Shownotes

This discourse centers on the profound assertion that poverty is not an inherent identity but rather a yoke that binds individuals, hindering their destiny. It elucidates the necessity of obedience to divine instruction as a critical key to unlocking prosperity, exemplified through the narrative of Noah and his unwavering commitment to God's command despite widespread ridicule. The message starkly delineates the distinction between true prosperity, grounded in covenantal wisdom, and the pernicious allure of materialism. I implore listeners to recognize that their financial struggles may stem from patterns of disobedience and a lack of discipline rather than insurmountable circumstances. Ultimately, this episode serves as a clarion call to build one's "ark" through diligent planning, spiritual discipline, and a commitment to the unique assignment God has placed upon each of us. The discourse articulates the profound notion that many individuals grapple not with a lack of financial resources, but rather with a deficiency in obedience to divine instruction. The premise of the episode, titled "The Anointing of Prosperity," emphasizes the importance of recognizing God as the ultimate source of wealth, rather than succumbing to the allure of prosperity as an idol. It addresses the misconception that poverty can be equated with holiness, asserting that such beliefs are erroneous and detrimental. The speaker, with a commanding presence, invokes biblical truths to dispel the notion that struggling equates to spiritual virtue, reinforcing the idea that God is a liberator, capable of breaking the chains of poverty. Through the narrative of Noah, who constructed an ark amidst ridicule and disbelief, the audience learns that obedience to God's directives is paramount. The speaker encourages listeners to embrace their divine assignments without seeking validation from the world, illustrating that true prosperity follows those who adhere to God's command without hesitation. This episode serves as a clarion call to recognize and combat the yokes of poverty, urging believers to affirm their identity in Christ and reject the false narratives that bind them. It provides a framework for understanding that financial freedom is intricately linked to spiritual obedience and discipline, challenging the audience to reassess their beliefs and practices regarding wealth and provision.

Takeaways:

  1. The anointing of prosperity does not equate to the worship of wealth, as God remains the ultimate source of our blessings.
  2. Poverty should not be viewed as a personal identity, but rather as a yoke that can be broken through faith and obedience.
  3. True instruction from God requires unwavering obedience, which often manifests as disciplined actions that lead to financial prosperity.
  4. Holiness and separation from worldly habits are essential for experiencing the financial advantages bestowed by God upon His faithful servants.

Transcripts

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, listen.

Speaker A:

There is a kind of prosperity message that manipulates people.

Speaker A:

And there's a kind of prosperity that comes from covenant wisdom and the fear of the Lord.

Speaker A:

This series is called the Anointing of Prosperity.

Speaker A:

And am I here to sell you hype and here to preach the Bible?

Speaker A:

The Word says it is God who gives you the ability to produce wealth.

Speaker A:

So if God gives the ability, then poverty is not your identity and lack is not your calling.

Speaker A:

But hear me, we're also going to expose greed, laziness and spiritual scamming because God will not anoint your excuses.

Speaker A:

We're going to talk about the oil that breaks poverty yokes, anointed hands that create wealth, and the overflowing cup, not for flexing, but for assignment.

Speaker A:

So let's buckle up, get your Bible, bring your notebook, and let's learn how to prosper without losing our souls.

Speaker A:

Because in the kingdom, overflow is responsibility.

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, today we're touching something that will offend lazy faith, comfort, disciplined faith.

Speaker A:

Because some people don't have a money problem, they have an obedience problem.

Speaker A:

And some don't have a poverty problem, they have a pattern problem.

Speaker A:

Now listen, this series is called the Anointing of Prosperity.

Speaker A:

And before anybody gets nervous, let me say up front, I don't preach money as a God.

Speaker A:

I preach God as the source.

Speaker A:

We don't worship wealth, we, we worship the Lord.

Speaker A:

But we also don't insult the promises of God because we've seen people abuse him.

Speaker A:

Some believers got hurt by a fake prosperity, so now they love fake poverty.

Speaker A:

They think struggling is holiness.

Speaker A:

They think broke is humble.

Speaker A:

They think lack is loyalty.

Speaker A:

But the devil is a liar.

Speaker A:

Poverty is not a fruit of the spirit and debt is not a spiritual gift.

Speaker A:

Come on, talk back and say, I will not be chained.

Speaker A:

Say it again.

Speaker A:

I will not be chained.

Speaker A:

Because the Bible says in Isaiah 58, 6.

Speaker A:

Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen to loose the chains of injustice and to break every yoke.

Speaker A:

God is a yoke breaker.

Speaker A:

God is a chain breaker.

Speaker A:

God is a deliverer.

Speaker A:

And today we're going to talk about Noah and the oil that breaks poverty yokes.1.

Speaker A:

The world mocks what it doesn't understand.

Speaker A:

Picture Noah.

Speaker A:

He's building the first ark.

Speaker A:

Not a canoe, not a little boat, a massive ark.

