Luke 10:2 states, And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” This means that we should all be asking God to bring more workers for His Kingdom work. 2) Fasting, humbling, and praying. The long-lost art in the Christian faith for getting results. By the way, this method is Jesus taught, and Jesus approved. Fasting doesn’t mean for 40 days. Some of us would benefit if we just did it for forty hours. 3) Here comes the boom. Ezra was concerned about being ashamed to ask the King for help when he already told the King that God would help them. His concern was much more valid than we realize. His problem was that he was inconsistent with his faith and his actions.
