Kellan Fluckiger:Welcome to your ultimate life. This
Kellan Fluckiger:background and again, I hope you're watching the video. I say
Kellan Fluckiger:that every time, but I really mean it, because I picked the
Kellan Fluckiger:backgrounds to be valuable. This background is a picture of a
Kellan Fluckiger:karate or jujitsu or other martial art kung fu dojo. Dojo
Kellan Fluckiger:depends on what style you practice and all that sort of
Kellan Fluckiger:thing. But it's a place of work, and you can see this symbol on
Kellan Fluckiger:the wall. You can see the hardwood floor. Can see the
Kellan Fluckiger:heavy bags hanging and I love that. Today's episode is about,
Kellan Fluckiger:right? It's called Rise to the prize. Rise to the prize, right?
Kellan Fluckiger:And there's so many things that have happened this summer. I'm
Kellan Fluckiger:recording this in the summer of 24 I don't know when you're
Kellan Fluckiger:going to listen to it, but there's so many things that have
Kellan Fluckiger:happened this summer that illustrate this point of rising
Kellan Fluckiger:up, of making choices that get you to the place you want to be.
Kellan Fluckiger:And hey, so what are you doing this summer? I have a question.
Kellan Fluckiger:Let's start there. What are you doing this summer? So right
Kellan Fluckiger:after we record this next week, we're going to spend a week, a
Kellan Fluckiger:little more week and a half or so, over on Vancouver Island.
Kellan Fluckiger:Now I live in Edmonton, Alberta, which is, you know, the frozen
Kellan Fluckiger:north. There's seven or eight, several 100 miles north of
Kellan Fluckiger:Montana. And I measured it once when we lived in Phoenix. It's
Kellan Fluckiger:1800 miles due north of Phoenix. I used to joke, if you drew a
Kellan Fluckiger:line between Phoenix and Santa Claus, you go through my front
Kellan Fluckiger:yard. We moved up here in 2016 so eight years ago, as I record
Kellan Fluckiger:this to take take care of my wife's mother, who was, is 92 be
Kellan Fluckiger:93 in September. She was eight years ago, 84 or 85 then, and
Kellan Fluckiger:was still living by herself and getting along okay, but, you
Kellan Fluckiger:know, needing to have a lot of help getting the doctor's
Kellan Fluckiger:appointments and those kinds of things. And Joy's brother lives
Kellan Fluckiger:up here, but he didn't really want to participate in that. So
Kellan Fluckiger:we moved up here to do that because, you know, I our our
Kellan Fluckiger:view is, you don't put your parents in old folks homes, or
Kellan Fluckiger:you don't put them somewhere unless it's so bad you have no
Kellan Fluckiger:choice. In other words, you don't have the chops or the
Kellan Fluckiger:facilities to take care of them. And most, most folks, as they
Kellan Fluckiger:get older, aren't that bad. They could be taken care of anyway.
Kellan Fluckiger:That's just my personal view. My own mother is almost the same
Kellan Fluckiger:age. She's 90. Oh, let's see she'll be 90. No, that's not
Kellan Fluckiger:true. 91 391. In September, enjoys mom b, 93 so there's a
Kellan Fluckiger:couple of years difference. But anyway, there's my sister. My
Kellan Fluckiger:older sister is living with her mother, my mother, as she ages
Kellan Fluckiger:and needs a lot of care, etc, etc. So to me, that's just what
Kellan Fluckiger:you do, and you can agree or disagree. It doesn't matter, but
Kellan Fluckiger:that's why we moved up here. Anyway. I spent a lot of years
Kellan Fluckiger:in karate, karate, right Tang, sudo and shooty Tay, which is
Kellan Fluckiger:Okinawan, old style, and different styles, different
Kellan Fluckiger:places, and spent a lot of time there, and I learned a lot of
Kellan Fluckiger:respect, a lot of hard work. I did a lot of things that I never
Kellan Fluckiger:thought I could do in the process. And I did some
Kellan Fluckiger:competition, and not a ton, but I did some competition and
Kellan Fluckiger:actually won a couple things in the years that I did it. What I
Kellan Fluckiger:learned most from that is the work and the discipline and the
Kellan Fluckiger:focus that it takes to achieve those things. Now, just like
Kellan Fluckiger:everything, there's hard schools and there's easy schools.