Speaker A:

And the problem is there is no rain.

Speaker A:

There is no flood.

Speaker A:

There is no evidence, only instruction.

Speaker A:

So Noah is out there measuring wood, hammering nails while people are laughing.

Speaker A:

I can hear them, Noah, what are you building?

Speaker A:

Noah would say an ark.

Speaker A:

And they would say, for what?

Speaker A:

And Noah responds, a flood.

Speaker A:

And people would say, what's a flood?

Speaker A:

Then Noah would respond, water coming from the sky.

Speaker A:

And they would all say, what's the sky doing with water?

Speaker A:

And here's the first lesson.

Speaker A:

The world always mocks what God has revealed to you.

Speaker A:

They laughed at Noah.

Speaker A:

They laughed at Joseph's dreams.

Speaker A:

They laughed at David's sling.

Speaker A:

They laughed at Jesus until he rose.

Speaker A:

So let me say this plainly.

Speaker A:

If God spoke it, you don't need their permission.

Speaker A:

If God assigned it, you don't need their applause.

Speaker A:

If God revealed it, you don't need their understanding.

Speaker A:

Because provision follows assignment.

Speaker A:

Not vibes, not luck, not manifesting assignment.

Speaker A:

Say this with me, I am not building for applause.

Speaker A:

Say this with me, I am building for assignment.

Speaker A:

Point 2.

Speaker A:

Poverty is a yoke, not a responsibility.

Speaker A:

And it's not a personality.

Speaker A:

Let's be real.

Speaker A:

Many believers have made poverty into a personality.

Speaker A:

They don't just have lack, they have an identity.

Speaker A:

I'm just broke.

Speaker A:

I'm not good with money.

Speaker A:

Our family struggles.

Speaker A:

This is our curse.

Speaker A:

No, no, no.

Speaker A:

Poverty is not your name.

Speaker A:

Poverty is a yoke.

Speaker A:

And a yoke is something that sits on the neck to control direction and speed.

Speaker A:

That means poverty tries to control how you think, how you choose, how you plan and how you dream.

Speaker A:

Poverty says, don't start the business, you'll fail.

Speaker A:

Don't study, it's too late.

Speaker A:

Don't tithe, you'll die.

Speaker A:

Don't save, you'll never have enough.

Speaker A:

Don't invest.

Speaker A:

Only rich people do that.

Speaker A:

But Jesus said in Matthew:

Speaker A:

Some yokes are illegal on your Life.

Speaker A:

And Isaiah:

Speaker A:

So when the anointing comes, it doesn't just make you shout, it breaks what's sitting on your destiny.

Speaker A:

Say this with me.

Speaker A:

Every illegal yoke must break off my life.

Speaker A:

Point 3.

Speaker A:

Noah's oil is an instruction as obedience is a wealth.

Speaker A:

Key.

Speaker A:

Genesis 6:22 says, Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

Speaker A:

Read that again.

Speaker A:

In your spirit.

Speaker A:

Noah did everything.

Speaker A:

Not some things.

Speaker A:

Not convenient things.

Speaker A:

Everything.

Speaker A:

This is the oil most people don't want.

Speaker A:

Because oil in the kingdom is not always goosebumps.

Speaker A:

Sometimes oil looks like obedience.

Speaker A:

You want prosperity oil.

Speaker A:

Start here.

Speaker A:

What did God tell you to do that you keep on postponing?

Speaker A:

Because instruction is spiritual, yes, but instruction becomes practical.

Speaker A:

God tells Noah, build.

Speaker A:

God tells Joseph, interpret.

Speaker A:

God Tells David, fight.

Speaker A:

God tells Ruth, stay.

Speaker A:

God tells Peter, launch out.

Speaker A:

God tells the disciples, go.

Speaker A:

And when they obeyed, heaven backed it.

Speaker A:

Delayed obedience is a poverty partner.

Speaker A:

Now, some people pray for harvest while rejecting seed.

Speaker A:

They pray for doors while refusing discipline.

Speaker A:

They pray for increase while refusing instruction.

Speaker A:

But Proverbs 8, 10, 11 puts wisdom above gold and silver, meaning, if you get the instruction, you get the increase.

Speaker A:

Say this with me, Lord, give me your instruction.

Speaker A:

Say this with me, and give me the power to obey it.

Speaker A:

Number 4.4.

Speaker A:

Rather Noah's oil is that discipline is the ark was built in private.

Speaker A:

Now listen.

Speaker A:

Noah's ark didn't go viral.

Speaker A:

Noah's ark didn't have a crowd cheering him on.

Speaker A:

Noah didn't have sponsors.

Speaker A:

Noah didn't even have a Gofundme.

Speaker A:

Noah had years of building, years of cutting, years of carrying, years of repeating the same thing while being mocked.

Speaker A:

Now that's discipline.

