Unknown:

Hey, everyone, I'm Kelly Mobic, a coach and a

Unknown:

leadership trainer. And I'm super passionate about helping

Unknown:

you find out who you are authentically as a leader, own

Unknown:

it, and go out and make an impact in your life and the

Unknown:

lives of others. This world needs your leadership, your

Unknown:

gifts, your unique brilliance. And I believe that real leaders

Unknown:

don't wait. They create. I know firsthand that life is going to

Unknown:

throw us curveballs that we're going to doubt our greatness,

Unknown:

our ideas and our contributions. And my goal is that you believe

Unknown:

in yourself beyond reason. And I get to be a coach and a champion

Unknown:

for you each week, so that you feel inspired, motivated, and

Unknown:

most important in action towards your unique impact in this

Unknown:

world.

Unknown:

So let's jump in. Hey, there, everyone, this is Coach Kelly,

Unknown:

welcome to episode 163. Of let's be honest, before we start

Unknown:

pretending, and I want to say Happy June, here we are in June,

Unknown:

can you even believe it? I cannot. So happy June, I am

Unknown:

super excited to be continuing our conversation about

Unknown:

intention, which we did all over may all over May, we started off

Unknown:

with what is intention and utilizing the three Ds to It's a

Unknown:

framework to really be intentional, and that was

Unknown:

declared, deciding, declaring and do it. We also then went

Unknown:

into getting clear on your intention. And what goes into

Unknown:

that the four components of intention, looking at what is it

Unknown:

you want your vision, your outcome, getting clear on your

Unknown:

purpose, and why it's important to you. Really, where's your

Unknown:

focus and your energy? And what's your commitment. And that

Unknown:

was really designed to help you be able to get clear on your

Unknown:

intention, because sometimes we get stuck. And then we talked

Unknown:

about becoming masterful at being intentional. And looking

Unknown:

at how you do that by really checking in and seeing what are

Unknown:

the results I'm creating, not just the ones I am creating. But

Unknown:

the ones that I'm not that I'm not creating that I keep saying

Unknown:

I want so that you can really become masterful in being

Unknown:

intentional in with intention, utilizing that as a tool. And I

Unknown:

don't know if you guys are all getting the gist here. But

Unknown:

intention is everything. And it really helps us so much in our

Unknown:

lives taking the lead in it. Okay, so I'm gonna talk about

Unknown:

that in a minute. We then had an amazing guest, Tracy Hewitt, who

Unknown:

came on and talked with us about intentional leadership, and

Unknown:

parenting, being able to create relationships with your

Unknown:

children, all the way through adulthood that is full of joy,

Unknown:

really great episodes. So much fun having Tracy on the podcast.

Unknown:

And then we wrapped up may with intentional leadership and your

Unknown:

relationships. And we talked about the three C's on having

Unknown:

intentional relationships with which really has a look at our

Unknown:

communication, trust and commitment. And that was a

Unknown:

really fun episode. And so again, like I'm saying, I don't

Unknown:

know if you guys are getting the gist here. But intention is

Unknown:

everything. And this podcast is about taking the lead in your

Unknown:

life and not living by circumstance, not living

Unknown:

circumstances lead you but really being intentional and in

Unknown:

ownership about your life and what it is that you want to

Unknown:

create in it. And so I'm continuing with the theme called

Unknown:

intention. And we're gonna go all the way through June with

Unknown:

this all the way through June because and you may notice that

Unknown:

we're now moving into intentional leadership, right?

Unknown:

Because again, this is a podcast about taking the lead in your

Unknown:

life, right. And that is about being a leader that is about

Unknown:

leadership. And so, leadership is also about ownership. And we

Unknown:

want to be in ownership for what it is that we are generating in

Unknown:

our life, okay, we are always going to have circumstances,

Unknown:

they are always going to be around us and some of them are

Unknown:

hard and heavy and some of them are a little bit lighter, a

Unknown:

little bit easier, but we're always going to have them and we

Unknown:

are at choice on our attitudes and the way in which we view

Unknown:

them and move through them. And it really requires us being

Unknown:

intentional. And so in June, I am super excited to share with

Unknown:

you today. This episode is for our entrepreneurs out there.

