Shownotes

I’ve built my entire career around defending service members overseas—Korea, Japan, Guam, Germany, the Middle East. You name it, I’ve fought cases there.

In this episode, I open up about the behind-the-scenes chaos that comes with this kind of work. I talk about losing luggage in Turkey and scrambling to get a suit made just to be ready for court. I share how trials get postponed mid-flight, how hearings blow up because of last-minute evidence, and how one week in Okinawa can turn into a month of logistical hell changing hotels, shifting flights, and moving other trials just to keep the mission alive.

This isn’t for the faint of heart. Overseas trials demand more than legal skill. You’ve got to be flexible, self-sufficient, and able to pivot with zero notice. I explain how I’ve built systems to do just that and why most attorneys won’t even try.

If you're stationed 6,000 miles from home, you need someone who’s already been there and someone who won’t blink when everything goes off-script. Because I’ve learned one thing over 15 years of doing this: there’s no resupply. No backup. Just the attorney who showed up to win.
