Week after week on The Sign Off we've focused on the people who we felt have helped build or maintain the world of Sports Marketing and memorabilia.

We've spoken with agents, managers, social media personalities, security personnel, players, business owners, and more--but what we HAVEN'T done is turn the spotlight onto YOU: The Collector!

This week we sit down with Matt Ellenberger, an avid collector and Business Technologies specialist who has worked in the realm of sports for quite some time, but in his spare time manages a community of like minded individuals who are keen on sharing their love and passion for collecting.

We wanted to get some insight into what the collector wants, and how they view some of the larger companies who enter the scene with a goal of commodifying the collector's hobby. We take the positive feedback along with the criticism as we try to grow this world into something more fitting for everyone involved.