Unknown:

You're a business owner, this episode is for you because there

Unknown:

are three things that I think are so Essential in being a

Unknown:

business owner slash entrepreneur, owning your own

Unknown:

business, okay? Whether it's small or large, right? It's

Unknown:

important. Now, it is not an episode where I'm going to tell

Unknown:

you how to be an entrepreneur how to create a business, we can

Unknown:

talk about that in future episodes, for sure. But these

Unknown:

are the things where you're already out there. You're a

Unknown:

business owner, you're an entrepreneur, and you might want

Unknown:

to hear this, they may not be the things that you think I

Unknown:

might be talking about, but we're going to talk about that

Unknown:

and how intention plays into it. And then next week, I have a

Unknown:

fantastic guest coming on, who is going to be talking with us

Unknown:

about intentional careers. So good, she's an empowerment

Unknown:

coach. And you're going to love hearing what she has to say. So

Unknown:

this is for people who are in the job force and looking to

Unknown:

make moves in their career or looking to you know, be more

Unknown:

intentional about having fulfillment in their life where

Unknown:

having a job is a large part of our life. So it's a great

Unknown:

episode, we're then going to have a guest who is a

Unknown:

nutritionist and registered dietitian. She's fantastic.

Unknown:

She's going to come on and talk about intentional health, right,

Unknown:

intentional health and how we really take care of ourselves,

Unknown:

especially as we're aging. So I'm super excited to have her

Unknown:

on. It's such a juicy, good episode. And we're gonna wrap up

Unknown:

June with another guest. And this episode is for the ladies

Unknown:

because we're going to talk about intention and your journey

Unknown:

through menopause. So we're going to address perimenopause,

Unknown:

menopause, post menopause, and I have an amazing, fantastic

Unknown:

guest. And we're going to talk about this and y'all are going

Unknown:

to see where intention absolutely is at the core of

Unknown:

living and leaving our lives with fulfillment, joy, as much

Unknown:

of that as we can create, and really being an impact in our

Unknown:

life and in other's lives. Right. So I'm super excited. And

Unknown:

I already have July planned, I'm going to be honest, before I

Unknown:

start pretending there's gonna be some more intention in there,

Unknown:

but the topics are so great. So okay, uh, you know, it's the

Unknown:

beginning of June, I had to tell you what was coming this month.

Unknown:

And I'm super excited. It is very, very full of guests, which

Unknown:

I love. And they are experts in their fields, and they are going

Unknown:

to be bringing you so much knowledge, so much wisdom to

Unknown:

really help you have that fulfillment in your life and

Unknown:

being in lead it being taking the lead in your life with

Unknown:

intention. So today, what I wanted to talk with you all

Unknown:

about is intentional leadership and your business. So again,

Unknown:

this is for my business owners out there. This is for my

Unknown:

entrepreneurs, which y'all know, I am an entrepreneur, I do own

Unknown:

my own business very specifically, I am a leadership

Unknown:

coach, and I work with entrepreneurs, I work with women

Unknown:

who are looking to take the lead in their life through it with a

Unknown:

group coaching program called lifter, you all have heard me

Unknown:

talk about that. And most of my one on one clients are usually

Unknown:

people that are entrepreneurs, and also some people who, you

Unknown:

know, work in companies and are looking at leveling up their

Unknown:

leadership, right. And so I myself, have my own business, I

Unknown:

am an entrepreneur, I have made a ton of mistakes all along the

Unknown:

way and have learned from them, which is why I want to talk with

Unknown:

you about being intentional in your business today. Because I

Unknown:

think it's super important, as I have also created a ton of

Unknown:

success. So I think that there's three areas that are really

Unknown:

important as business owners. Now again, this is not how to be

Unknown:

a business owner, and all the different places that you've got

Unknown:

to look to have a successful business. This is really three

Unknown:

areas that I think contribute to you being fulfilled to you

Unknown:

having boundaries to you having harmony in your life, to you

Unknown:

helping create a bigger impact the one that you want to make.

