

God is true.

And when you decide to follow Jesus, I want you to follow him with all your heart.

Don't leave any stone unturned.

Don't leave any door open for the enemy.

Close all doors of distraction.
