When you think about a ‘veteran’, what picture comes to mind? Maybe an elderly, white man adorned with WW2 medals? But, like society as a whole, Scotland’s veteran population is diverse and broad. This time, Hannah and Richard hear from ex-military women at Lothians Veterans Centre, and speak to Dougie Morgan, who spent years representing LGBT+ military charity Fighting With Pride in Scotland.