Unknown:

And so we're not going to be talking about your mission and

Unknown:

your purpose and your values and your goals. The people, your

Unknown:

systems, your measures, your marketing, we're not going to

Unknown:

talk about that. However, all of that is extremely important. And

Unknown:

we've talked about some of that in other episodes, and we can

Unknown:

certainly bring that in and talk about it in future episodes. But

Unknown:

I'm going to talk about one of the categories is your well

Unknown:

being okay. And two of the other categories directly contribute

Unknown:

to your well being. And so here's we're going to talk about

Unknown:

being intentional with your time Time, being intentional with

Unknown:

your finances, and being intentional with your well

Unknown:

being. And here's why. Because time and finances typically, are

Unknown:

usually the two things that I really when I'm working with my

Unknown:

entrepreneur clients are a lot of the things that we're really

Unknown:

looking at and, and working through, you know, not every

Unknown:

single call not every single session, but it'll come up, it

Unknown:

will come up. And, you know, oftentimes we've got to make

Unknown:

some shifts in that. Because when you own your own business,

Unknown:

oftentimes you feel like, I gotta work it 24/7. And here's

Unknown:

the thing, we do eat, breathe and sleep our businesses, we

Unknown:

can't help it. However, we've got to really make sure that our

Unknown:

well being is intact, so that we can create so much more

Unknown:

fulfillment, and really drive that mission that we the reason

Unknown:

we have our business to begin with, really drive that to

Unknown:

success. Okay. And so, one, so I'm going to, I'm going to start

Unknown:

with, I think I'm going to start with time, let's start with

Unknown:

time. First, because being intentional about your time

Unknown:

means that you are really creating some systems for

Unknown:

yourself, to manage yourself with the time that you have. All

Unknown:

right, notice what I'm saying manage yourself with the time

Unknown:

that you have, okay? Not managing time, because guess

Unknown:

what time is going to tick, tick, tick, tick all day all the

Unknown:

way through. And so I always giggle with time management,

Unknown:

because it's not where you really can't manage time, but

Unknown:

what we're managing is ourselves. So we've got to be

Unknown:

intentional. We've got to start our weeks, really looking at

Unknown:

what's ahead of us. What is ahead of this, and what is my

Unknown:

intention? Where do I want to land at the end of the week,

Unknown:

now, here's the thing, you can take that by year, by quarter by

Unknown:

month, by week by day, okay, I'm a big fan of what I like to call

Unknown:

chunking things down, or breaking things down into, you

Unknown:

know, smaller steps, bite sized pieces, whatever you want to

Unknown:

call that, and doing that with our time. So one of the things

Unknown:

that I want to share with you in being intentional is as a

Unknown:

business owner, make sure that you have what I like to call

Unknown:

your CEO day. And your it could be your creation day. For some

Unknown:

people who are content creators, it could be content creation

Unknown:

day. But like having a day, that's your co day that you're

Unknown:

going to work on your business, right rather than in the

Unknown:

business, you're going to work on the business, on your CEO

Unknown:

day. Personally, I like that to be Monday, that is my favorite

Unknown:

day, to have content creation day because I like to take a

Unknown:

look at the landscape ahead and see what's wanted and needed.

Unknown:

This is also a business development day. For me. This is

Unknown:

also looking at the time blocks that I'm going to require making

Unknown:

sure that I have the breaks that are going to be wanted and

Unknown:

needed, making sure that the schedules are intact, and

Unknown:

removing any distractions that possibly could happen. Okay.

