Speaker A:The Sterry Fire about one mile south of Anderson shows moderate fire behavior with group torching and spotting threatening structures and railroad infrastructure with evacuations and area and trail closures in effect.
Speaker A:The Elliott Complex near Minto, the Bear Fire southeast of Lake Minchumina and the Newitna fire north of McGrath are also among the active incidents.
Speaker A:Scattered showers and thunderstorms may bring new lightning ignitions across the central and eastern interior Arizona.
Speaker A:The Pocket Fire seven miles north of Sedona on the Coconino National Forest holds at roughly 320 acres and zero containment, with numerous structures threatened and evacuations, area and road and trail closures in effect.
Speaker A:State Route 89A remains closed and an evacuation shelter is open at Red Rock High School with evacuation orders set to lift Tuesday morning.
Speaker A:The Sycamore fire north of Globe on the Tonto National Forest has grown to about 8,000 acres at 7% containment with active wind driven runs threatening structures and energy infrastructure.
Speaker A:The Rock Canyon and flat fires round out the state's activity.
Speaker A:California Crews in Los Angeles continue battling flare ups at the Lineage Cold Storage Warehouse fire in Boyle Heights, where Mayor Karen Bass and governor Gavin Newsom have issued local and state emergency declarations to mobilize resources.
Speaker A:The fire is burning beneath structural debris, spoiling millions of pounds of food and raising biohazard concerns, and officials warn smoke will affect air quality across the region for several more days.

Speaker A:Single digit relative humidity and westerly wind gusts are bringing elevated fire weather to the Snake river plain.
Speaker A:Nebraska the South Fork fire 12 miles west of Crawford holds at 39,696 acres and 90% containment with minimal fire behavior and area closures in effect after precipitation fell over the fire area.
Speaker A:Earlier evacuations, including Fort Robinson State park have eased as containment has grown.
Speaker A:Nevada Multiple Great Basin fires are burning in eastern Nevada.
Speaker A:The Cane Springs fire southwest of caliente is about 14,000 acres at 20% containment with railroad infrastructure threatened and the Grapevine Fire southeast of caliente is roughly 13,000 acres at zero containment with extreme fire behavior.
Speaker A:The Shyster and Delambeau fires are largely contained.
Speaker A:New Mexico the Bear Fire on the Gila National Forest is 97% contained at about 7,800 acres and and the Rio fire west of Espanola shows minimal fire behavior with smoldering.
Speaker A:North Carolina the Rose bay Canal Fire 10 miles southwest of Fairfield is about 660 acres at 74% containment with moderate fire behavior.
Speaker A:Drought temperatures well into the 90s and breezy conditions are raising fire risk across the Carolinas.
Speaker A:Oregon the Basin and old emigrant fires are fully contained.
Speaker A:Several new fires emerged across the northwest region and forecasters flagged the potential for single digit relative humidity across southeast Oregon, raising the risk of new ignitions and holdover fires.
Speaker A:Utah is the most active state.
Speaker A:The iron Fire, about 1 mile northwest of Eureka has grown past 24,000 acres at 0 containment with extreme fire behavior, keeping all of Eureka under mandatory evacuation.

Speaker A:The Bonneville Fire, 3 miles east of Salt Lake City, threatens numerous residences and the Sawmill.

Speaker A:Washington The Cartar Fire, 15 miles southeast of OMAC on the Coalville Reservation and is about 11,700 acres at 40% containment with structures threatened and area and road closures in effect.
Speaker A:The Upriver Fire east of Spokane, which destroyed 18 structures, is 85% contained.
Speaker A:FEMA approved a Fire Management Assistance Grant for that incident on June 16.