Speaker A:

And discipline is a spiritual anointing.

Speaker A:

Galatians 6:9 says, Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we don't give up.

Speaker A:

Some of you keep quitting right before proper time.

Speaker A:

You leave jobs too early, you stop studying too early.

Speaker A:

You quit the business too early, you stop saving too early, you stop praying too early.

Speaker A:

But Noah teaches us prosperity comes to people who can outlast embarrassment.

Speaker A:

The ark was built by a man who refused to be offended by process.

Speaker A:

And let me get you in your kitchen.

Speaker A:

If you can't manage your emotions, you can't manage money, because money is managed by consistency, not motivation.

Speaker A:

Say this with me.

Speaker A:

I will not give up.

Speaker A:

I will outlast the process.

Speaker A:

Point 4 Noah's Oil is separation, and holiness is a financial advantage.

Speaker A:

Genesis 6.

Speaker A:

9 says, says, Noah was righteous in his generation, meaning Noah wasn't perfect, but Noah was different.

Speaker A:

And some of you want Noah's provision with the crowd's lifestyle.

Speaker A:

You want ark protection while living like everybody else.

Speaker A:

You want kingdom overflow while practicing worldly habits.

Speaker A:

Let me say it.

Speaker A:

Certain prosperity requires separation, separation from impulsive spending, toxic friendships, scandalous shortcuts, gambling mindsets, lying and hustling, sexual chaos that drains destiny and pride that can't be corrected.

Speaker A:

Romans 12:2 says, do not conform, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.

Speaker A:

You can't conform to broke thinking and expect blessed results.

Speaker A:

Proverbs 22:7 says, the borrower is slave to the lender.

Speaker A:

Some of you are anointed but enslaved, gifted but bound, prayerful but panicking every month.

Speaker A:

That's why this message is deliverance, not just information.

Speaker A:

Say this with me, Lord.

Speaker A:

Separate me from habits that keep me small.

Speaker A:

Point 6 the flood reveals who was right and then the rain came.

Speaker A:

The same people who laughed now wish they listened.

Speaker A:

The same people who mocked laughed now need mercy.

Speaker A:

The same people who call them crazy now want access.

Speaker A:

Hear me.

Speaker A:

Seasons change.

Speaker A:

And when seasons change, preparation becomes prophecy fulfilled.

Speaker A:

The ark was not a flex.

Speaker A:

It was survival.

Speaker A:

It was legacy.

Speaker A:

It was covenant.

Speaker A:

And that's what God is doing with you.

Speaker A:

He's teaching you to build something that outlives trends, something that saves your family, something that protects your children.

Speaker A:

Something that funds the gospel.

Speaker A:

Something that breaks generational bondage.

Speaker A:

God doesn't bless you for spotlight.

Speaker A:

He blesses you for stewardship.

Speaker A:

Here are some practical applications for believers.

Speaker A:

Build your ark system.

Speaker A:

Budget saving, giving, skill building, consistency.

Speaker A:

Obey God's instruction even when it feels slow.

Speaker A:

Stop spiritualizing disorganization for ministry, work and family excellence is evangelism.

Speaker A:

People, respect fruit.

Speaker A:

Train your children to create value, not chase money.

Speaker A:

Create household rhythms, prayer, planning and discipline.

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, stop romanticizing struggle.

Speaker A:

If you're always broke, always behind, always panicking, something must shift because God is not calling you to be a victim of Pharaoh's system.

Speaker A:

He called Israel out with silver and gold.

Speaker A:

Just check out Psalm:

Speaker A:

But hear this warning.

Speaker A:

If you chase money more than God, it will pierce you.

Speaker A:

Check out 1 Timothy 6:10 Prosperity must stay under lordship or it becomes idolatry.

Speaker A:

Here are some questions for reflection.

Speaker A:

Question 1.

Speaker A:

What has God instructed me to build that I've delayed because of fear or mockery?

Speaker A:

2.

Speaker A:

What poverty yoke is most active in my thinking?

Speaker A:

Scarcity, laziness, impulsiveness or fear?

Speaker A:

And 3 what discipline do I need to commit to for the next 90 days that would change my financial trajectory?

Speaker A:

Let us pray.

Speaker A:

Father, in the name of Jesus, I repent for every place I called disobedience waiting.

Speaker A:

I repent for every place I called laziness Rest.

Speaker A:

I repent for every place I called fear wisdom.

Speaker A:

Break every poverty yoke of my mind, my habits, my bloodline and my home.

Speaker A:

Anoint me like Noah.

Speaker A:

Give me clarity of instruction, strength for discipline and courage for to be different.

Speaker A:

Teach my hands to build, teach my mind to plan, teach my heart to steward and let the increase that comes to my life glorify you.

Speaker A:

Bless my family and advance your kingdom in Jesus name.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Brothers and sisters, build the ark even if they are laughing, rain is coming.