Unknown:

See, oh Day is a day that I probably am going to take a look

Unknown:

at some finances because here's the thing, what we measure

Unknown:

grows, right? So I'm going to look at things that are

Unknown:

important as the CEO in my business and in my life that are

Unknown:

supporting this business moving forward. And that's every

Unknown:

Monday, I do not work with clients on Monday. I don't do

Unknown:

it. That's Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, those are full

Unknown:

focus on clients that's working in my business working in it,

Unknown:

right. So Monday on CEO day is again, where I'm going to take a

Unknown:

look at the landscape. And I'm honestly looking, especially the

Unknown:

beginning of the month, like right now I'm looking at the

Unknown:

whole month. Okay, then I'm gonna break it down by week. So

Unknown:

each Monday, I really understand what my time where my time is

Unknown:

going to be spent. Also, I work from home. So I've got to make

Unknown:

sure that I have things in play that are not going to distract

Unknown:

me. True story, true story and I set myself up to make sure

Unknown:

things are intact. Okay, make sure things are intact. I set up

Unknown:

all my reminders for the week. I do that you know in my phone, in

Unknown:

my calendar wherever it is it's just it's like a double check

Unknown:

and making sure everything because if it doesn't exist in

Unknown:

the calendar, honestly, it doesn't exist for me all right.

Unknown:

And that's also where I'm now going to look at finances you

Unknown:

know not everybody loves the look at some people do they're

Unknown:

like, let give me all the finances let me look. But it's

Unknown:

really looking and seeing where are we on track. Where are we on

Unknown:

track. So I do this quarterly. I do this monthly. And I take a

Unknown:

look at high level look weekly, where are we at? And I work with

Unknown:

my bookkeeper on that, too. Okay, so and then also what was

Unknown:

the other thing I was gonna say their CEO day CEO day. You see,

Unknown:

it's a Friday today, because that's content creation day for

Unknown:

me. So I am so far away from my CEO day that was that was

Unknown:

earlier in the week, but we're going to head into it there.

Unknown:

Here's what I want you to take away basics, what on your CEO

Unknown:

day is required for you through the week, with your time, okay,

Unknown:

so think of it that way. And that's setting yourself up for

Unknown:

success so that when you wake up on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,

Unknown:

Friday, you're ready to go, you are ready to go. Okay. So we

Unknown:

have to be intentional with our time, I don't know about you,

Unknown:

but I can be someone who can like us every second of every

Unknown:

day, and push through. Okay, and really push through. So being

Unknown:

intentional with your time is going to require you to bill in,

Unknown:

we like your breaks, are you taking them if you're not, I'm

Unknown:

going to really suggest that you do really suggest that you do

Unknown:

because energy is everything. And if we're not taking breaks,

Unknown:

think about that. Think about that. It's exhausting. And it's

Unknown:

a quick, surefire way to move to burnout, okay, and intentional

Unknown:

with our time means being realistic with our time, true

Unknown:

story being realistic with our time. Because and this takes

Unknown:

practice, I used to not at all be realistic with my time, I

Unknown:

thought I could do a lot more with a little bit of time. And

Unknown:

that's not really true. Okay. And so now when I look through

Unknown:

the week, at my time, I'm really focusing in on the priorities of

Unknown:

the week, and then breaking them down by day on the top three

Unknown:

that are going to happen and move them in you guys, this

Unknown:

practice alone has absolutely been a game changer. It's been a

Unknown:

game changer. So you know, it can be so easy sometimes to

Unknown:

just, you know haphazardly accidentally step into your

Unknown:

week. But when you're being intentional about your time,

Unknown:

you're going to have less fatigue by Friday, I always know

Unknown:

that if I am not being intentional with my time, I know

Unknown:

it because on Friday, I am like, Whoa, I am exhausted 100%. And

Unknown:

actually, that'll start to creep in on Thursday, by Thursday with

Unknown:

my accountability partner. She knows if I'm like, I'm really

Unknown:

tired. We're gonna look at my intentional time, we're gonna

Unknown:

look at it. Okay. So that's what I want to say is think about

Unknown:

this, your time, time is valuable, okay, it's a resource.

