in 1987, producers Richard Donner, Jennie Lew & Joel Silver brought to the big screen a great cast of actors & actresses to give us the spectacular movie called Lethal Weapon. Richard Donner directed and Shane Black & Jeffrey Boam wrote it. Mel Gibson stars along side of Danny Glover as a cop on a suicidal edge since losing his wife & becoming partner to Detective Murtaugh (Danny Glover). They stumble upon a huge drug dealing operation while trying to help one of Murtaugh's old war buddies. The further the case goes along the closer they become as partners and eventually just like family. This set off a franchise of movies and a TV show years after the movies started.
