Summary:

We have entered into the day of sabbath rest. All our striving and works must now give way to a complete trust and rest in Him knowing that He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He has started a good work and He will finish it.

Show Notes:

  • We are in the seventh day of Sabbath rest.

  • We must stop doing our own work and enter into His rest.

  • We are to labor to enter into His rest.

  • All of our talents and abilities are to be laid at His feet and He is the one who anoints us to move in these things.

  • We enter into this rest by trust and revelation worship.

  • We walk with Him many times not knowing where we are going, but just trusting Him to lead us.

  • We must dump our thinking and evaluating and put on His mind of trust.

Quotes:

  • We're in the seventh day, and that is the year of the Sabbath rest.

  • You stop contending for things and you simply put your weight down on the Lord and say, "Lord, you've called us into this Kingdom Sabbath rest."

  • It's a labor to enter into that place where God Himself is doing the work and we've entered into a place of rest where we trust what He's doing, and rely on Him to complete the work.

  • The Sabbath rest is more than we understand. It is a place in God. It's a level of rest.

  • All of the effort and all of the abilities and everything He's given us; if the anointing of the Lord comes upon us, we move in those things, but there is a level of rest.

  • We have to be careful in how we think about this, that we don't allow this between our ears to interfere with His moving in the Spirit leading us and guiding us to take the steps.

  • This is the day of the fulfillment of every prophecy that's ever been spoken. This is the day that the seals on the book are being opened.

  • ...I believe that you enter in through trust, but as we enter in through trust, we come into this revelation worship, because we're a people revelation. And we're to know by revelation, how things are done.

  • ...sometimes you walk like Abraham walked, not knowing where you're going. That's kind of where you start out. I don't think that's where we end up. I think we end up in His presence and revelation, worship.

  • "I only do the things I see my Father do, and I only speak the things I hear My Father speak." The Sabbath, a day of rest of the scriptures referred to that is ceasing from our own labors.

  • Put on His mind so that you know how to think. Get out of your own thinking. Get out of your own evaluating, your own explanation of things, your own understanding. And just trust.

Transcripts

Ken:

We're in the seventh day, and that is the year of the Sabbath rest. It's not a ritual, and that's what we want to get away from because the Sabbath rest is an experience. It's a personal experience. You stop contending for things and you simply put your weight down on the Lord and say, "Lord, you've called us into this Kingdom Sabbath rest."

We're so used to working our way into the kingdom that it's hard for us to stop. We want to keep doing things. Come up a little higher. The thing that we do when we come up a little higher is we stop struggling in ourselves. We let our weight down on the Lord because He's the one that's bringing us up higher.

We're laboring to enter into that rest. But how do we do that? Are we gonna rest on our human abilities to do that? I don't think so. It's a labor to enter into that place where God Himself is doing the work and we've entered into a place of rest where we trust what He's doing. We rely on Him to complete the work.

Doesn't He say in His word, He's the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. Lean not on your own understanding. In all of your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. He is directing our path. We are going to be those who are led by His Spirit totally.

Now, does that mean we stop laboring? No, we labor to enter into that rest. When God finished all of His work in the Book of Genesis, He rested.

He stopped working because it was a completed thing. The Sabbath rest is more than we understand. It is a place in God. It's a level of rest. All of the effort and all of the abilities and everything He's given us; if the anointing of the Lord comes upon us, we move in those things, but there is a level of rest.

We're ceasing from our own labors, our own ways of thinking, because this is God by His spirit taking us in and completing us in this new day.

Mike:

God made this day special for man. That's Mark 2: 27, I think it is. The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. This is why He made it special back in Genesis the second chapter.

It was special back then to a certain degree and applied back then to a certain degree. But I believe He was looking down to today with anticipation of what He wants to unfold for us in this hour. This is the day of the fulfillment of every prophecy that's ever been spoken. This is the day that the seals on the book are being opened.

We have to be careful in how we think about this, that we don't allow this between our ears to interfere with His moving in the Spirit, leading us and guiding us to take the steps. Because we still gotta be that moving car that's led by the Spirit, that's driven by the Spirit. to accomplish the things that we were sent here to accomplish. We have a destiny to fulfill, and that destiny is to loose creation from the futility that He subjected it to.

Ron:

This new realm - the open door to it seems to be a realm of trust, and rest. Trust is a big key, key word into it. And the other key, a big key word that we're entering into. is revelation worship. Because I believe that you enter in through trust, but as we enter in through trust, we come into this revelation worship, because we're a people revelation. And, and we're to know by revelation, how things are done. But it doesn't just happen, starts with trust first. And sometimes you walk like Abraham walked, not knowing where you're going. That's kind of where you start out. I don't think that's where we end up. I think we end up in His presence and revelation worship. There's a certain amount of rest you come into in trust, but there's a greater rest when you know.

Ken:

Thinking outside the box. I think that's so important for us to get out of our concepts of how things are gonna happen. We have entered into a whole orther arena, and it's called the Sabbath Day of Rest.

Monnie:

Revelation worship, and we wonder what is Revelation worship for? It's to know the Lord. How do we get to know the Lord our God the Father is by Revelation worship.

Bill:

What God is saying now is that the next step, this new age, this new day is the kingdom, and it will be totally disoriented, totally different. You have never walked this way before, but we've been prepared for it.

Janet:

"I only do the things I see my Father do, and I only speak the things I hear My Father speak. The Sabbath, a day of rest of the scriptures. referred to it as ceasing from our own labors.

Where we've been so far is good. The Lord's bringing us to another place to let go of just the human evaluation, and everything. We embrace, even beyond our understanding what God's thankfully doing for us. Thank You Lord.

Debbie:

In the Word says, put on the mind of Christ. Put on His mind so that you know how to think. Get out of your own thinking. Get out of your own evaluating, your own explanation of things, your own understanding. And just trust. It doesn't feel comfortable, and we're having to apply into a new area where we've not been before. It's gotta be an awareness that the Lord knows what He is doing in us, and He's going to complete it.

He's the one that's going to complete it. Let go and let God. Holy Spirit, just make it, make it real to me. Because it's not something I've ever seen or known or entered into before.

Lois:

There's no striving and it's such a peace and rest. I think we've started to enter into it.