Unknown:

And we want to be intentional about our resources. Okay, so

Unknown:

speaking of resources, our money is also a resource. And we want

Unknown:

to be really intentional about that to our finances, in the

Unknown:

business. You know, in some businesses, it you know, some

Unknown:

people I remember, my husband used to say this to me, he's

Unknown:

like, I don't think money drives you. And I'm like, I don't know

Unknown:

that it does, either. I love working with people. And I love

Unknown:

being in service. And one of the things as a business owner in a

Unknown:

service based business I got to get over is that you get to be

Unknown:

paid because time is money, money is time. And it is it is

Unknown:

your value, right? Whatever that is. And so I remember that

Unknown:

really hit me when he said that to me. And I was like, Okay,

Unknown:

we've got to flip that and turn it around, and really get

Unknown:

intentional about finances, and generating income, because that

Unknown:

is a pathway to creating more impact in so many ways. By being

Unknown:

intentional with money and finances, I can hire people to

Unknown:

help me that helps grow the business, that means we can

Unknown:

reach more people, right? I can contribute more to different

Unknown:

projects, or charities that I want to contribute to, you know

Unknown:

what I mean? You want to think about that. So I don't know, you

Unknown:

know, for some of you out there if this is hitting home, but you

Unknown:

know, wouldn't it be great if we could do it all for free and

Unknown:

live in this like world for free, but it's just not the way

Unknown:

that it works? Right? So here's the other thing. I truly believe

Unknown:

that as a business owner, really understanding what are my

Unknown:

finances going to look like? What is wanted and needed to

Unknown:

have the business be sustainable. What's wanted and

Unknown:

needed to have the business grow, is really important to

Unknown:

look at. And sustainable is one thing growth is another okay?

Unknown:

You want it to be st sustainable but also you want it to grow.

Unknown:

Okay. And so for any of you that are having conversations about

Unknown:

out money in business. Think of it as impact. Think about it as

Unknown:

impact and the impact that you want to make and be intentional

Unknown:

about it. What you measure grows, you want to look at it,

Unknown:

hey, when we put our head in the sand, and pretend, right,

Unknown:

pretend it's not always the fun part right about business.

Unknown:

Usually, it's our mission and the impact that we're creating.

Unknown:

But you've got to be intentional about your finances, so that you

Unknown:

are able to create the impact that you want. So you've got to

Unknown:

look at it, you've got to get help. I have helped with that.

Unknown:

Now, that was not my favorite part of my business at all. I

Unknown:

just want to I just want to coach and train. Okay. However,

Unknown:

I work with a lot of entrepreneurs, and can you

Unknown:

imagine I'm like, don't worry about the money. No, you

Unknown:

finances money. That's important. It is important. It

Unknown:

helps businesses be sustainable and grow and create impact

Unknown:

period done. So I outsource that and got help with that. Game

Unknown:

changer, game changer. That's being intentional, that is being

Unknown:

intentional. I really do recommend that for any part of

Unknown:

your business that is not, you know, lighting you up. Now, with

Unknown:

that being said, I still have to look at it, I am responsible in

Unknown:

an ownership for my business. So I still have to look, I still

Unknown:

have to set goals, I've still got to be really clear about

Unknown:

where we are, if there's anything missing, and what we

Unknown:

need to move forward. Okay, so be intentional about your

Unknown:

finances all and time and money are resources, time and money or

Unknown:

resources. But here's the thing, they are two things that we can

Unknown:

get really wrapped up in and can really stress us out, and then

Unknown:

come in and sort of muddy the water. Okay, they are two things

Unknown:

that are absolutely a part of our well being. Okay, our well

Unknown:

being and that's why I wanted to start with time and money, and

Unknown:

really talk with you about being intentional. Now, if you're

Unknown:

wondering what being intentional means, please go back to the

Unknown:

beginning of May and listen to the first three episodes, where

Unknown:

we talk about what is intention, getting clear on your intention

Unknown:

and intention and your results, because that's going to give you

Unknown:

all the information you need on being intentional. Okay, so I'm

Unknown:

not going to repeat this here. I wanted to give you a couple of

Unknown:

examples. And I wanted to really drive home that these are direct

Unknown:

things that contribute to your well being as a business owner,

Unknown:

let's talk about well being well being is super important. How am

Unknown:

I being? Is it well? How am I How am I? Am I Well, right? And

Unknown:

that is mind, body, soul. Mind is mental, emotional body is

Unknown:

physical soul, that's your spirit. That is your spirit.