Kellan Fluckiger:There's in academics, there's hard schools and there's easy
Kellan Fluckiger:schools. In any school, there's hard teachers and easy teachers.
Kellan Fluckiger:Funny, when I was in university and I was a mathematics major, I
Kellan Fluckiger:had a math scholarship. I took a class the university had about
Kellan Fluckiger:25,000 you know, mid, mid, large university, about 25,000
Kellan Fluckiger:students. And in that population of 25 there was only one one
Kellan Fluckiger:section offered of this particular math class. And in
Kellan Fluckiger:that math class are only 25 students, so only one in 1000
Kellan Fluckiger:students takes, you know, this kind of advanced mathematics.
Kellan Fluckiger:And it was, it was very difficult. It was a very
Kellan Fluckiger:challenging class, and the teacher was very challenging.
Kellan Fluckiger:And the reason I mentioned that as an example is because it was
Kellan Fluckiger:funny. Think about your own college or post grad days where,
Kellan Fluckiger:you know, we asked him, you know, does the final is it going
Kellan Fluckiger:to take all three hours? And he looked at us and said, at least.
Kellan Fluckiger:I. A lot, and we're like, oh, man, heart sank, you know, that
Kellan Fluckiger:kind of thing. And it was a really tough class. And I
Kellan Fluckiger:studied, and I did okay. I ended up with a B plus in that class,
Kellan Fluckiger:and there was no A's, it was one other B plus, and the rest of
Kellan Fluckiger:the 23 went down from there. So he was a tough class, tough
Kellan Fluckiger:grader. And everything my point in saying that is just, it's
Kellan Fluckiger:another example of making a choice about rising to the
Kellan Fluckiger:prize. I wanted to do good, so I put in extra time and extra
Kellan Fluckiger:effort. When I did martial arts, I was, you know, a bit of a
Kellan Fluckiger:fanatic. I put in extra time, extra effort. I worked out at
Kellan Fluckiger:home a lot, some not always, but sometimes every day, and
Kellan Fluckiger:sometimes twice a day. Uh, many times twice a day. If you count
Kellan Fluckiger:the days I went to the dojo, and there were a lot of days. There
Kellan Fluckiger:were a lot of those too. So that's the reason I put this up.
Kellan Fluckiger:Rise to the prize. Now I mentioned this summer we're
Kellan Fluckiger:we're going to Vancouver Island, we're eventually going to move
Kellan Fluckiger:there. We've been going to do it the last two or three summers,
Kellan Fluckiger:and it hasn't worked out the last this summer, and last
Kellan Fluckiger:summer, it's not working because our Ukrainian family, the mom,
Kellan Fluckiger:is in the middle of applying for a permanent resident card and
Kellan Fluckiger:changing, changing where she lives is not, you know, doesn't
Kellan Fluckiger:help with that, and there was no crush for us to go, except we
Kellan Fluckiger:weren't dying to spend another freezing cold winter here, but
Kellan Fluckiger:we're going to. And so here we are, but we love the week 10
Kellan Fluckiger:days, or 11 days or something that we're going to spend over
Kellan Fluckiger:there. This summer has been the summer of performance, the
Kellan Fluckiger:summer of amazing things. Wimbledon was this summer, and
Kellan Fluckiger:we watched a bit of this and that, and a youngster beat
Kellan Fluckiger:Djokovic. Djokovic, sorry, Djokovic again. Beat him last
Kellan Fluckiger:year. And you know, Djokovic is in his late 30s, and so he's on
Kellan Fluckiger:his way out, and this new guy, Alcaraz, is on his way up. And,
Kellan Fluckiger:you know, will cherish this second victory over over
Kellan Fluckiger:Djokovic. There was also the Copa Cup, which is the North,
Kellan Fluckiger:South American, Central American, you know, the Americas
Kellan Fluckiger:Cup. I think it happens every two years. And not surprisingly,
Kellan Fluckiger:Argentina won that. Messi is the, I think, the best player in
Kellan Fluckiger:the world right now, at the same time overlapping, there was the
Kellan Fluckiger:Euro Cup and that I was interesting, and Spain was
Kellan Fluckiger:victorious there. And you know what's funny, I never paid
Kellan Fluckiger:attention to soccer much, and about my wife and as a fanatic
Kellan Fluckiger:and really follows it. So in our marriage, now almost 17 years,
Kellan Fluckiger:I've become not only acclimated, but interested, and I know some
Kellan Fluckiger:of the players and can follow it. And the other thing that's
Kellan Fluckiger:happened is hockey. She's gotten me interested in hockey. I
Kellan Fluckiger:didn't even know what I mean. I knew kind of what it was, but
Kellan Fluckiger:didn't know anything about playing. In the first games I
Kellan Fluckiger:watched of hockey, I could not follow the puck. You know, it
Kellan Fluckiger:was Things were moving too fast, and I didn't know what was going
Kellan Fluckiger:where now, of course, I can and enjoyed it this last year. It
Kellan Fluckiger:ended in June, Edmonton, our city, got to the finals. Who
Kellan Fluckiger:Edmonton Oilers got to the finals and lost in seven games.
