Take a look because it's got the property taxes in there.

You say you might go, hey, I can only afford 2,900 bucks a month.

But if you all of a sudden have to pay another 3, 4, 500 bucks in property taxes, that changes the level of house you're looking at.

Speaker C:

And there's a decent chance those property taxes are going to go up.

Speaker C:

It's like HOAS.

Speaker C:

You'll see many times in HOA.

Speaker C:

Oh, it's only $75 and they're going to mow your front lawn a month.

Speaker C:

Awesome.

Speaker C:

A couple years, that could be 250 bucks a month.

Speaker C:

They're doing the same thing, so pay attention.

Speaker D:

My mom's have tripled her HOA fees over the last.

Speaker D:

She's been there 20 years, to be fair, but still, yeah, it's a lot.

Speaker D:

And taxes have never been friendly in the Northwest.

Speaker C:

No.

Speaker B:

In the second hour, Eric and John are joined by renowned interior designer Wendy Glasester.

They had some business in Japan.

So the hardest thing in like:

And we did an entire small apartment complex, like 12 units without me ever getting on the phone with them.

It was all via email.

And that was the biggest trust thing even back then because I've got appliances I've never seen before.

Speaker C:

It's completely different.

Speaker C:

Cooktops have little grills built in them.

Speaker C:

Nothing is standard.

Speaker C:

I'm using a design program that's not friendly with that because it's made for American stuff and not Japanese stuff.

Speaker C:

So it was really interesting to do, but it gave me some trust in the process.

Speaker C:

But that was one of those that after I was done and they decided there was some laws that changed where.