Unknown:

Okay? And when we look at that, and we look at that as our well

Unknown:

being, and we're taking the lead in our lives, and our businesses

Unknown:

with intention, how we doing? How are we right? How are we?

Unknown:

You heard me say if come Thursday afternoon and Friday, I

Unknown:

am at a level of exhaustion, that I don't want to create

Unknown:

content. I know that's a red flag for me, because Fridays are

Unknown:

content creation days. For me, that's a red flag and I've got

Unknown:

to have energy, I've got to you know, I've got to have energy to

Unknown:

be able to pour in to that because I do create a lot of

Unknown:

content. And I've got to have that energy. So I mean, it's

Unknown:

it's results don't lie. If I'm tired. Where was I being in my

Unknown:

well being? Probably not great. Probably not intentional, okay.

Unknown:

So, your well being means what do I require to be the best

Unknown:

version of me as a business owner? So write that down? What

Unknown:

is required for me to be the best version of me as a business

Unknown:

owner? Okay. And look at it from a mind body and soul,

Unknown:

perspective, mental, emotional, physical spirit, okay? Really

Unknown:

look at that, from that perspective and be really

Unknown:

intentional and honest with yourself about those answers.

Unknown:

Okay. Nobody asked you to be a hero. Nobody said push through.

Unknown:

Okay. Nobody said that. But somewhere we make that up.

Unknown:

Believe me. I know. I've been an entrepreneur for 20 years. I

Unknown:

understand. Okay. So you want to really look at that? And answer

Unknown:

that question, honestly. And then being intentional means

Unknown:

being action toward that be an action toward that. Y'all know I

Unknown:

had knee replacement surgery back in February, and I am so

Unknown:

happy to tell you that my left knee works really great. And I

Unknown:

have to say that is because I knew I still got to run a

Unknown:

business. I was very intentional about what was going to occur in

Unknown:

this time period. good am I physical therapy for my left

Unknown:

knee and ended at the end of May. So just like a week ago,

Unknown:

and I had to be really intentional about my time, my

Unknown:

finances and my well being in order to support my intention

Unknown:

this year to be vibrant. You know, that's about health, I've

Unknown:

said it before and in integrity with myself. So that meant, I

Unknown:

had to ask myself some really great questions to help me be

Unknown:

intentional in my well being, and schedule in not just

Unknown:

physical therapy, where I had to go to the physical therapists

Unknown:

office, but also like at home, so that I could have the best

Unknown:

success possible. I'm here to tell you, we hit the goals like

Unknown:

the the, I'm not gonna get these medical terms, right. But like

Unknown:

the bend, you know, the bend 125 degrees, that's the our goal, we

Unknown:

hit it, full extension, that means I can straighten out my

Unknown:

leg, and also working with balance and strength and not

Unknown:

having the knee be stiff all the time. Like, I have to tell you,

Unknown:

I thought it was gonna take a year before I wasn't really

Unknown:

thinking about any more, there are some days where I'm like,

Unknown:

Oh my gosh, what? My knee, right? Because I'm being

Unknown:

intentional about my well being. And it's really important as a

Unknown:

business owner, because one of the things I noticed is that

Unknown:

after surgery, I would get tired, it still happens I get

Unknown:

tired, a lot more easy. And that's because it takes a while

Unknown:

for the body to heal, right. And that's also mental, emotional

Unknown:

and physical. I've gotta say all of it. And so, you know, I can

Unknown:

live by that circumstance, or I can live by my intention, right.

Unknown:

And I wasn't taking three months off of my business as an

Unknown:

entrepreneur. So it was so important to be intentional

Unknown:

about my well being okay. And I'm just talking about the knee.