Kellan Fluckiger:It was quite a quite a ride, that final series. On top of
Kellan Fluckiger:that, there's the yearly version of the Tour de France, and that
Kellan Fluckiger:happened this summer. And I don't know who took the yellow
Kellan Fluckiger:jersey there. We used to watch that off and on pretty
Kellan Fluckiger:religiously, but then they changed how it was available.
Kellan Fluckiger:So, you know, I couldn't find it. She couldn't find it. Wasn't
Kellan Fluckiger:worth subscribing to a set of new this, that, and the other,
Kellan Fluckiger:besides that, all the rest of that stuff that was going on.
Kellan Fluckiger:And then we're capping it off with the Olympics. The Olympics
Kellan Fluckiger:are haven't started yet, as I record this, but by the time you
Kellan Fluckiger:see it, they will be done. And the Olympics is the place where
Kellan Fluckiger:people literally rise to the prize. They put effort and
Kellan Fluckiger:energy. And one of the things I like about the Olympics, and
Kellan Fluckiger:more than the events themselves, is the stories about the people
Kellan Fluckiger:and Olympics, the movie Cool Runnings, about the Jamaican
Kellan Fluckiger:bobsled team that took place in the 88 Olympics in Winter
Kellan Fluckiger:Olympics in Calgary, Alberta. Well, Calgary is just three
Kellan Fluckiger:hours south of here, and that big tower that they have, and
Kellan Fluckiger:you know, the Olympic Park is still there and runs in the
Kellan Fluckiger:winter time. And you know, people use it for skiing and
Kellan Fluckiger:stuff. It's not a particularly difficult mountain. And we're
Kellan Fluckiger:Calgary is close to Banff and some of the most beautiful ski
Kellan Fluckiger:resorts in the world are, you know, Lake Louise and sunshine
Kellan Fluckiger:and Mount Doom. It's called Mount Norway, but I always call
Kellan Fluckiger:it Mount Doom. Seems like every year somebody dies on the front
Kellan Fluckiger:run on that called Lone Pine. Anyway, it doesn't matter. The
Kellan Fluckiger:point is, all of these things are happening where people have
Kellan Fluckiger:made. Decision in their lives to rise to the prize. They've made
Kellan Fluckiger:a decision to do the work that it takes. They made a decision
Kellan Fluckiger:that no matter what is in the way, and like I said, the
Kellan Fluckiger:Olympics, I love them because it's it's a treat to hear about
Kellan Fluckiger:the stories. There was one Olympics where, you know, they
Kellan Fluckiger:told the story of a, I think it was a skeleton race, which is
Kellan Fluckiger:crazy, right? You lay face forward on a very low sled, and,
Kellan Fluckiger:you know, it is all just one person on a very low sled, on an
Kellan Fluckiger:icy run, like a bobsled kind of thing. And man speeds are
Kellan Fluckiger:incredible. Accidents are deadly anyway. So one year, a few years
Kellan Fluckiger:ago, I don't know if it was the last winter Olympics, it might
Kellan Fluckiger:have been in 2000 what would that have been 2020 but anyway,
Kellan Fluckiger:about a lady who, you know, told her effort, and she'd been to
Kellan Fluckiger:the Olympics before, and this was going to be her last one,
Kellan Fluckiger:and she had kids, and told about the story of her family and her
Kellan Fluckiger:husband supporting her and getting up at Oh Dark 30, you
Kellan Fluckiger:know, to to practice and practice and practice. And this
Kellan Fluckiger:time that Olympics, she won the silver medal. So she did place,
Kellan Fluckiger:placed on the podium, fulfilled a lifelong dream, couldn't quite
Kellan Fluckiger:get the gold, but still, a silver medalist in the Olympics,
Kellan Fluckiger:in any sport is awe inspiring forever, right? So I want to ask
Kellan Fluckiger:you, and I ask myself this all the time. Kellan, do you rise to
Kellan Fluckiger:the prize? We've got examples all around us, and I just listed
Kellan Fluckiger:a whole bunch of sporting events. But you know, sports
Kellan Fluckiger:isn't the only thing I notice. Tell us is a telephone company
Kellan Fluckiger:up here. No kidding. Tell us, telephone right? One of the big
