Aisha:

Welcome to Beyond the Session with Aisha Shabazz

Aisha:

it's time for another round of It depends the q and a with context.

Aisha:

Once I'm full, do I need to continue to market my practice?

Aisha:

Yes, you do.

Aisha:

And what you choose to market depends on a few things.

Aisha:

So my first question is, do you have multiple offers in your practice?

Aisha:

What I mean by that is are you offering individual therapy,

Aisha:

couples therapy, family sessions?

Aisha:

Are you working with children?

Aisha:

Are you offering any intensives?

Aisha:

Are you offering case consultation, clinical supervision?

Aisha:

Like how many items do you have on your menu to offer the public

Aisha:

if you only have one service?

Aisha:

I want you to consider that your marketing is going to help you to

Aisha:

continue to offer that one service.

Aisha:

If you stop marketing your practice, you will not have people calling you

Aisha:

the next time that you have an opening.

Aisha:

So it's important for you to consistently market your practice.

Aisha:

Now, does that mean you have to market it at the same fervor and

Aisha:

energy that you were when you were needing to fill your caseload?

Aisha:

No, and you don't need to talk about the same thing either.

Aisha:

, there's this misconception that you only market your practice when

Aisha:

you have something to sell and you can market your practice when

Aisha:

you don't have something to sell.

Aisha:

So one thing to consider is that your marketing is a way for people to

Aisha:

build up their know, like and trust factor internally within themselves.

Aisha:

So if they know you, if they like you, if they trust you,

Aisha:

they will purchase from you.

Aisha:

They will access your services when they feel like they need it.

Aisha:

But if they forget about you, then that reduces your know, like and trust factor

Aisha:

because they don't remember who you are.

Aisha:

So the key to marketing is to stay top of mind, and there's an

Aisha:

opportunity for you to stay top of mind without burning yourself out.

Aisha:

And we talk about that when we address repurposing our content.

Aisha:

And we talk about that when we're looking at having a strategic marketing plan.

Aisha:

So knowing that when you're offering one service and that service is that

Aisha:

capacity, what are you going to do next?

Aisha:

But overall, when you are full, regardless if you have one service or

Aisha:

15 services, You do need to market your practice, and it really just depends

Aisha:

on what you market and how you market.