Unknown:

There's so many other things. I get up really early, but I don't

Unknown:

hit the ground running with work. I literally have a couple

Unknown:

hours of my morning, where I am quiet I am I these are the

Unknown:

things that are required quiet inspiration and movement. Those

Unknown:

are the things that are required to set myself up for success in

Unknown:

the day. Okay, and it looks different all the time. But it's

Unknown:

essential, and we don't miss it. Also wrapping up the day, get

Unknown:

ready for this at 5pm. No other conversation. No at some of you

Unknown:

might be like what I used to work until 738. Now there are

Unknown:

caveats. If I'm doing a workshop, you know, that's in

Unknown:

the evening, my day is going to end a little bit later. But

Unknown:

guess what, on those days, it's going to start a little bit

Unknown:

later. Because I've got to have the energy, right. So you are in

Unknown:

charge is what I want to say of your wellbeing, you've got to

Unknown:

ask yourself those questions and be really honest, that I was

Unknown:

talking about earlier, what's required to be the best version

Unknown:

of me as a business owner, what's required. And in the

Unknown:

areas of well being mental, emotional, physical, and soul

Unknown:

slash spirit, what is required, okay, what is required, and it's

Unknown:

gonna be different for everyone, you've got to find out what's

Unknown:

true for you. And then here's the key, you've got to be

Unknown:

consistent. You've got to be in your integrity with it. Because

Unknown:

nobody's watching you as a business owner, right? I mean,

Unknown:

nobody's like, you own your own business. You're the CEO. No

Unknown:

one's like, Hey, how you doing, you've got to be in integrity

Unknown:

with that, really, and truly, you've got to be in integrity

Unknown:

with that. Nobody's watching, do it anyway, you will be so happy

Unknown:

because with these three things, your well being your finances in

Unknown:

your time, you are going to be in the best place possible to

Unknown:

create the greatest impact possible and have the success

Unknown:

that you decide true story. So again, be intentional with your

Unknown:

time, be intentional with your finances and be intentional with

Unknown:

your well being because you deserve it. The people that you

Unknown:

serve deserve it. And I mean, I get it. When we own our own

Unknown:

business. It's like, oh, 24/7 We can't get away with it. Get away

Unknown:

from it. Yes, you can. Yes, you can. I remember there was a time

Unknown:

I was like, you know, when I was in banking, I could actually

Unknown:

leave, you know, leave and then like drive home and not be in

Unknown:

banking anymore. Right until the next day. But as a business

Unknown:

owner, oh my gosh, it's like happening all the time. No, it's

Unknown:

not. No, it's not. I literally like we went back to New York

Unknown:

for my son's graduation. And everything was in place that I

Unknown:

could step away from the business and be present with my

Unknown:

family and celebrate and have that time to be present with

Unknown:

them. Right. There was a time where I would be like, let me

Unknown:

bring this let me bring my computer and do you know all the

Unknown:

things No, no, no, no. Right? And so it was magical. And we

Unknown:

get to create that we're in charge, but you've got it, you

Unknown:

know, you've got to decide you got to make that decision. And

Unknown:

then you got to declare, to do something about it, and then do

Unknown:

it. And then do it and be in your integrity. Because

Unknown:

remember, we have a choice to lead our lives or follow our

Unknown:

circumstances. And truly, it is about knowing your passion, your

Unknown:

purpose, your values, and really being intentional about that, so

Unknown:

that you can create the impact in your life and the life of

Unknown:

others that you truly desire. And when you take the lead in

Unknown:

your life, you are authentic and vulnerable and courageous. And

Unknown:

being intentional. And being intentional as a business owner.

Unknown:

You know, a lot of people start their own businesses because

Unknown:

they want that freedom with their time with their finances

Unknown:

and their well being. And sometimes we just go boom, right

Unknown:

into it's a trap. No, it's not be intentional with it and watch

Unknown:

you thrive. It's not always gonna look the way we think it's

Unknown:

supposed to. I know I say this all the time. But trust that

Unknown:

more gets revealed as we move forward. So you've got to pause

Unknown:

and let go of worry and doubt and really look, really look and

Unknown:

be honest with yourself, what's working, what's not working so

Unknown:

that you live fully? The best version of you, y'all. Thanks