Kellan Fluckiger:ones. And they have, they sponsor all kinds of creative
Kellan Fluckiger:stuff, filmmaking things and indigenous, which is native, you
Kellan Fluckiger:know, filmmaking classes and courses and competitions. And
Kellan Fluckiger:they give some pretty significant money, 10,000 25,000
Kellan Fluckiger:I even think I saw something that was $200,000 I don't know,
Kellan Fluckiger:but at least I know for sure I saw 25 and a 10 and more than
Kellan Fluckiger:one of them to different groups of people to encourage their
Kellan Fluckiger:creativity, to do what, to rise to the prize, to get the
Kellan Fluckiger:obstacles out of the way of doing what you want to do in
Kellan Fluckiger:Your heart. So where do you want to be now all the sporting
Kellan Fluckiger:examples are done. I gave those film examples which are telling
Kellan Fluckiger:local stories, stories of local people, the Alberta stories,
Kellan Fluckiger:Edmonton stories about different people and topics. And the field
Kellan Fluckiger:was wide open. One of the interesting things that takes
Kellan Fluckiger:place in Edmonton every August is the Fringe Festival. Now, I
Kellan Fluckiger:didn't know what a Fringe Festival was 10 years ago, just
Kellan Fluckiger:I don't know why. I just didn't there's the largest Fringe
Kellan Fluckiger:Festival in the world is in Edinburgh, Scotland. The second
Kellan Fluckiger:largest Fringe Festival in the world is here in Edmonton,
Kellan Fluckiger:Alberta, like, Who would have thought? And for a week or 10
Kellan Fluckiger:days, there are drama productions, you know, there are
Kellan Fluckiger:plays, there are stand up, there's performers of all kinds,
Kellan Fluckiger:there's musicians, and they call it a Fringe Festival, because
Kellan Fluckiger:it's, you know, it's out there stuff, right? You know what I
Kellan Fluckiger:love about that, the courage and commitment. Those are two
Kellan Fluckiger:completely different things. Courage is the ability, the
Kellan Fluckiger:willingness to do something in the face of difficulty or fear.
Kellan Fluckiger:One definition, I understand, there's many, but in the face of
Kellan Fluckiger:difficulty or fear, when it would seem easy or not, to etc,
Kellan Fluckiger:etc, choosing to do something because you believe it's right.
Kellan Fluckiger:That's real courage, and that's one thing that it takes to get
Kellan Fluckiger:up and submit yourself to an audience. Number one, you don't
Kellan Fluckiger:know how many people are going to come to your audience.
Kellan Fluckiger:There's venues in that Fringe Festival all over the place,
Kellan Fluckiger:around white Ave. White Ave is kind of the hip place in
Kellan Fluckiger:Edmonton. It's a few miles long, and it's lined with, you know,
Kellan Fluckiger:cafes and that kind of stuff, eclectic shops. And you can buy
Kellan Fluckiger:stuff there. You can't buy other places, things like fluvog
Kellan Fluckiger:shoes. I don't know if you've ever heard of that, but John
Kellan Fluckiger:fluvag, he makes weird shoes. Okay? He has a shop on there, or
Kellan Fluckiger:he did. I bought a couple pairs of shoes there. Why? Because I
Kellan Fluckiger:do that anyway. Along that of North and South, all over
Kellan Fluckiger:there's all these venues where people come to perform, to play
Kellan Fluckiger:their trade, their music, or their drama or their poetry. Day
Kellan Fluckiger:or whatever. And there's all kinds of them. It goes on for
Kellan Fluckiger:about 10 days, and you can get tickets to all these and see all
Kellan Fluckiger:kinds of crazy stuff. Here's the interesting thing, the courage
Kellan Fluckiger:that it takes to do that is the same courage for you or for me,
Kellan Fluckiger:to rise to the prize, the commitment is separate, which
Kellan Fluckiger:is, how bad do I want to do a good job? How bad do I want to
Kellan Fluckiger:do it? Well, I carry a piece of paper in my wallet, and it
Kellan Fluckiger:simply has the words, how bad written on it, and it is there
Kellan Fluckiger:to remind me at any time I pull it out, how bad do I want
Kellan Fluckiger:something? I've made lots of goals, as I'm sure you have.
