We can’t find a place of thriving because we don’t feel safe and at rest. We are missing the shepherd’s staff and rod to bring us and keep us in that place. Christ is our place of safety and rest. When we find life in Christ, we begin to thrive. But we need shepherds to help us stay in Christ because we tend to wander off.
