- Marc Bergevin lost out to Lou Lamoriello for the Jim Gregory Award for GM of the Year. Bergevin raised expectations for this team heading into the season and it came to fruition with the Canadiens advancing to the Stanley Cup Finals.
- Habs Playoffs News and Notes - Quebec health department refused an increase in the maximum attendance at the Bell Centre. It remains at 3,500. Increased to 18,600 at Amalie Arena.