Kellan Fluckiger:Where do you want to be? What is your Olympics, last event, or
Kellan Fluckiger:last episode, I talked about, what is your Olympic event? And
Kellan Fluckiger:this is really talking about the courage and commitment it takes
Kellan Fluckiger:to get there, and this is your encouragement. I spend a lot of
Kellan Fluckiger:my life living someone else's life, someone else's script,
Kellan Fluckiger:someone else's direction, trying to prove myself. And I'm sure
Kellan Fluckiger:you know the drill. Maybe you've done some of that, or a lot,
Kellan Fluckiger:being a people pleaser, trying to prove something, get stamps
Kellan Fluckiger:on your forehead of approved. It's one thing to get done with
Kellan Fluckiger:that, to declare your independence and say, I'm going
Kellan Fluckiger:to live my own life. It's quite another thing to then say, Okay,
Kellan Fluckiger:what is that life? What is that life about and that doesn't come
Kellan Fluckiger:easy. It's hard to figure out what you want your life to be
Kellan Fluckiger:about, especially if you've lived a long time doing what
Kellan Fluckiger:you're supposed to do or following just the norms. Now
Kellan Fluckiger:I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the norm, whatever
Kellan Fluckiger:that is. You know, grow up, get an education, get a job, maybe
Kellan Fluckiger:have a family, you know, make a lot of money, do whatever,
Kellan Fluckiger:that's fine. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with
Kellan Fluckiger:that. But you know what I know? I know that most people are
Kellan Fluckiger:unhappy with that surveys indicate anywhere between 7070,
Kellan Fluckiger:sorry, and 85 people. 85% of people are unhappy in their
Kellan Fluckiger:jobs, and the reasons most often given are it's not fulfilling.
Kellan Fluckiger:Interestingly enough, it's not I don't get paid enough. It's not
Kellan Fluckiger:that. Most common reason is I'm not happy now I was that I
Kellan Fluckiger:worked for 30 years in a career. Doesn't matter what it was I
Kellan Fluckiger:did. Well, I raised to got, you know, got up to executive
Kellan Fluckiger:positions and made good money, but I was not happy my life, my
Kellan Fluckiger:personal life, is a wreck. And I did a lot of things that, you
Kellan Fluckiger:know, I've had to fix and, you know, go to rehab and do a bunch
Kellan Fluckiger:of stuff for so what at any given moment today, you can
Kellan Fluckiger:decide I'm going to forge the path where my heart is calling.
Kellan Fluckiger:You can decide that. You can decide it today. Now, often
Kellan Fluckiger:people make a bunch of excuses. I have kids, I have obligations,
Kellan Fluckiger:I have family, I don't have time. Nonsense. I call bullshit
Kellan Fluckiger:on all of it. All that means is, if you have a set of commitments
Kellan Fluckiger:that you've already made, and you're going to keep them now,
Kellan Fluckiger:some people walk away from them. And I'm not saying go do that.
Kellan Fluckiger:What I am saying is, if you're going to keep them, you can also
Kellan Fluckiger:create time and energy and a ramp and a path to get to your
Kellan Fluckiger:prize. What is your prize after I left that 30 year career in
Kellan Fluckiger:2007 which has now been 17 years. I've spent these 17 years
Kellan Fluckiger:figuring out what my prize was after I had all the work and
Kellan Fluckiger:help for the first three or four years to clean up my own act.
