Part 2 of my Disney trip reports is here, and this one takes us from a late night at Magic Kingdom to a hot day exploring Animal Kingdom with three kids. We're talking fireworks, the starlight parade, Bluey's Wild World, Lightning Lane strategy, park hopping, and plenty of moments where our original plans had to change.

We planned our entire Magic Kingdom evening around Happily Ever After and the starlight parade, including a pre-fireworks dessert party. I'm sharing what worked, what felt way more chaotic than expected, and exactly what I would do differently next time. If you're doing Disney World with kids , especially little ones who aren't used to late nights, there are definitely a few things you'll want to consider before trying to fit both the parade and fireworks into one evening.

Then we're heading to Animal Kingdom for one of the experiences my kids were most excited about: Bluey's Wild World. If you're searching for Bluey at Disney World 2026, I'm breaking down what the experience is actually like, how long you should plan for it, and whether I think it's worth adding to your day.

In this episode, we cover:

  • How we planned our Magic Kingdom evening around the starlight parade and Happily Ever After
  • What Bluey's Wild World is actually like for families searching for Bluey at Disney World 2026
  • How much time I'd allow for the Bluey experience at Animal Kingdom
  • What worked and what didn't while doing Disney World with kids of three very different ages

One of the reasons I love sharing these Disney trip reports is that they're not perfect itineraries for you to copy. They're a look at what actually happens when a carefully planned Disney vacation meets weather, ride closures, tired kids, unexpected timing, and a little Disney magic.

Whether you're researching Bluey at Disney World 2026, trying to figure out the best way to see the starlight parade, or planning Disney World with kids , I hope these real-life details help you make better decisions for your own family. That's the goal of these Disney trip reports: take what works for you, leave what doesn't, and build a trip around your family's priorities.

Come hang out with us on Instagram and tell me: If you're planning Disney World with kids, which would your family be more excited about – the starlight parade or Bluey's Wild World?