Kellan Fluckiger:You know, that was necessary for me to even decide what the prize
Kellan Fluckiger:was. So maybe you need some help. Maybe you need a lot of
Kellan Fluckiger:work to clean up. I don't know what even that means, but to
Kellan Fluckiger:make repairs, to clean up your act. You know, crap from the
Kellan Fluckiger:past, I had a pile of that, and I made it bigger by carrying
Kellan Fluckiger:around guilt, shame and all the rest of the nonsense. And so it
Kellan Fluckiger:was really slow going for a while, but after a few years, I
Kellan Fluckiger:was able to do that. Then I could really focus on Okay, now
Kellan Fluckiger:that I have cleaned that up the best I can. And interestingly
Kellan Fluckiger:enough, you don't need anyone's permission to clean it up, you
Kellan Fluckiger:do the best you can with what you know and what you have to
Kellan Fluckiger:clean it up if you need to. I'm not even saying you need to, but
Kellan Fluckiger:I sure did. Okay, so what? Then it's not just about that. It's
Kellan Fluckiger:about making your own choices. If you weren't happy. What? Make
Kellan Fluckiger:you happy. I wrestled with that. I didn't know. I just didn't
Kellan Fluckiger:know because my mind and thoughts were so full of what I
Kellan Fluckiger:was supposed to do and all the contamination. So I finally,
Kellan Fluckiger:finally, but I wouldn't give up. Now that's one of my
Kellan Fluckiger:characteristics, is I never quit, never, never, never,
Kellan Fluckiger:never, never. I go slow, I fall on my face, I get sidetracked
Kellan Fluckiger:all kinds of stuff, but I don't quit. So I kept moving along,
Kellan Fluckiger:sometimes slow, sometimes fast, and I finally realized that the
Kellan Fluckiger:story of my life, it's pain, it's destructions, it's
Kellan Fluckiger:creations, the recovery, the growth. That story was a
Kellan Fluckiger:powerful story. It became my mission, then to share the
Kellan Fluckiger:things I learned in that journey or on that journey with others
Kellan Fluckiger:that might benefit so as I made my own growth path with all the
Kellan Fluckiger:help I needed, counselors and coaches and all kinds of stuff,
Kellan Fluckiger:I realized, wow, this journey should be documented and shared.
Kellan Fluckiger:So that's what I've done. That's why I've written 20 books. I'm
Kellan Fluckiger:on my 20th, 19 books, with number 20 underway, and created
Kellan Fluckiger:this podcast and La talk radio and all the rest. So my question
Kellan Fluckiger:to you is, what is your prize? Where do you want to go? Now I
Kellan Fluckiger:have a method, a system called the triple helix, to help people
Kellan Fluckiger:find it, to examine your skills, that you have, what you've been
Kellan Fluckiger:selling in the marketplace, the jobs you've had, the work you've
Kellan Fluckiger:done. What are your natural gifts? What has your life
Kellan Fluckiger:experience taught you often the most painful and difficult
Kellan Fluckiger:things, but when you look at it for tools and learnings and
Kellan Fluckiger:power, you'll find them, I promise. So in the process, I
Kellan Fluckiger:take people through to get that you can find your most effective
Kellan Fluckiger:offering, your most effective passion, the thing you want to
Kellan Fluckiger:do, it calls you, it draws you, it yanks on you. But even though
Kellan Fluckiger:you feel that, you have to choose it. Okay, I know I feel
Kellan Fluckiger:it. I know I feel it. I'm scared. I don't know. I don't
Kellan Fluckiger:know how blah, blah, blah, blah. I don't care if I don't know
Kellan Fluckiger:anything. I'm choosing it. That's the thing. Courage and
Kellan Fluckiger:commitment to rise to the prize. So what I decided in that
Kellan Fluckiger:initial growth process of three or four years is I wanted to be
Kellan Fluckiger:of service. I didn't want to get another job and create another
Kellan Fluckiger:career, except I wanted to be in the people encouragement
Kellan Fluckiger:business. I wanted to be a beacon of light, a vessel of
Kellan Fluckiger:love, a conduit of power, a champion of hope. I have a
Kellan Fluckiger:client who calls herself a hope dealer. I love it. I wanted to
Kellan Fluckiger:do that. I yearned. I ached, because as I saw the changes
Kellan Fluckiger:that happened to me, I thought, I know I can help people with
Kellan Fluckiger:that are struggling like I was, doesn't have to be with the same
Kellan Fluckiger:things, but the same feelings of worthlessness, of powerlessness,
Kellan Fluckiger:of, you know, people pleasing. I'll never get there. I'm living
Kellan Fluckiger:some other script you can dump that. That's what your ultimate
Kellan Fluckiger:life's all about. If you haven't been to www, dot, your Ultimate
Kellan Fluckiger:life.ca. Go right now. Www, dot, your Ultimate life.ca. There's
Kellan Fluckiger:stuff there that costs no money. Five master keys to creating
Kellan Fluckiger:your ultimate life. People say ultimate all the time these
Kellan Fluckiger:days, which is like, Yeah, whatever, some other stupid
Kellan Fluckiger:buzzword. But the truth is, I have walked that road. I now
Kellan Fluckiger:live a life of purpose, prosperity and joy, coming from
Kellan Fluckiger:a place of everything, 100% the opposite. I've helped many
Kellan Fluckiger:people do the same. My mission this year is to help 250 million
Kellan Fluckiger:people. Wow. What a number, right? Realize who they really
Kellan Fluckiger:are, who you really are, a Divine Being with infinite
Kellan Fluckiger:capability that no matter where you've been or what's come
Kellan Fluckiger:before, it's never too late to matter greatly and have big
Kellan Fluckiger:impact if you want to do that now, if you don't want to do
Kellan Fluckiger:that, this is the wrong show for you, because my show, my
Kellan Fluckiger:encouragement is for people who say, I've had enough of the old
Kellan Fluckiger:I know where those road goes, where those excuses go. I know
Kellan Fluckiger:it. I hate it. I'm done. Here's how you rise to the prize. You
Kellan Fluckiger:have to decide you're going. Someone doesn't casually say,
Kellan Fluckiger:Yeah, I'm gonna, I think maybe I'll try to go to the Olympics.
Kellan Fluckiger:They pick a year, they pick a program or a sport, and they go
Kellan Fluckiger:to work. Nobody accidentally fell up a mountain. Nobody
Kellan Fluckiger:actually accidentally won Wimbledon. They picked a thing
Kellan Fluckiger:and went after it. So if you want to. Rise to the prize. You
Kellan Fluckiger:got to figure out what is your prize? I am honestly not amazed
Kellan Fluckiger:anymore, but in the first years of my coaching work, I was
Kellan Fluckiger:completely amazed at the number of people that couldn't answer
Kellan Fluckiger:this question, what do you want? Like, what do you really want?
Kellan Fluckiger:First answers, money. Freedom, fine. Assume you have all the
Kellan Fluckiger:money you need. No one has any call on one minute of your time.
Kellan Fluckiger:Who are you? Because vacationing and sitting on the beach and
Kellan Fluckiger:doing nothing forever gets boring fast. I can tell you that
Kellan Fluckiger:it's boring and it doesn't fulfill you any more than a job
Kellan Fluckiger:you hate, or a relationship where you're being taken
Kellan Fluckiger:advantage of, or something like that, those are damaging. So is
Kellan Fluckiger:doing nothing that isn't fulfilling? It might seem like
Kellan Fluckiger:it right now, and it's hectic and you got too much to do and
Kellan Fluckiger:you're going, I can promise you it's not fulfilling. So when you
Kellan Fluckiger:get past all that. What do you want when I get with people and
Kellan Fluckiger:I'd love to talk to you. So this is an invitation. This is an
Kellan Fluckiger:invitation. I'm inviting you to connect with me so we can have a
Kellan Fluckiger:conversation about your ultimate life, about your most effective
Kellan Fluckiger:offering, your triple helix, the thing you are passionate about
Kellan Fluckiger:that you want to do in the world. Love to do that with
Kellan Fluckiger:you've never been able to, I've never, not found that people
Kellan Fluckiger:say, Oh, I don't know what I want to do. And never is never
Kellan Fluckiger:happens if we do the work together anyway. So where do you
Kellan Fluckiger:want to be when people talk about you can say, Oh yeah,
Kellan Fluckiger:she's the gal that what I know, what I want people to say. He's
Kellan Fluckiger:the guy that is always encouraging. He can help me do
Kellan Fluckiger:anything. He always listens. He has power to help me lift my
Kellan Fluckiger:eyes, my sight, my heart, and go at it again so I get where I'm
Kellan Fluckiger:going. That's, you know, that kind of language I want that to
Kellan Fluckiger:be spoken in the dark when I'm not there. Because it's true.
Kellan Fluckiger:What do you want the truth of your soul to be Now, when you
Kellan Fluckiger:think about that, and I challenge you to take the time
Kellan Fluckiger:to do that, why are you not there right now? Like, why is
Kellan Fluckiger:that not already true? And I don't mean someone saying, Well,
Kellan Fluckiger:you know, they're a nice person, nice guy, nice gal. That awesome
Kellan Fluckiger:thing you want etched on the memory of your life on your
Kellan Fluckiger:tombstone or something I don't know, that really defined you.
Kellan Fluckiger:How come you're not doing that right now? What's in the way
Kellan Fluckiger:keeping you from being, having, exploring, expressing that fully
Kellan Fluckiger:as an artist or an author or a business owner or an
Kellan Fluckiger:entrepreneur or a parent or a visionary? If you are not right
Kellan Fluckiger:this minute, living to your fullest extent all the love and
Kellan Fluckiger:passion you can enjoy, you can have every single day, I want to
Kellan Fluckiger:know why not. And more importantly than me knowing you
Kellan Fluckiger:need to know why not. Because until we know why we're not
Kellan Fluckiger:doing it right now. It's hard to change things
Kellan Fluckiger:now, after you decide, well, I'm not there because and the list
Kellan Fluckiger:may be long and often our list points outward, but none of
Kellan Fluckiger:those things matter. Nothing outside of you matters. What
Kellan Fluckiger:people think of you as, none of your business. The barriers and
Kellan Fluckiger:obstacles outside of you are none of your they're not none of
Kellan Fluckiger:your business, but you can't control them. Okay? You can get
Kellan Fluckiger:out of situations and so forth. But those aren't the big
Kellan Fluckiger:barriers. The big barriers are the ones inside. What you think
Kellan Fluckiger:about yourself, what you believe about yourself, what you
Kellan Fluckiger:perceive about your opportunity. I'm too late. It's it's too
Kellan Fluckiger:late. I'm too old. It's to whatever. I don't have enough
Kellan Fluckiger:money. I can't I don't know how all that stuff is, the real
Kellan Fluckiger:barriers, the stuff that you believe about you that's
Kellan Fluckiger:different than your divine nature with infinite
Kellan Fluckiger:possibility. And I use infinite carefully. I don't use it just
Kellan Fluckiger:to say some big word you really do. You're created by God, so
Kellan Fluckiger:you have infinite capability. And I had to ask myself that a
Kellan Fluckiger:lot, why am I not using it? Why am I not doing this? And that
Kellan Fluckiger:was the starting place for growth. So when you think about
Kellan Fluckiger:where you really want to be, who you really want to be, how you
Kellan Fluckiger:want to show up in life every day, and what you want to be
Kellan Fluckiger:true about your life, exact details, then the question, the
Kellan Fluckiger:final question to take is, what does it take for you to rise up
Kellan Fluckiger:and grow now? Nobody falls up a mountain. You walk up one step
Kellan Fluckiger:at a time, so jumping from where you are to complete in one go
Kellan Fluckiger:isn't going to happen. It's. Growth doesn't happen that way.
Kellan Fluckiger:Muscles aren't built that way. Fortunes aren't built that way.
Kellan Fluckiger:Brands aren't built that way. It takes a step at a time, and
Kellan Fluckiger:today is a good day to start go to the mirror, look in the
Kellan Fluckiger:mirror, in your own eyes, deeply, and say, I love you. I
Kellan Fluckiger:love you for even thinking about this, and then start trying on
Kellan Fluckiger:things I am, what I'm the very best, what like? What lights you
Kellan Fluckiger:up? If you have trouble with that, again, I invite you to
Kellan Fluckiger:reach out. Here's what I know from my journey of the last 17
Kellan Fluckiger:years, the first three or four, I had a lot of work to do to
Kellan Fluckiger:clean stuff up. The last 13, I have been pursuing diligently
Kellan Fluckiger:that journey, and I have answered the questions, and
Kellan Fluckiger:today I live the ultimate life purpose, prosperity and joy and
Kellan Fluckiger:so coming from death and getting to where I am like I know the
Kellan Fluckiger:road, and I know all the excuses I used to use and the people and
Kellan Fluckiger:things I used to blame, and you're free to continue to do
Kellan Fluckiger:that, or you're free to change it right now, One declaration,
Kellan Fluckiger:one decision, one tiny step at a time. Look up your mountain.
Kellan Fluckiger:Take one step. What would be one step closer to that dream you
Kellan Fluckiger:have? Why not take it today. My mission is to help two 50
Kellan Fluckiger:million people, and that includes you. I'd love to talk
Kellan Fluckiger:to you. I'd love to help you, because the view from the top is
Kellan Fluckiger:glorious, beyond description, and you deserve to have
